The locking mechanism had broken down in my kitchen door. I contacted Greenstone Locksmiths in Belper and spoke to George who came out and put in a new mechanism. George is very friendly, efficient and professional and I was informed of the pricing throughout which pleased me. I was very satisfied with the service. I will definitely use them again and I will recommend them as well.

Took my Doctor Marten platform sole boots in to Greenstones for repair. The sole was completely split. I had already had them returned by an accredited Doc Marten repair company saying they couldn't do anything. Greenstones managed to replace the sole and it looks fab! I'm so happy. My favourite pair of boots are now ready for new adventures when I thought all they were ready for was the bin! Fantastic job. The young lads in the shop, George and Patrick were brilliant. We required a spare ignition key for our Nissan, adjustments to internal door mechanisms, a new internal extra door bolt ( key coded) because my husband has dementia and xould leave the house at night. He came out as one of our internal doors was jammed , with a staff member and client inside the room…….. turns out the lock had popped and jammed in the process, George was with me within 30 minutes, managed to open the door and replace the lock , there was no damage to the door and he knew exactly what he was doing and was very professional ….. highly recommend, thank you George for rescuing us x

We recently moved to Belper and George from Greenstone changed our ancient front door lock, meticulously repairing the excess space left by the modern fittings so we can paint it. Looks good as new. An absolutely perfect job and we now have British Standard locks which will bring down our insurance premium. He also installed thumb bolts so we can get out safely should any emergency arise. Being in a very old cottage, this has made us feel much safer. If you want a perfectionist who respects your property and is really lovely, we highly recommend Greenstone. We also popped into the shop on King Street and had extra keys cut for the family. Brilliant job.
