3 of us went for Xmas Day dinner. Not as we expected. No Yorkshire pudding and very small portions of turkey. Wasn't busy but slow service. For the money we expected more.
This was our first visit and what a lovely pub, with great food and even better service! Everyone was so friendly and we cleared our plates - always a good sign.
Wow! Wow! Wow! I have lived here for years and only just discovered this place has magnificent food! The quality is outstanding, and the value for money is second to none! We used to eat at the local Wetherspoons, but no more! The Pied Calf knocks the socks off Spoons when it comes to quality, choice, and price, and the staff are wonderful! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 P.S. I ate my food without taking a picture, but the picture of the double burger on the menu is exactly what I got!
Very friendly place and very hospitable the prices were great for the quality of food given. The kids menu was enjoyed by our little munchkins 😁. Our favourite was definitely the kg of chicken wings which I would recommend as a great starter!!! Overall a great place for a family meal your typical pub meals which were perfect for what we were wanting. A plus for Blue light card holders is you can get 15% off through the app as well always comes in handy 😉
Another tasty meal at The Pied Calf. Fantastic value for money! Had the hunters chicken this time. Gorgeous!
