Darren and his team have done a couple of jobs for me and I have found them to be professional and reliable. One of the jobs was to change a broken electric hob in our holiday cottage which Darren did on a Saturday morning call-out. I would highly recommend Elevate Electrical.

Neale provided his expertise to replace an induction hob for my elderly mum, nothing was too much trouble; his service was quick and professional and he spent time to show my mum the controls and functions of the new appliance. Would highly recommend him as he is very polite and efficient to deal with.

We called Neale in as we had no electricity in our bathroom and the fan in the downstairs loo was intermittent. We were very happy with Neale's work and he corrected the faults quickly. We would certainly use Neale Brendon in the future and recommend him for any electrical work.

My wife and I both had appointments with Tafadzwa Mbengeranwa and, as usual, she was brilliant. She put us at our ease, as we’re both quite nervous of the dentist, and made the whole experience much less stressful as we have endured in the past. We were both informed that we would require a follow up appointment but, because of her ‘chair side manner’ we are both at ease about the upcoming visit. Tafadwza’s nurse/assistant (sorry, didn’t get her name) also made an effort to keep us engaged and made sure the whole situation was lighthearted, without compromising on professionalism.

I was late for my appointment but I was still seen. All staff were thorough but welcoming and kind. The receptionist checked details and made sure all was on order. The dentist made sure I was comfortable throughout the check up and explained what she was doing. Excellent advice given on dental care in relation to my health issues. I was very satisfied with the care and service received.

Sam was incredibly helpful from the off, he took his time to work out the best way to do the job and we are really happy with the end result. Punctual, reliable and very professional, he even cleaned up after he’d finished! I rang Sam on a mid-morning weekday, worried because we’d lost power to several of our rooms, and I couldn’t figure out why. He talked the problem through, suggested some diagnostic tests I could do myself, and assured me that he’d come around at lunchtime, just a couple of hours later. He turned up as promised, set to work efficiently, and soon identified the problem (a faulty RCD switch in the electrical panel). He explained that he would have to go and get a replacement, and would be back at the end of the day, after he had completed some other scheduled jobs. He was – again – as good as his word, and he reappeared not long after 1730. It didn’t take him long to replace the faulty part … and power was fully restored. Problem solved. Sam is a friendly, efficient and responsible individual, and I would have no hesitation in asking him to tackle any other electrical issues we might have in the future. Very happy to recommend.

Nina is such a lovely, warm friendly person, I went to see her as I couldn't do anything with my hair,it was long,thick and a struggle to look after. I cannot commend Smart Homes Electrical highly enough. In September '24 we were entirely new to the photovoltaic world. I sent an exploratory email to Tom Mastin and by return was informed that Will Chamberlain, their sales and support engineer was going to be in contact. We went through the various options with Will's knowledgeable help. Will designed the specifics of our proposed system and Ben, Jack and Tom installed the new system on a steep roof in Matlock over 3 days. The team was superb down to each individual; as a company they do what they state in their literature. They did a great job and the system is already delivering. The Tesla Powerwall 3 (battery and inverter) and the associated app are something to behold. I'm very impressed and recommend Smart Homes Electrical with pleasure and without reservation.

From first enquiring about solar and our options regarding maximising the power/batteries etc, the team were excellent. There is no pressure at all and they even advised against extra panels as it would not give a benefit, other companies would sell you anything to increase the prices but Smart Homes don't. The work they did was outstanding and very considered in terms of dust generation and mess (hardly any mess at all but they asked if we could move our washing in just in case of any dust). The explanations and walkthrough about the system with the team once installed was again well considered. The communication either via phone or email is fast and they are happy to talk about anything to ensure your happy with your system. The installation team themselves are great, polite, helpful, courteous and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone looking at getting a solar system.

The team worked hard installing our solar /battery system despite the freezing temperatures in December and January. They were a friendly team and customer focussed. We would gladly have them back on site. The system is working well and generating some reasonable kwh so we should meet our proposed savings plan!

Superb service by John and Dean doing a total rewire of out kitchen lighting system after our rodent friends caused mayhem in the roofspace cabling. Great communication and turns up exactly as promised. Fair price too for a quality job. Very happy! Highly recommended!
