Lawrence and team were a great choice to carry out the supply and install of my solar batteries and car charger. Did their homework on products and my requirements and then came and went efficiently and ensured I knew what I was doing once they'd left! Having used Laurence, Steve and Ollie for a number of years across a few different projects, I was thrilled when Laurence mentioned he offered solar panel and battery services now. We have just had 15 panels and 2 batteries installed into a property in Maidstone by Laurence and the team and it's all gone in perfectly. They have great customer care and a good attention to detail. 10/10 - highly recommend.

From design to install Josh was knowledgeable, professional and helpful. I can't recommend him highly enough. Josh and team connected my garden office to the house mains electricity supply & ethernet point (some 30metres from the house). He installed several sockets within the garden room, a light track with spotlights, outdoor lights, a motion sensor activated flashlight and watertight outdoor plugs.

So impressed with Josh and his team. They have treated our renovation project as if it were their own home - with the upmost respect, knowledge and care. And so tidy! Josh has tested our electrics, designed and rewired, installed lights throughout and set up security cameras. Couldn’t be in safer hands and he has perfectly advised throughout the project. Looking forward to having them back once we have built the extension!

Professional and knowledgeable. They listened to what I wanted my solar system for in addition to supplying electricity and charging up batteries - which was to supply power during a power cut and to heat the hot water and then made it happen with great attention to detail. I am very happy with my system and would highly recommend the company. David and Philip always responded quickly to any queries I had, and the team were careful and considerate working in and around the house.

Phil & David were great. They listened to what I wanted and discussed all the options and kept me up to date at each step. Their work was tidy and professional. They updated my House and my Garage Distribution boxes and run a new cable between them then installed my new Zappi EV charger integrating it with my existing Solar Panels. Baird and Brown have been brilliant from start to finish. We wanted a ground mounted system a little way from the house, so it was a slightly complicated ask. Philip and David have been so helpful, professional and a pleasure to deal with throughout. There was absolutely no pressure to go for expensive options, in fact the reverse. They talked through the choices with us, always responded promptly to our questions, and found clever solutions to any difficulties. The work on site is neat, well set out, and the system just works - exactly what we wanted! We are very pleased with it.

Baird and Brown quoted me for a complete solar pv with battery storage system in April, with the installation completed at the end of June. The whole process was faultless from start to finish. Being a large investment, I had a LOT of questions and Philip was more than happy to answer them. I requested several quotes with different numbers of panels inverter and battery size, Philip worked out what would work best with my usage, without wasting money on too large a system that wouldn't give viable returns. My roof is East/West facing and I opted for 10.2kw of solar with 12 panels facing in each direction, I also have 10kw of battery storage, with a 6kw inverter and opted for the solar iboost, for hot water via the immersion. Philip completed all the paperwork for the dno application, and submitted the certification so I could get my smart export set up with the new supplier almost straight away. Philip and Dave worked really hard through a very hot week during installation, set up was explained, work was neat and I am one very happy customer, with a system that is performing exceptionally well. Baird and Brown is a local company covering the South East, who show care and proffesionalism, with the personal touch, you don't get from the big players, so highly recommended.

I’ve had a solar panel and battery installation for some years but I didn’t have a way of diverting excess power to the immersion heater in my hot water tank. I discussed options with Mark just over a year ago. He recommended an Eddi, which he fitted the following week. With 12 months experience, I can say that this was a very good call. I rarely use any gas at all during the summer now and the system has behaved perfectly. Mark can monitor it remotely, so any problem would show up straight away. I’m thus very confident about the system itself and Mark’s installation of it, which, by the way, took less than a morning and was achieved without any fuss at all.

I asked Dave to install spotlights and an extractor fan in my bathroom. Dave came round and provided a free quote for works and even advised me to install fewer spotlights that I thought I’d need and saved me money. Dave was knowledgeable in relation to the different types of extractor fans on the market. I’d definitely use his services and would recommend for sure.

Dave and his team worked like troopers from the minute they arrived to leaving, often only stopping to drink a brew thrust upon them. Dave/Down 2 Earth electrical was absolutely brilliant! I honestly could not recommend him enough for any electrical work you need doing in your home. I had some outside lighting installed that has completely transformed my home. All my friends I’ve shown can’t believe the difference it has made. He initially came round and gave a really helpful consultation where I explained what I wanted, he gave lots of really useful advice on the kind of lighting I needed to achieve what I wanted and then on the day the work was done he completed the job to a high standard.
