I recently dined at Katana after weeks of anticipation for their teppanyaki cuisine. I went with a group of four, and for the three others, it was their first experience at a hibachi grill. I made a reservation online but received a prompt email informing me that my requested time wasn’t available. However, they were able to accommodate us just 30 minutes later, which I appreciated. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by friendly staff and seated at the teppanyaki grill within just two minutes. We ordered a selection of teppanyaki steak, lamb, and chicken. Our chef, who introduced himself as "V," was fantastic! He made the experience not only entertaining but also expertly cooked our meals. The servers were attentive throughout the evening, frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. Overall, we had a great time with the teppanyaki grill experience, although we all found the food to be a bit greasier than expected. I was so captivated by the cooking show and all the flames that I forgot to take pictures, but I did remember to snap one when our teppanyaki ice cream dessert was served. While I enjoyed my time at the restaurant, I think that if I return, I might opt for a regular table instead. With four grills in operation, the atmosphere was lively, but each grill follows a similar routine and shares the same jokes. Once you’ve seen one show, it feels like you’ve seen them all. Overall, it was a memorable experience!

Our family of six adults had a very enjoyable experience at Katana Restaurant while visiting Grantham for Christmas. The restaurant provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which made our holiday outing feel even more special. Chef Yam was an excellent host and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was memorable. He cooked our food to suit our individual preferences, which added a personal touch that we really appreciated. The food itself was flavorful and well-prepared, with a good variety of options to choose from. The portion sizes were generous, and we felt the price was very reasonable considering the quality and amount of food provided. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we’d recommend Katana to anyone looking for a good meal in Grantham. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d be happy to visit again.

This was my third trip to Katana and the service has been consistently high across the visits! Food is delicious, and staff are friendly and attentive. On this visit, we brought our children and decided to try the Teppanyaki table and wow! We were thoroughly entertained by Chef Yam. He was brilliant, entertaining and interactive. He made us all laugh and was the highlight of our visit. Can't recommend Katana Grantham highly enough. We'll be back. Thank you!

Good sushi and they put a lot of effort into providing good service. I wish the fried chicken starter was crispier, although my partner enjoyed it a lot. 2nd visit: the unlimited sushi night on Tuesdays is excellent value for money. The only critical feedback I have is that I’d recommend playing some music to add to the restaurant ambiance. I also would have preferred if our finished plates were cleared from the table instead of piling up as we ordered more food. Otherwise I find they make a great effort with their customer service and I look forward to coming back.

My friends and I decided to come here after a little trip out and I’m so happy we did! It’s a cute restaurant with an amazing staff member. They were helpful with everything and was just overall lovely! The food was to die for! The meatballs were absolutely gorgeous and I may be begging for the recipe. One friend had a pizza and it looked lovely (tasted amazing too!) but said it was very filling lol! Like all the food :) They accommodated to my friends request and her meal looked beautiful (was the pasta w/ chicken but asked for prawns). And the sauce was delicious! So sad I live so far away otherwise I would come back all the time! But I will definitely be back, to try more food. Would definitely recommend this little independent x

Fabulous food and really delightful friendly service. We went for a work Christmas dinner (in Feb) and they comfortably accommodated 11 of us in the bijou space. Well attended throughout the meal with drinks and garlic bread. Every dish was served beautifully, garnished well and presented superbly. The staff/team are absolutely wonderful, ensuring we were happy and content throughout the meal. Check out the photos of a few example dishes we enjoyed.

I had a meal with two friends in Bela's House yesterday. It was so delicious. The vegetarian pasta dish was lovely and the portions are just right. Really nice green wine too . The best I have ever had. Thank you Laura

A little gem in the centre of Grantham - My third or fourth visit to this place over the past fourteen months, and always a warm friendly welcome. The food is always cooked fresh, and delicious, and of good portion size. The Francesinha was just what was needed on a cold winter lunchtime, and if you can still manage it, try one of the fantastic home made desserts.

Beautiful authentic Italian food which is freshly made. The bruschetta was gorgeous and the homemade pesto tasted amazing. Couldn’t fault the pasta or pizza dishes and the pistachio tiramisu was delicious. Staff were friendly and attentive. Will definitely return, just what Grantham needs!

My partner and I visited here twice, both times felt like we had found a hidden gem. The food tasted authentically Italian, with special highlights being the tris bruschetta that had delicious homemade bread, creamy risottos that were rich and flavourful (I had both the speck and mushroom one and the asparagus and almond one, both delicious) and well-recommended wine to complete the set. The portions were huge, perfect for one person but also I split a main into two and still left feeling full. The family running the place were very friendly and attentive, leaving nothing to be desired. Highly recommend!

