My son has been going to Explore for a year now. When he started, he was very weak with reading, writing and numeracy. It really stressed me out when school told me how behind my son was working. I googled and found Explore Learning. I got him enrolled for English and Maths and showed the managers the reports. My son was in Year 2 at that time. He took two sessions a week and additional sessions during half term. My son started improving right away and I saw a massive difference in his next school report. He scored really well in the final term at school and then went into Year 3. When I saw this improvement, this encouraged me to consider a grammar school to challenge my son. I booked a test with the grammar school. My son passed the test in the first go with flying colours! This gave me more confidence and prompted me to write this review. It’s a good tuition, every tutor is nice, hardworking, and respectful and gives loads of support. As today i did leave this tuition and they actually gave me a standing ovation for everything I’ve done for them. I want to thank the management team, and the tutors helping me with my gcse work and their hardwork. LBC tuition has made a tremendous impact on my daughter’s SPAG and reading comprehension. Over the past few months, my daughter’s confidence has really improved, she found the classes to be enjoyable and very helpful indeed. As a result, she scored highly in her SATs.

My daughter has autism and is significantly behind in her learning. I trialled many places to find somewhere suitable to try and fill some of the gaps in her learning. Only LBC were able to accommodate my daughter and adapt the sessions to meet her needs. They were very knowledgeable and you can tell they have a lot of experience in tutoring children with special needs. They even have a breakout space for my daughter to go to when she requires a break. I couldn’t be happier that I finally found a place that caters to my daughters needs!

My son has been studying with LBC to get ready for his Maths GCSEs. He has made so much progress already with the support of the tutor. The sessions are a mixture of revising topics and exam practice which have been so helpful and well planned out. We couldn’t be happier this service.

My son is sitting his GCSEs next year and started with LBC in September. He’s has improved grades I'm sure he is going to improve more. I cannot recommend Sannah enough. She has been working with my eldest son on his GCSE maths and has proved invaluable in giving him that extra confidence and ability to perform to his highest standard. I have also started to use Sannah for my son who started in year 7 for extra English coaching in September, which has been a great boost and both him and his teacher have already noticed a difference.

Sannah has been helping my 7 year old since July 2020 we decided to get a tutor as our son was struggling with his grammar and handwriting in the lockdown.Our son struggled to engage with any work with ourselves and the parent child battles were overwhelming for us all. Sannah was recommended by a friend she has been amazing my son has really benefitted from having her lessons once a week his writing is now unrecognisable to what it was and his is using more vocabulary in his writing and storytelling. My son's class teacher recently gave me feedback that she can tell his tutor is good as often children who have extra support via tutors outside school do not transfer what they have learned into the classroom but my son has and she can see a big difference in his English since September. My son recently won a school star award for his creative writing in school. Sannah is very flexible and patient with my son and has adapted his lessons to his individual needs. We recently asked Sannah to start helping our son with spellings again Sannah adapted the lessons to focus on this and has used different aids to make this interesting for our son. Can not recommended Sannah enough as a private tutor she is fantastic and her prices are fair too.

It was a pleasure to support the EducateFirst learning initiative in 2023-24. The team working hard behind the scenes and also the manager ensure academic and social wellbeing of students that attend the tuition. Where conventional online tuition is both expensive and feels distant, an in-person learning environment at EducateFirst goes a long way to aid a child in their academics, at a fraction of cost. I would highly encourage enrolling of students for the 2024-25 academic year.

I have tried tutors at home and other learning centres but this centre is much better. I was not expecting much from this tuition centre mainly because of the low price and I had not heard of them but I was quite happy with what I got in the end. I would say this is a really good way to get private tuition for your kids without burning a hole in your wallet. The kids enjoy it and it is great to see them finally learn something at a proper tuition centre.

The teachers here are amazing. My daughter got 2 A* in Bio & Chemistry and an A in Physics. Highly reccomend this place for tuition. So happy with the GCSE results.

I did some research and visited a few private tutoring centres before discovering Grade Up. When I met Atta, I had many questions about how he delivers the classes. My son came here for extra help on Maths GCSE as he needed a grade 5 to get into the course he had chosen but in his mock exams he kept getting a 3. After joining this place his next set of mock exams he jumped to a grade 4 and now he has got his actual results for GCSE and he has Ma Sha Allah smashes it with a grade 5 which was the highest he could get.
