I cannot ask for more than a fantastic tutor. They are beautifully teaching my daughter what to expect in her year group. They know what to expect in SATS exams and teach accordingly. The tutor is adjusting according to our flexible time. I can ask them to teach if my child is weak in any topic and they are happy to teach over again. I am highly impressed by Kumon Addlestone. My six year old son has been studying English with the centre for less than a year and his progress has been phenomenal - particularly his handwriting and reading. Cara, the manager, is attentive and conscientious. Following an initial discussion with myself, she assessed my son and picked up very quickly his strengths/weaknesses and tailored the starting point of the scheme to him. Since then she, and her team, have kept a close eye on him, reporting to us when they feel he is ready to progress up a level and supporting him with a calm and highly effective style. My wife and I are both trained teachers and have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Kumon and, in particular, the Addlestone franchise to any parent who wants to support their child's English skills. We are hoping to start our younger son on the scheme within the next year - which really says it all! Many thanks indeed to Cara and all of the Addlestone team.

My child has been attending Kumon for Maths for a few months now, and we’ve seen incredible progress. The worksheets are challenging yet manageable, and they help build both confidence and problem solving skills. The instructors, especially Bhavika, are so supportive and are always available to address any concerns and tailor worksheets as appropriate. My child has developed a stronger work ethic and is understanding concepts at a pace that suits them. Their confidence has really grown. Overall, Kumon has been a great experience and I highly recommend it to other parents!

I can’t recommend Explore Learning more highly. My experience so far is of a place that builds confidence, offers tailored support in small groups, is flexible, understanding and nurturing. With regular progress meetings, and parent portals you can keep track of any areas which need more help, as well as access additional learning for home. Mrs Catherine is the best and fantastic teacher for little kids who like to play. She structures her lessons in such way that the kids feel like they move from one game to another. A few weeks later they can read and count with great confidence they didn't have before. If you are lucky and get a place in Mrs Catherine's diary, make sure to hold your child's hand firmly on your way to Mrs Catherine - the kids usually run full speed towards her house in anticipation of a great fun lesson. 😀
