Lovely place, love the decor. Second visit, first time staff couldn't find our table to deliver food ☹️ Today I was served my food and my friend was left waiting for her meal. Luckily mine was a cold option, would have liked to be served at the same time. Nice friendly staff.
We had brunch in Petalo Lounge and had a really good experience. The service and decor is fantastic, and there is a wide menu with lots of vegetarian options. The brunch meals we ordered were both delicious with generous portions, and the fresh juice and coffee were also of high quality. I was also very tempted by the tapas/burgers/sandwich menus - lots to try on future visits!
Our first visit to the Spalding Lounge , arrived about 8.30 pm.There was plenty of choice of tables. We had Tapas hummus with flat breads a beef dish and quesadillas all was very nice
The burger was delicious, and the service was fast, I will come back to have a food, I ordered a Biscoff Banoffe Milkshake at the end, and it was awful. First, there was a lot of ice, so much that I was sucking up crushed ice through the straw. The flavor was very weak. I asked for a new one without ice to take away, and I got the milkshake in a coffee cup for takeaway. The taste was very bad, artificial, and watery. It felt like just milk was poured in with a pump of syrup. This is not how a milkshake should be made. The name said 'milkshake,' not 'watery ice.' Is this how milkshakes are served?
My wife and I, popped in 2/12 to find out what this new option would be like whilst waiting for our Bus home. We had a very good experience. Service excellent Food very good, the soup was amazing Price very good We were attended to by Richard who was superb. They were very busy, it was 12:00 noon, but nothing was a problem. The Ladies who brought our food were also, great examples of how to treat/care for Customers. My only criticism would be, that it was a little on the dark side lighting wise.🤫
