My son will startJunior Academy here and the Pro - Sam was wonderful with him for the trial as my little boy was so nervous. He could not have been happier and didnt want to leave! Great course, great facilities and easy to find.

We had our wedding at the Royal Mid Surrey Golf Club on 2nd September 2023 and what a brilliant choice that was. Emma, Marcin, Kenga and the whole team worked around the clock to make our event well and truly special. They were very accomodating and the guests all had a fantastic time. We could have not simply have asked for anything more.

Booked this for my boyfriend (who is golf obsessed) for his birthday and he absolutely loved it! Amazing service from the minute we walked in & was both given a free birthday shot which was a nice touch. The golf simulators were great & had the lunch- chicken wrap and beef sliders- was amazing! Good choice of beers/ciders, thanks again!

Really lovely course, well kept. Would of given 5 stars if bunkers were proper sand. Most are dirt. Very challenging course, narrow fairways. Greens are perfect. They spray them to make them look extra green. Very hilly course so you have to be fit if walking! Buggies available. Good choice of food extensive menu. Staff all round are friendly and helpful. Definitely be playing here again.

Amazing! We held a large charity golf day and everyone went out of their way before and during the event to ensure it was a success. Wonderful venue, staff, food and facilities. Special thanks to Shula, Megan and Steve

We had our wedding reception here and it was the most amazing venue. The stunning views will take your breath away and the staff are incredible. They were so attentive, kind, polite and were genuinely happy to be there throughout our day. We also must take the time to thank Shula for all of the support and guidance she gave us, she is a true superstar and a real asset to West Essex Golf Club. This venue is perfect for a wedding reception (or any celebration) that will truly make your day that bit more special!

Best condition I've seen the course in. Fabulous half way hut with home made Yummies. Great food in clubhouse.

Great course well looked after in excellent condition have quite a few long holes would go back again.

Food is very good and pleasant staff.Week days does a two/three courses at great prices.Would definitely recommend for a special event or just lunch.

Hainault has two courses both of which have challenging holes. Greens are generally pretty good but the bunkers need some sand!!! It’s a shame ALL players don’t repair pitch marks to help the green keepers

After years of disappointment searching for a decent Sunday roast in Wanstead, we’ve finally found the perfect spot! Following some recommendations, we finally tried the Sunday roast at Wanstead Golf Club-and it was absolutely delicious. We sampled lamb, beef, and chicken, accompanied by a side of cauliflower cheese (highly recommended!), and it quickly became one of the best roasts we’ve ever enjoyed. The quality was excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the staff incredibly friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making for a truly enjoyable afternoon. We can’t recommend this place enough and are already looking forward to our next visit. A big congratulations to the club-there are many great things happening here!

Good, central(ish) London golf club. Played on a day with great weather, but the course was in good shape, greens running well and fairways maintained. Holes are a decent mix of styles too, plus good clubhouse with nets and putting/chipping greens. Slight issues with foxes in and around the clubhouse, so you need to be careful where you leave your bag when having a drink afterwards!

The Stables restaurant has a great menu and breakfast options and good coffee. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Nice change from the High Street, definitely worth a try.

Lovely place, lovely staff, very friendly and helpful, lovely food and a lovely golf course. A very pleasant day.

Great for my boys to let off some steam after school. Buy unlimited balls for an hour and they can chase monsters around the course with their balls :) needs advertising more though as without being told by a friend, I'd never have known how much fun it could be. Could also have food and drink whilst watching. Perfect :)

Great place for a round of golf ⛳️ Driving range is probably the best one I've been to. Friendly staff and a large selection of food and drink delivered straight to your table. We were able to stay outside enjoying the nice weather without running the risk of loosing your seat. Tables cleared regularly and I felt nothing was too much trouble for the staff.

Some interesting holes and some not so interesting. Great club house and food menu. Staff are always very helpful and friendly.

It's a short course with numerous doglegs and tricky greens. Great hospitality led by Debbie and her team. I would play it again.

Such a lovely Golf Club very well run can’t go wrong we do a networking event every morning on a Friday and we’re so well looked after

Staff were really nice First time at this course. Grounds were decent for new golfers. Bit hard to tell the different between green and rough and ground was a bit soggy. But overall from the price to the difference in tees it’s great value for money. Staff also super nice.

After a few days of rain, the greens and fairways are in very good condition

Played this course a few times now and find it an enjoyable one. Is a rather flat course. A couple of holes do go downhill but not many climbs, which for a old unfit bloke like me a great. It does have a few challenging holes. Not many bunkers which bizarrely enough I find sad despite not being able to play them well. Decently priced as well.
