🙂 My child has been receiving tuition in English and Maths with The Tutor Centre since September 2023. Months later, it's an absolute joy to see my daughter feeling confident when doing her Maths, a subject she once dreaded. She is learning so much from the tutor when it comes to her Narrative/Descriptive writing aswell, I am so grateful to the tutor for this. My daughter finds the lessons fun, engaging and differentiated to suit her ability. She thoroughly enjoys her lessons and looks forward to seeing the other students that are part of the class. My daughter's school assessment scores this Spring compared to last Autumn show a huge improvement. This is reassuring. A massive thank to the tutor who works really hard every Sunday to help build my child's confidence. Thank you 🙂!

Hi, I’ve seen positive results within 3 months. My daughter has moved up a set in maths after only a couple of months. As a parent I can see her confidence has grown since she has been attending this private maths class. She’s headed in the right direction. I’d definitely recommend ‘The Tutor Centre’ to others.

I'm really grateful to The Tutor Centre for the incredible turnaround they've achieved with my son's education since starting in Year 8 when he was struggling in Maths, English, and Science. He was in low sets at school and had no confidence. But thanks to the dedication and hard work of The Tutor Centre, he has been jumping sets and has advanced to the top sets for Year 11. He's now being entered for higher GCSE tiers in Maths and Triple Science and his confidence has seen a massive boost. I am now enrolling my year 4 son to get him a head start in education and not waiting until year 8 :-). His time at the Tutor Centre has also seen a total change in mindset from not being interested in academic achievement to a highly motivated student with aspirations to achieve the highest GCSE grades across all subjects, not just the three he is being tutored in at The Tutor Centre. I cannot recommend the Tutor Centre enough.

We engaged with Mark to investigate a fault with our electrics which had been causing the fuses to trip. He completed a thorough diagnostic and took his time to ensure he identified the cause of the fault. He fitted us a new fuseboard and took considerable care to ensure he did a proper job and explained how it worked. Mark is both friendly and professional and we would have no hesitation recommending him.

Mark carried out a full rewire of our house. The minute he left after providing a quote, we knew we'd found our electrician. Mark gave us the confidence we needed to know he is an excellent electrician; he explained everything in detail and provided recommendations that were in our best interest and within our budget. He didn't try to up sell us or streer us wrong. Mark travelled every morning to our house which is a decent distance from his home. He communicated regularly with us when our input was needed. I visited a couple of times during the rewire and Mark left the house in a very tidy state; you can tell he truly cares about his work, his tools, and his customers. Mark is trustworthy and approachable, and I'd highly recommend him for any electrical work you need. Thank you for everything!

We used Mark for a full electrical rewire. As we were doing a full house renovation, we went through many electricians / quotes before choosing him (and we were very new to this). We chose Mark due to his professionalism and knowledge, as well as being friendly and approachable. He took time to answer any questions we had and gave us some very helpful tips. Nothing was ever too much and when we had last minute changes he was happy to accommodate. He was very careful with all the fixtures we provided, leaving the plastic covers on until we were ready to remove them post-renovation. Mark went above and beyond, fitting our kitchen extractor fan when it’s not something he usually does. We are extremely pleased with the quality and finish of his work. Thank you Mark!

Mark did a fantastic job. Everything was done pefectly. I asked him to do extra work on the day. No problem. Mark offered great advice too and I love the lighting he recommended. We had to visit the East Midlands branch last night as our collie had a nasty cut on her face. We were very happy with Derrick, he did a great job changing our fuse box, installing a CCTV camera and complete revision of the electricity and plugs and wherever he found something which required an attention he just fixed it. Very pleased for the service.

In Nov 19 Derek fitted a new fuse box for me, rewired my cooker, new outside up and down lights and new down lights internally in my lounge diner & kitchen, with dimmer switches. He planned and actioned everything in between other work I was having done to ensure there was no risk of getting plaster & paint on the new lights, meaning he had to drop in and out a few times. We found Derek to be friendly, efficient, knowledgable, responsive, he explained everything well and the results are great; we'd have no hesitation engaging him again or recommending him to friends.

We’ve used Jack and various members of his team for work at our previous property and current house. From full rewire , sockets and lights in shed, electrical report for house sale etc and currently working on new extension- we have been very impressed with time keeping, quality of work and value for money. They offer options for anything you maybe unsure of and work to your budget. So overall would highly recommend.

The team did a solar panel and battery installation for us. Very happy with the products and service. We had an issue with the inverter 6 months later which they came out and sorted at no extra charge, so excellent after sales care. I’m still excited to check how much energy we export back to the grid each day and some months our gas and electric bills are negative so the savings on our bills have been significant.

Ben & his team are fantastic. We are in the process of buying a house, so for our peace of mind we wanted to have the electrics checked. Ben & his team were fantastic, they had no problem going through my estate agents and was out quicker then we expected (which we are very happy about!). Took my dogs down for their boosters. First time and after past experience with another vet I was a little anxious. Thankfully no need to be. There was a warm welcome. The vet was very gentle and understanding, Greg is 14 and slightly grumpy, although well behaved. Pip is slightly nervous. The waiting room is a little cramped but that isn't something that can be changed.

Excellent experience from registration to first appointment. Everything was explained and I was given excellent advice and reassurance. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and I thoroughly enjoyed what could have been a nervous 2nd vaccination appointment. Very glad i chose to register my new puppy at the Ashbourne practice.
