We absolutely love this place. Very friendly service and just incredible food. Try to go once a week if time allows. Our children even ask to come here now. The coffee is to die for! Best breakfast in Stevenage 🙏🏻 Went again today 16/3/25 - still as amazing as when it first opened. Superb food and incredible coffee.

Lolo’s Cafe Bistro - A Local Gem Lolo’s Cafe Bistro is hands down our favorite local spot! I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal here, and trust me, I’ve had plenty. At one point, I was having more breakfasts here than at home in a week—that’s how much I love their food! My husband swears by their shakshuka, which is always packed with flavor, while I’m completely obsessed with their French toast. Honestly, I’ve never had better French toast anywhere else—it’s just perfect every time! The team at Lolo’s is another reason we keep coming back. They’re always so friendly and warm, making every visit feel like a treat. What truly stands out is the quality of their food—everything is freshly cooked and consistently high-quality. Whether it’s a cozy breakfast or a leisurely brunch, Lolo’s never disappoints. Highly recommend!

I have visited this place twice and would rate my overall experience 3.5/5. The food is freshly cooked and tastes really nice. The vegetarian breakfast is a good option. However, the food is highly expensive, which makes it more suitable for special occasions rather than regular visits. The atmosphere is pleasant but can get quite noisy, especially on Saturday mornings when it’s very busy. The staff are somewhat supportive, but I couldn’t find any option to pre-book online, which would have been helpful. Overall, it’s a decent spot for a treat, but the high cost and noise level might make it less appealing for casual visits.

Our waitress was lovely, thank you Emilie ☺️ It was 2 for 1 cocktails, which was great. Also accepted tastecard so had 25% off the bill. Food was lovely. Really great they offer vegan crackers. Love the banana fritter dessert!

Good choices for vegans and meat eaters. They even have vegan dessert options other than sorbet or fruit salad! The atmosphere was great. The staff were friendly and helpful. The drinks were great value for money 2-4-1. I would definitely recommend.

Great service - and the food was generally delicious, but my massaman curry was not as good as some I have had. We came in for Mothers Day and the celebratory cocktail for mum was very tasty she said. The banana chocolate fudge cake went down quickly and the sorbets were good. . Serina was our server and was brilliant. Very cheerful, attentive and efficient. Everything we asked for arrived promptly and accurately. We will come back!

Most of the dishes had niste taste, i didn't liked the noodles, seems tastless somehow, and for me actually these were having an even worse taste, but can be very subjective, as I am a fussy eater. Anyway, the manager and all the staff was very polite, interested to hear your opinion, and everything that they could to make you feel welcomed. Nice place to come.

We went to Smoke for my birthday and were absolutely blown away by the food. We shared a platter - which included wings, pulled pork, burnt ends, brisket, ribs, sausage, beans, and incredible Texas toast - and had loaded fries, and burgers for the kids. It was incredibly delicious, and was as good, if not better as BBQ food we've had in Texas itself. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It's an outdoor venue, but they provided blankets, and we didn't feel cold at all. We will be back!

Didn’t realise this place existed until last week but couldn’t wait to try it out. Went today and was not disappointed! The food was amazing, super soft brisket, incredible pulled pork and amazing sausage. The whole platter was just delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try the burgers. Oh, and their home made bbq sauce was incredible! Staff were very friendly and welcoming, took extra care with a gluten intolerance so we didn’t need to worry. Did not expect to find a smokehouse like this in Stevenage but so glad we have it now. Can’t wait to go back!

The food and service were both great, first time going and the staff were friendly and helpful happy to answer any questions. The food was amazing, so tender and juicy, chips and bread were my favorites. The decor is lovely but the whole experience is pretty much outdoor, to my surprise blankets are dotted around to help which I loved as you don't see this anywhere else. I'm looking forward to my second visit. Big thanks to the staff for making it a great end to a lovely day

What a lovely spot! Went to Stevenage to collect a car and decided to stop on the high street for a quick bite and we were not disappointed. Service was excellent, food was awesome and the decor / set up is really lovely. Toilets were spotless too which is always a bonus!!! Easy 5 star rating from me!!! Thank you!

