I highly recommend taking private lessons with Shine Tutors. L. is an amazing tutor and very professional. She helped my child to reach another level indeed and prepared him so well. He enjoyed her class so much. Shine tutors accurately identified my child's strengths and weaknesses so they could work on them effectively. The methods used are perfectly aligned with the tests, and the follow-up and correction of exercises are consistent. Thanks to the weekly follow up with a lot of good learning homeworks material our child succeeded in all his 11+ exams. It's hard work and effort at first but it all pays off. He got offered a place at Tiffin in the first round as well as other independent schools such as Hampton Boys including Upper Latymer scholarships. We are so grateful for the outstanding work L. has done to stretch our child and accompany him with consistent diligent work to succeed in his exams. Lynnette provides an excellent structured setting whereby most of the class gain top school offers. The extra focus and individual feedback that Lynnette provides in the run up to key exams made us feel confident of success. You know it’s good if they miss the lessons long after the exams are over!

Bilal is literally a miracle science tutor. My daughter had spent several months with another tutor who let her down and I then came across Bilal. Bilal is an excellent science teacher. He has a relax teaching approach but very effective. He is flexible with class timings to support my son who has 6 days school. Sarah is a great maths teacher. Although my daughter attended her lessons for only 3 / 4 months, she loved going to her classes and was able to learn a lot. Sarah has the ability to realise children’s potential and enciurages them to reach their goals.

Elliot has been a huge help to my children sitting their GCSE sciences. He is engaging in all aspects, the kids love him and find his teaching style hugely beneficial. He is also so helpful with revision techniques. I cannot recommend Elliot more highly.

My daughter had a poor start to Triple Science GCSE, her teacher was newly qualified and sacked by the end of Year 10. So, come Year 11, there was a lot of ground to cover. Elliott was recommended by a colleague. From the very first Zoom meeting, he has been exceptional. Immediately he identified Nell’s gaps, strengths and weaknesses and was able to deliver engaging, coherent and meaningful sessions to meet her needs and help her make progress. He has excellent subject knowledge, is super organised, encouraging and supportive. His delivery is warm and enthusiastic…Nell didn’t once complain about having a session with him (a miracle), her confidence grew and dare I say it, she even looked forward to his sessions! Elliott kept me in the loop regarding next steps for Nell and emailed exam papers and advice as her exams approached. Whatever grades Nell achieves will be largely down to Elliott. My only regret is we didn’t find him sooner.

My son was struggling with A Level Chemistry having only got a C in his mocks. He needed an A to get into UCL to study medicine. We needed a tutor to improve my son’s exam technique and get him enjoying chemistry again. I can’t recommend Genius Tutoring Services enough. I needed a tutor for my son’s A’level RE as he was having difficulty formulating his essays. Elliott searched around and found the perfect tutor, Anna Bodziony. She was kind and patient and boosted my son’s confidence no end. He was just scraping a C grade but with Anna’s help, achieved a B. Having decided we would like the help of a tutor for our daughter for her GCSEs we were a little lost, but thankfully found Tahir! He is a lovely, calm and patient tutor who on a 1 to 1 basis was excellent our daughter. James helped with maths to my sister nice and clear so she could understand. Tremendous help with short notice and wajeeha was very friendly which made it very easy to arrange the sessions.

I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. Within days from joining Champions Tuition my son became very responsible about his homework and his goals (passing his exams to secondary school). Anpu the founder of Champions Tuition has outstanding pedagogical and pastoral skills. The children respond to him very well and he certainly knows how to motivate them. The same can be said about the whole team of tutors at Champions Tuition. Champions Tuition also offers online classes which is very convenient if you are not local or unable to take your child to the class on a certain day. The curriculum covered during tuition is tailor made for the children's level and prepares them thoroughly for specific exams, e.g. in our case 11+ and private schools entry exams. The choice of teaching resources is second to none. The children practice using previous years' exams papers from the best grammar schools in England. The tutors also recommend extra books and learning resources. They take a lot of care in ensuring that the child makes a steady progress. Each homework is marked and discussed with the child. The children need to present corrections of their work to the tutor, which helps them consolidate their knowledge. A detailed feedback is given to the parents after each lesson. I highly recommend Champions Tuition, especially to parents whose children want to take 11+ and other entry exams on different levels. After visiting several 11+ tutors in the area, we came across Champions Tuition. After a short introduction which included their business aims and their teaching methods, we decided to go with them.