We were warmly greeted by the family from Calabria who own this authentic Italian bistro. The risotto zafferano, speck e fungi was so divine and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his penne vodka e salmone. We shared a delicious home-made pistachio tart and icecream. The family were lovely to chat with and deserve to do well.

I came with a friend who recommends this family-run Italian restaurant, and indeed, the food is authentically Italian! Everything is freshly made, very good quality, and just delicious. If you're going out with your family or friends, just go and try the food.Don't compare prices with other restaurants because with premium quality food, there is no comparison. They differentiate on quality and authenticity.If you want to have a treat, have a real, delicious treat - one that leaves great memories of food brought over from Italy to Grantham, and genuinely prepared by Italians who are committed to serving you good food.

Fab find! Absolutely 👌🏾 Lovely welcome as we walked in. Great selection on the menu, we went for a set menu which we rarely do but the options were very nice. Recommend the stuffed pepper and mussels to start. Spot on for value for money too. Would definitely visit again 🤤

Such a great find! I’m annoyed I have not come here sooner. Excellent food, excellent wine, and Flavio adds the friendly warmth that makes little restaurants like this so special. There is nowhere in Lincolnshire that I have had better seafood than this.

2nd time we’ve been. Friendly family run little restaurant. Amazing food. Freshly cooked to order so obviously there was a wait, but it was well worth it. We left feeling well fed. It was superb and we will be back. Thank you everyone

**Review: A Seafood Lover's Delight** This restaurant is a true gem! The seafood is incredibly fresh and delicious, with highlights like the succulent shrimp and rich clam chowder. The staff are wonderfully friendly and attentive, ensuring a top-notch dining experience.

We ordered the monster platter along with a swordfish dish and they did not disappoint. By far the best and freshest seafood I’ve had in a long time! The owner was a delight, very attentive and lovely to chat with.

The atmosphere was amazing! It was warm, there was a rustic-vibe with the decoration that is surrounded all around you. There is Italian music playing and the service was so warm and welcoming. The staff were friendly and they efficiently served our food and also took away food in a neat manner. If we were not able to finish all the food, we were allowed to take it all home as well. We did end up staying over their closing time but the staff were so patient and kind to us. Thank you for the immaculate atmosphere and service as well as delicious and satisfying dishes!!

Fantastic family meal, the food is as always delicious and the service is excellent, we love eating here, for us it’s the best restaurant in Grantham. Try the steak with Gorgonzola sauce, amazing.

We've been to many restaurants, we know a good one when we see it. The food, the service, the experiance - here they all exceeded expectations. Simply one of the best neighbourhood restaurants I have been to in a very long time. Check out my reviews - its not often I leave a review so glowing, but this restaurant, although not as glitzy as some in my other reviews is one of my favourites in the last 5 years. Food is authentic and tasty, well cooked and reasonably priced. If you are nearby - try it - you won't be disappointed. Bravo!

At first glance this quaint place can seem a little unassuming from across the street, but upon entering you're met with an inviting atmosphere with continent transporting decor, making you forget where you are once the door is closed behind you. Our time here was a delight, having been our first authentic Italian restaurant, we were unsure how we'd find it but by the end we were more than satisfied. The service was brilliant, having been looked after very well by the magnetic owner and her lovely staff, the food was rich and presented well alongside some very fitting music to complete the experience. We will return.

We decided to try Namaste after historically using both Everest and Gurkha Square but after recent delays and getting orders wrong for deliveries we decided to change. The food is brilliant and a great choice from the menu. We have just had another takeaway tonight and it was just as good. This is def our new go to restaurant for Indian food in Grantham. So enamored was I by the food and service that I found myself returning not once, but twice during my stay. A nice place for our Christmas party. Food was reasonably priced, served in a good timely manner. Worth popping along for a bite to eat and a drink.

The food was excellent with generous portion sizes. The octopus was cooked to perfection—tender and not chewy at all. The fish was both flavorful and tender, a truly delightful experience! The oysters were slightly small but still tasty.

Lovely dog friendly cafe with nice coffee, nice cakes and tasty food. I had the pulled pork and cheese baguette, which was splendid! Good value too… coffee, cake, baguette and fries, eating in, for a little over £15. There was more than one happy customer too! 🙂👍😂

Attended a wonderful Vegan Menu Tater evening at Finkins. A wide and varied selection of tasty creative and enjoyable vegan alternatives to meat/fish dishes. The staff were friendly and the evening was a lot of fun. Would recommend

Beautiful service today! Soph was amazing and checked on us to make sure we had all we need. Myself and hubby came for dinner to celebrate our first anniversary. We had our newborn with us, they were able to accommodate us with a big pram in a very comfortable place away from the door. The door was exquisite, the steak was so juicy Olga has done so well! Desert was also yummy.