I came here with a friend for a meet up and a little hang out. She had heard of it and thought it looked amazing and honestly it was! The food was fantastic, it tasted amazing, my friend and I had a starter each as well as a main and a few cocktails too. It was absolutely fantastic. The only issue I have is the server who served us. At first he was amazing, attentive and overall just fantastic but once we finished our mains and sent for the bill we asked if we could split it: for what I had and what my friend had. He asked if we could figure it out and sort it out between ourselves, this wasn't something we minded as not everyone can remember what a customer has eaten. Once we sorted it out we paid, and everything was fine. I went to finish my drink whilst my friend used the bathroom, however the person who had been serving us just started to stare and watch me as I drank. It was a little bit creepy and me and my friend ended up leaving whilst feeling a little bit uncomfortable. A bit of a bad ending to what was a fantastic experience.

Visited today with family for dinner. Lived in Stevenage all my life and tried many a restaurant but not one like this! The food, the service, the atmosphere. It was one of the best meals I have had in a long time. This is a place I will definitely be returning to! Thank you to all the staff for providing such an amazing experience!!

I planned a surprise 30th birthday party at The Fisherman last weekend, and the staff could not have been more helpful! Scott and his team went above and beyond to help me make a truly memorable birthday party. They were great at accommodating all requests I had, and with a smile. We made use of the conservatory and garden and everyone was really happy - 5 stars, totally recommend 😁

Came here for a Disney themed bottomless brunch event and had a great time! I love the way they handled the bottomless element by keeping jugs of the cocktails on the table. I also appreciate that the staff called me the day before the event to discuss my request for a dairy free meal. Really made me feel like they cared about my experience!

Had a big birthday there a week ago. Venue was fantastic. Staff were brilliant serving a packed party. I asked for their help twice and they were quick to help. Toilets were super clean and when a friend spilled her drink in one, it was cleaned up within a heartbeat. The food looked amazing (premium package)! I was told was it tasty but unfortunately, I didn’t manage to get any as I was busy with my friends! 🤣 Great idea to use the upstairs of Cinnabar and would highly recommend. Luke’s communication via email was second to none and Jack was in charge during the evening, he was brilliant!

One of the best bottomless brunches I’ve been to. So well organised - our glasses were never empty! The food was delicious and great value. The performer was fabulous. My only note would be that the music played between the performances could have included more Taylor Swift songs, as that was the theme for the brunch. A really fun experience!

The staff are so lovely here which makes all the difference. Food is good and standard wagas. Toilets are clean. I love that we can pay on the app. Nothing worse than feeling trapped to leave waiting for a card machine!

Hello, it was the first time I had food at Vagamama Stevenage. I was very impressed by the very good taste of the food. The waiting time was very good, the staff was friendly, the atmosphere was good. I want to add that the menu was very rich in quantity compared to other locations. Anyway, my wife was very satisfied, plus we were celebrating a special event and we did not leave disappointed but very satisfied.

Absolutely loved our experience here this evening. It was the first time we’ve been out since last year and we were celebrating my wife’s belated birthday so went all out on the sharing experience. The “steaks and dates” menu was a really good mix of options and good value too. We had the côte de boeuf and the steak was juicy and tender with loads of flavour. Now I’m not a desert person but would definitely recommend the Torte, really nicely balanced set of flavours, not too sweet, and great portion size. We were really looked after here tonight, thanks to Mel she waited the right amount of time to come to the table and we’re never rushed nor waiting excessively. She was very friendly and very helpful and we enjoyed her company. St the end she brought out a special desert for my wife for her belated birthday. What a lovely surprise, thanks M&C Stevenage we’ll be returning soon.

Had a lovely meal here for my birthday. Mel was wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and accommodated adjustments to some of our dishes. The food was delicious. I highly recommend the Strawberry Sling-no cocktail and the Carter's signature chocolate bar.

First time back for an off menu experience! Pleasant staff with an attentive smile and demeanor. Nothing rushed. Drinks where prompt and reasonable Starters came quickly and fresh. The main course was excellent and well proportioned. The benefit of a loyalty voucher made the final bill much more palatable.

Been here several times for dinner with my family. Staff are always friendly and food has always been great. Reasonably priced and they have a reward scheme which can give you free cocktails as a welcome & if you keep returning and gaining points, you will get money off food too
