Noton replaced our gas boiler and upgraded three rads in one day, just before the snow came. Friendly, polite, reliable, efficient, competent and tidy service from Tom and the team and very pragmatic advice....and the same price as the online faceless companies but with more flexibility. Much rather give our money to a local firm to keep for this sort of job than have the big firms cream off their percentage.

Commissioned Notons to remove an old gravity.fed water system, cylinder and gas boiler, and fit a economical gas ch/hw system. Work started on the date arranged and finished within three days, with either two or three of the brothers on site at all times. Plenty of good advice was given along the way, along with consultation on how best to run new gas piping in our Grade II* listed home. The brothers are first class workers, friendly, tidy and polite. We're very happy with the work carried out on time and to budget, plus a couple of small general plumbing fixes added while they were here. Recommend strongly - and a big thank you to Team Noton!

Mark and Jack were brilliant, responding swiftly to our call for help when the heating system recently packed up in this cold weather. They gave really good advice and made very helpful suggestions which made loads of sense in order to sort the problems out. Thanks lads. Very professional, knowledgable and thorough. Just had a bathroom completely refitted by Lauren after being recommended to her by a friend.. She and her team absolutely know their stuff and nothing was too much trouble. The job was very reasonably priced with high quality fittings. Felt totally confident in her from the first moment and we are absolutely thrilled with the results. Just booked her for a second bathroom revamp, the first was so good ! Highly recommend!

Lauren came to replace a bath that a cowboy had left us with, it didn’t look like the easiest job but Lauren made a fantastic job of it and repaired the toilet too. She was very professional and had excellent communication. I would definitely recommend and would have her back again in the future if I need anymore plumbing work doing. It felt so much more comfortable having a female plumber in the house than when I have previously had male plumbers. Thanks again Lauren!!

Lauren and the Team have recently replaced out main bathroom and ensuite and have done an amazing job. Lauren made the whole process so easy. We were sent photos so that we could choose what we wanted. Everything was delivered to the house on the day work started. There was a supplier issue with the bath and this was rectified immediately. The work is of an extremely high standard and the team would leave things as tidy as possible at the end of each day. I cannot recommend them enough and will certainly be using them for any plumbing work I need to do in the future. Thank you Lauren and the Team.

Matt fitted me a new boiler in my loft area, which involved a lot of pipe work, from the change from old boiler in the previous kitchen space, a new logic combi boiler with halo. Because Matt did this job in good time this meant I was able to push on with my kitchen upgrade. A quality job and again very happy with the finished result. Will use Matt again for all future plumbing work required. Matt also fitted my bathroom and did all the tiling work - and did a great job, the finished look I am very happy with. Not an easy task for the tiling, as I chose small Metro tiles, so there was a lot of work to do to get these on the wall and grouted. Again, extremely pleased with the finished result and look.

I cannot recommend these people highly enough. After a consultation and quote from the manager, Dan, the team came a few days later and removed, under very difficult circumstances, an old Rayburn-fired gas central heating system and replaced it with a modern Combi-boiler. I was very impressed with all the lads and their level of expertise and professionalism and lack of fuss or mess. Well done to all concerned!!

I had an intermittent fault with my boiler causing it to fail occasionally obviously not easy to diagnose PPS engineers attended very quickly and had it sorted within an hour. Very reasonable charge too. I am a happy customer and wouldn't hesitate to recommend PPS Installations

We used Etta for installation of 2 new radiators. Fantastic service and detailed surveying of the best way to complete the job. Costs were detailed and upfront. Fantastic communication from Steve and the guys who came to do the job were spot on. Steve has also taken out of hours phone calls to get my heating system back up and running after a valve failed(not related to the installation). Highly recommend using Etta.

I have used Etta Plumbing for my boilers annual service for the past 3 years and have this week had to call them as my boiler developed a problem leaving me with no heating / hot water when temperatures were well below freezing. I thought there would be no hope of getting an engineer out quickly but they managed to get out to fix the boiler the same day despite evidently being extremely busy. I can't fault their service or the helpfulness of Jim or Marc.

We would highly recommend Etta. They have been looking after our central heating for some years now but this winter the boiler reported a fault and stopped working. Our system is old with various alterations and accessibility problems which meant that the cause of the problem took a lot of finding. However, Etta's excellent heating engineers were not to be defeated. Although the boiler was failing to work it was actually the pump that was at fault. We now have a fully working system with a new pump. Thank you Etta for getting to the bottom of the problem and not jumping to conclusions and unnecessarily replacing the boiler.

A touch better than excellent - what a decent professional plumber which clearly knows his stuff. Installed a new boiler at a fair price. It took two days but we didn’t go without hot water overnight. This was not the first time he has helped us out. Removed and refitted new radiators when having re-plastering done - all without a hitch. Thanks Dave, most reassuring. Anyone considering a plumber should have no worries about calling Dave Barber.

We had a problem with the downstairs toilet tank filling too high and leaking but also the water was hot. Dave had a look and diagnosed the problem as the connection for the toilet was to the hot water and had to re-pipe this correctly. Also the cup float/fill valve in the tank was replaced so we now have a much better functioning toilet fill valve. All in all the service was great, the problems corrected, done at a very good price and Dave is a really pleasant person. After looking for plumbers on Google, I read reviews on Mercury Plumbing & Heating and I am glad that I did. Would highly recommend to anyone.

We had David to come and plumb two new radiators in, service our boiler and put new thermostatic valves on current radiators. He arrived on time, he is very friendly and knowledgeable and completed the job professionally. He left the house as he found it and every where was clean and tidy. MB Plumbing did an excellent job replacing a boiler at very short notice. The new boiler was fitted the next working day without any fuss or mess. I was very pleased with the price and the new boiler is almost silent - well worth the investment. I feel extremely satisfied to have received the same high standards of work that would be expected from the likes of British Gas, with the same level of manufacturer's warranty, but with a more personal, honest touch and without the over-inflated prices. I wouldn't hesitate to use MB Plumbing again and would recommend highly to others.
