Spotless wine glasses, excellent steak knives and quality food.Both steaks cooked as requested and the sweet potato chips easily worth the extra pound Choice of wines both red and wine limited but selection and prices will please most. My chenin blanc and wife's malbec fine Service from Lauren was attentive, friendly and welcoming. Other staff members also contributed to a leisurely, enjoyable meal out.

I went for an unexpected dinner with friends on Sunday evening. Marion quickly approached us and gave us recommendations on dishes and cocktails. The steaks were delicious, juicy, and tasty! Especially tasty were the spicy prawns, which were personally my favourite. Unfortunately, I didn’t take any pictures as I was too busy eating. Thanks to Marion for the warm, welcoming hospitality. As usual, the atmosphere was great and relaxing—exactly what I needed.

Went here with my girlfriend on the first night of our stay in England, and it did not disappoint. Friendly waitress, good food and great drinks. Worth a try!

Genuinely had a lovely evening here with my family. The venue is modern, clean, full of ambience and they even have a lovely singer / pianist play while you enjoy your meal. The manager is lovely and clearly invested in making sure that everybody’s experience is as good as it can possibly be. The staff are amazing 🥲 very attentive - you were never waiting to get their attention. Rare these days!! The food quality was to a very high standard and not one of our dishes had an issue. I would recommend that everyone comes here! So so so good 😊 5 🌟

It was our first visit to Wood Grill. Very busy being a Saturday night. We were part of a party of 10 people. All having various dishes . The atmosphere was lovely even though busy it had lovely feel to it. I had the hot wings to start followed by Ribeye with cheesecake for pudding. My husband had crispy wings Seabream and Strawberry Sunday. The staff were lovely and friendly the manager was very good observing the restaurant and interacting with staff to ensure customers were happy. Our waitress was such a lovely friendly girl and took the time to engage with members of our table. Our food was lovely my steak cooked to perfection medium rare, my husband Seabream was cooked perfectly. We are 💯 returning and would recommend to friends and family.
