My daughter has been having lessons with Chris for over a year and we couldn’t be happier. She’s learnt so much. His style of teaching is so open and relaxed, allowing the student to go at their own pace without pressure. My daughter loves the fact that she’s learning to play guitar by playing the songs she loves. She’s even asked for specific songs and, if Chris doesn’t already have them available, he’s created them before her next lesson. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a guitar tutor.

My daughter is 11 and has been going to Chris for her guitar 🎸 lessons for about 9 months. She has never stuck with anything except this, she really enjoys her lessons, Chris makes it fun and easy to understand. I would definitely recommend Chris to anybody wanting to learn to play the guitar.

I've been having weekly lessons with Chris for just over 4 months now having previously tried to self-teach guitar many years ago. Not only does Chris try to tailor your learning experience around music and songs that you enjoy, he provides a hands-on method of learning intent on getting you playing the songs you love and enjoy as quickly as possible. Extremely patient and supportive with beginners from personal experience and the tips/tricks he provides when you are having difficulty with specific parts of songs are so incredibly useful. Can't recommend enough, regardless of experience, if you're in the area and looking to learn give Chris a shout.

Booked lessons for my son with Chris a year and a half ago, his former tutor had stopped lessons and he was looking for someone he would enjoy teaching him electric guitar. We tried a few others before, which didn't work out. Chris was friendly and approachable, his lessons are very well organised and structured around achieving the goals you want to reach. My son has progressed really well under the guidance of Chris, gaining distinctions in all his exams and has really enjoyed going to lessons and improving his guitar skills and technique.
