I arrived at Bassingbourn Garage with a flat tyre. They were mega busy, but one of the mechanics came out, had a look and said it was a puncture, probably from a pothole. An hour later I drove away with a "repaired" tyre. What a Community based garage it is!! Thank you.

Excellent garage! Booked car in for clutch and exhaust manifold for around £750 and they done the work in one day. They also fixed the battery clamp and other bits they had come across in the process and it wasn't until months later i even realised. I wanted my car looking over again a few months later and i booked it in for a check over and when i come to pick it up and pay they didn't even bill me and provided me the knowledge of the issue i was having. They are extremely genuine. I will note they are usually very busy so getting a quote or booking can take a while but if your looking for place to have work done properly on your car this small village garage is definitely the place to take it!. I wouldn't say they are cheap by any means but they do the work properly and are honest about the car. Little Gem 💎

I can never fault these guys , they are so helpful and honest and they never ever over charge , I know my car is in good hands when I take it there and they get the job done if they can’t they will happily help me until they find the problem , I’ve been going to them for around 2.5 years now and I’m always happy with the service especially after going to other places and having negative experiences I will now only use these !

The two gentlemen that helped repair my car were fabulous. I needed three new tyres and replacement brake pads. I had gone in to have two tyres replaced, it was pointed out that a third tyre needed replacing and I was shown the brake pads which were severely eroded. They pointed out the danger to me and I realised the need to go ahead with the repairs. They weren't trying to up sell or sell me something I didn't need, they were genuinely trying to keep my car both legal and safe. I'm so grateful. On leaving Andy even replaced a side light bulb that had gone, without charge. He offered to check tyres, oil, water and the like if ever I was in the area. Nice guys. I thoroughly recommend them. Reasonable prices and great service. I even got a free coffee and the toilets were spotless. I'll definitely return. Thank you.

Took my polo here for a cat and track rod ends replacements, staff was friendly on drop-off and let me know of a hole in my exhaust which was also fixed. Apon collection i was advised on tyre rot and a misalignment, and was also recommended where to sort it and advice if a wheel popped. Very professional, Very friendly, happy with the work done

Best Garage I've ever used! So glad I found this place. It's really hard to find honest mechanics nowadays and the place felt like the last one! When there was problems with my car that could have been lied about to get more money out of me, the guys told me no don't panic it was a cheap fix! And other times when I had to have extensive work, they made a great effort to fit me in and get me back on the road at such a fair price! I couldn't speak more highly of this place! RS Motors is 'Robert's shop and he is working up front with customers and in the shop getting his hands dirty each day. He's got decades of experience with BMW and AUDI and if you own either, you'd be crazy not to utilize his skills and expertise. I have done multiple repairs on my E61 535d, each at RS Motors, and have been extremely happy with the quality and timing of the work.....and more importantly the price. Rob is a super honest guy that I would trust more than just my car with. The quality of work is worth the drive coming from anywhere & you won't regret it! He'll find/solve the problem & work with you willing+politely. To sum up, there's no other mechanic to go to that takes pride in his business' reputation and quality of work!

Pablo is a highly qualified mechanic He did my brakes (bmw 535d) and where some fast fitters just slam the new pads in place, Pablo took the time and effort to clean everything, the brackets, the place holders etc etc. He put grease where it should be and as a result my brakes are not squeaking anymore, no more famous bmw clicking sound in the rear brakes, super job. I also had a problem with the charging pressure of my twin turbo, he diagnosed it correctly as being the actuators and did the repair. In full confidence you can bring a difficult job to him! Update: he also works on my Tesla, super!

Pav, is a truly exceptional mechanic and really knows his stuff, he revitalised my cars engine for me including timing chain kit and a list of other things that were wrong with my a6 3.0tdi I was kept informed of the progress and knew exactly where I stood with regard to cost etc Will certainly use him again and would recommend him to anyone with confidence that he will do a good job professionally and cost effectively. Instead of feeling like one of those tyre places that wants to find every chargeable item on your car and talk you into paying for unnecessary work, I felt like this place just wanted to help with the minimum of fuss. Great tyre and alignment workshop. I had a slow puncture, rang at 3:30 and they fitted me in at 4:30. Unfortuantely my puncture was on the edge and not repairable but they had a tyre in stock and fitted it straight away. My car is electric, the first I have owned so to hear these guys work on them all the time was a relief as it is job to know where to take them. I also liked the health check report with photos to show the nail and state of the other tyres. Great service with added benefits.

The glow plugs on my car was faulty and needed replacement, i did speak to Marlon/Ashely over the phone and they provided a quote and required information about the whole process, did inform me about possible risks and any issues as a result of that with a mitigation plan. The work was done and completed within the time frame that was provided by Ashley/Marlon at a very reasonable price.
