When our pump for our central heating system failed 1 week before Christmas Liam at Prime Plumbing was amazing. He had to resite the heating pump due to accessibility issues and squeezed us into his busy schedule. They charged a fair price for the work but the speed at which they completed the work was truly amazing and most importantly the quality of the workmanship was of the highest standard. Great company and a great workman. Can't recommend them highly enough.

Contacted Slater and Myles for a quote to repair a leaking roof. John gave me several options identifying the that issues he'd found and solutions at different price points, breaking down the work involved with each. More than one problem was found so we opted for a full re-roof and couldn't be happier with the completed work. The team worked hard through the snow, were always on time, we were kept updated on issues that they found and they were very professional throughout the work. I'd happily use Slater and Myles again for future projects.

I initially contacted Slater and Myles roofing LTD to provide me with a quote for a full roof replacement on my Victorian terraced home. Their communication was absolutely excellent from day one, and they arrived very quickly to provide us with a very well priced quote, alongside their comments on the condition of the roof and what they'd suggest. We decided to proceed with Slater and Myles and I'm extremely grateful that we did! The team were all extremely well presented, organised and always on time, their conduct throughout out of the whole process was immaculate. There wasn't the usual swearing or lingering smell of cigarettes etc. Every single worker was polite and extremely helpful and grateful for the drinks etc. Every single day they were on time, there wasn't any surprising extra costs being forced upon us etc.They always made sure that the site was cleaned up and safe after the day, this was particularly important within our shared yard with our neighbours who have a young baby, plus we habe a dog ourselves. John and Terry were the 2 in particular who carried out the works and the end product is to a very high standard. They both take extreme pride in their work, this was reflected by them even cleaning the gutters out after the work was finished! They were that good that even my neighbours have all commented on how friendly, respectful and professional they were throughout of the whole process, alongside commenting on the high standard of work that they have performed. I couldn't be any happier with the work. If you want a rushed, poor job then these guys aren't for you, but if you want top quality craftsmanship for an extremely good price then you'll certainly find that with these guys. I couldn't recommend them enough. They deserve every single cup of tea and every single biscuit that you provide them.

Great job from Slater and Myles! Really friendly, efficient and thorough service throughout. The team have done an excellent job fixing our roof - they went above and beyond to repair the valley guttering / flashing on our roof - showing us drone footage throughout so we could see what they were doing. Left everywhere clean and tidy and scaffolding taken down quickly! Can't recommend enough. 5 stars from us!

Heartily recommend Slater & Myles - we needed a full re-roof due to the age and condition of our 60s house and the whole experience was top rate. Quoted well from the off, with a full written quote rather than a spitball verbal figure, turned up on time and worked like troopers, finished when they said they would and did a fantastic job - it looks brilliant with some really elegant choices they made. The roof was in worse condition underneath than expected but they just cracked on, it needed two new beams but they just charged for material and not the extra labour. Very reasonable costs as well, which meant we elected to have the fascias etc redone at the same time within our budget. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I called for an urgent installation of a new cooker, after my old gas hobs abandoned me. This was a non standard installation, because the cooker was a different size of the previous one and needed to fit between two units of my kitchen, which needed to be moved. I am very happy with the job - they have been responsive, organised, punctual and very reliable. I will definitely call them again in the future for small and big projects in my house!

Can't recommend this company highly enough. Ben explained all the options to me and explained what work was required to complete the job. He completed a full service, changing seals and igniter, all for a very fair price. He also followed up with a text to make sure everything was okay and that he would diarise when the next service is due in 12 months to remind us. 10/10

Ben recently removed an old gas fire and back boiler and installed a new gas heating system for me. He came round to see what needed doing, provided me with a quote and arranged a time to do the work. Communication was really good and he was always on time. Had my hair done for a wedding, hadn't been to the salon before. Friendly Staff, fab wash and massage, my hair was then blowdried and curled using straighteners, the stylist did exactly as I asked. Really pleased with the end results, and my curls lasted all day even though it rained.I would recomend.

I am very pleased with the new roof fitted by Phil and his team. They were very professional throughout the project. The team were all on site for 5 days a week, ensuring that the work was completed in good time. They took care to do all the complicated parts thoroughly and ensured that no rain got into the loft space. They kept a tidy site and were very pleasant to have around. I felt confident to trust the experience and advice of Phil and his team and look forward to many years of having a trouble-free roof.

Phil and his team have just replaced our main roof, lower extension roof and bay window roof. After being let down by two other roofing contractors, it's been a pleasure having Phil and his team. Phil and his team recently removed, insulated and put a new membrane on our leaky stone roof before relaying the stones. They ensured that the stones matched in thickness and size so that there wouldn’t be any issues in the future. The team were really hard working and friendly, they explained what they were doing and why and kept me updated. They even turned up when it was snowing and did what they could. I’m honestly so pleased I found Phil and his team and I recommend them highly.

Danny, Gavin & Wayne did an excellent job sorting out tiles that had slipped down the roof due to bad weather and installing new dry verge units (roof edge caps). They arrived on time each day, did an excellent job, which has to be seen to be believed, cleaned up after themselves and were thoroughly professional in the way they worked, as well as being very friendly. If you need any roofing job, we would highly recommend them. A very professional team.

Had seen the work of these guys , as they did the the roof of my friends who live across from us . They have now done a brilliant job on our roof , including repointing both chimneys and replacing all architraves and gutterings and down pipes .They we’re very good with keeping everything clean and tidy too . We have no hesitation in highly recommending them to anyone who needs a new roof or repairs . Nice people too, so that’s an added bonus .

Can’t recommend GB Roofing enough. Gav really knows his stuff. We had issues with our roof lining which has been sorted and various repairs all over. Will be using for a full reroof eventually but for now we are water tight. We have used on several occasions and wouldn’t go anywhere else now. Staff are punctual, polite and very trust worthy. Outstanding Service We had carefully researched what kind of boiler we needed as a replacement; the Worcester 28CDi compact seemed the best. The old boiler was dying very considerately - no hot water but central heating so no panic to replace. The engineer from M T Buxton came and assessed our needs he was very professional, knowledgeable and confirmed our choice as the best for the size of the property. The boiler was fitted within a fortnight. Kev Thompson was the fitter he came at 8.10 am and left at 8.20 pm! I honestly believed that workmen like Kev were now extinct. I'm in my 70's so life has taught me to be very cynical. Kev never stopped, he encountered a problem with an old badly fitted radiator but he would not leave until everything worked perfectly. He made no mess and cleaned up beautifully. The boiler is working very efficiently and we saw, on the smart meter, that we are saving just over £4 a day in gas charges. I could not recommend M T Buxton and the boiler highly enough both are superb. Jan Bridgeman

Buxtons supplied and fitted a new Logic gas boiler to our home in January. Their engineer was very professional and kept disruption to a minimum. Extra work involved connecting to our existing radiators and bathroom shower. Work was discussed beforehand and needs were carried out to a very high standard. We highly recommend this company and will use their services for keep our boiler serviced over the 12 year guarantee. Great job thanks.

For our previous landlord, M T Buxton were the go-to company when we as tenants reported repairs. Whoever came each time was always very friendly and maintained good hygiene measures after the pandemic hit. They never dragged anything on longer than necessary and everything was always done to a very good standard. Now having become homeowners ourselves, we would have loved to have them as our go-to company too, were it not for the distance being an issue. Highly recommend!
