Had a wonderful stay at The Coach House. Service was great, room was spacious, clean and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. Couldn't ask for more. Would recommend highly.

Held a private reception here for a family funeral. Excellent communication from staff beforehand, very helpful and friendly and accommodating for setting everything out in the room as we liked. Clean and quirky place, and the vegetarian afternoon tea buffet was exceptionally good. Very generous amounts of food, no-one went hungry. Delicious, homemade food of high quality and good variety. Several guests commented that it was one of the best buffets they had ever tasted at a public venue. I thought it a much better standard than some afternoon teas at fancy hotels.

Absolutely fantastic. I stayed here the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and mum, and had hair and makeup started there. Zoe was so hospitable and welcoming. We loved the honesty bar, especially the homemade brownies that were provided. The continental breakfast in the morning was excellent - more of the brownies! We all loved the decor. I'd love to come back again for another visit!

We recently stayed at The Coach House for a wedding, checking in on a Sunday evening and staying until Tuesday morning. The entire booking process was seamless, especially when we wanted to add a second night - this was dealt with via email very easily and were so glad we added the additional night. The rooms are very cosy - we stayed in room 5 in the external building from the main house. The room was spacious, warm and had stylish fixtures. The bed was comfortable with luxurious bedding. The mini bar and complimentary items provided were great although we didn’t actually use any during our stay. The amenities in the room are very helpful, iron/hairdryer and high quality toiletries. The breakfast during our stay was wonderful - great choice and service in the cosy dining room. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again and would recommend to anyone attending a wedding in one of the nearby venues to book this B&B.

I have been a customer of Polly Hodge for the past five years and genuinely wouldn't go anywhere else! My hair always looks incredible after I have visited and I leave feeling totally pampered. All the girls are friendly, knowledgeable and skilled in their craft. Nothing is too much trouble and they will always listen to my ideas and give me the best possible advice for me and my hair. I have recommended family and friends to Polly Hodge who have came back and thanked me for the suggestion now being regular customers. With the recent changes due to covid I can honestly say that I have returned to the salon safe in the knowledge that Sonia and the team are doing their very best to protect their customers.

I contacted Simon and he came round to give me a quote on a leaking flat roof. The quote price was as expected. Due to the weather his team could not do the repair on my flat roof straight away, but as soon as the weather improved and he could fit my repair in he sent his team round. 3 of them came and i could not fault them. They were all polite and kept me informed. The job was completed in a day but a a small area was missed. As soon as i spoke to Simon the day after when he came to take payment he understood and sorted the missed area straight away with no issues and before i had to pay. His team came round within half an hour and fixed the missed area. Brilliant. All rubbish was cleared from my drive as promised and the flat roof looks so good now. I would definitely contact Simon again and would recommend them to others who need a roof repair. Thank you Simon and the team.

Simon was recommended by my sister and husband. I had a problem with the ridge tiles, he came along quoted me a price and a week later the ridge tiles were replaced by an excellent team, also solved a further issue for me. I would definitely use Ark Roofers again.

We booked all three cottages for a long weekend attending a nearby wedding. The owners were really friendly, accommodated our requests for the photographer and hair/ make up team to visit and made us all feel very welcome, especially their adorable miniature poodles! The location is beautiful, from the tree lined entrance and garden to the tastefully presented cottages. The facilities including pool table and table tennis to the swimming pool and jacuzzi were great and kept both the adults and teenagers happy. Everyone in our party had a great time, thank you both so much.

We had a great time here. The hosts welcomed us up on arrival and then left us to our own devices. The cottage was clean and well equipped. Local shops were not to far to get any forgotten items. The pool was clean and warm. Would highly recommend anyone who wants to get away from it all and relax this is the place to come. The hosts were always on hand for any questions or directions. There was nine of us sharing two of the cottages for a hen weekend and we couldn't have been more happy with our stay. We were shown around on arrival, and given such a warm welcome. Many of our group are now thinking about staying here with their families. The pool and jacuzzi are amazing and so relaxing. Thank you so much to the owners for making our weekend away memorable!!

We have just had a lovely week in August staying at Meadow View, the lodge was immaculate and equipped with everything you could need for a family of eight. The hot tub was fantastic and the location rural and quiet. On the edge of the Peak District there are many places to visit but we enjoyed our evenings at the lodge as much as our day trips. We will definitely visit again - thank you for a great stay.

Steve and George did an amazing job fitting 4 skylights in our barn conversion. Sourced some quality windows for us, arrived on time and did a great job of fitting them, left everything clean and tidy. Also pulled out all the stops to reschedule just a week later as there was a storm on proposed fitting date. Great guys, highly recommended.

With my usual therapist poorly I expected to have to reschedule another day, but I was accommodated perfectly with the lovely Gracie. She was just as excellent as Imogen and as always I was pampered and looked after in style!! Wouldn’t consider anywhere else… all work so hard, salon is clean and hygienic, each and every therapist is fabulous. Can’t recommend them enough!!

I have mobility issues and the staff were so helpful. They made the whole experience relaxing. I was offered a drink as soon as I was ready. I had a very relaxing pedicure my feet feel and look amazing. I would recommend The Treatment rooms in Tutbury as all the staff are very professional yet kind and friendly.

Wow! I'm so glad I found these guys. My little terrace garden has been in a poor state for years. I would have ago every now and then but it became overgrown once more in what seemed minutes. I realized that I needed it to be turned into a low maintenance garden as I never had enough time to look after it properly. After having a couple of quotes from other companies, which seemed very over priced, it put me off continuing to look for others. I'm glad I did though and found M&J Gardens. Matt and friends have preformed a miracle and turned my bramble infestation into a manageable garden again. The cats are very happy with the results too. They fixed my fence, cleared the garden, leveled it, landscaped, relayed pavement slabs with membrane and sand as well as a patch of lawn. Everyone was very polite and friendly, I was always informed of what was happening and when. I was also given advice on what would be best, but given options too.

Lee and Jordan replaced our leaking felt flat roof with a rubber roof, repointed a valley, replaced a few broken tiles and corrected some guttering. Lee and Jordan completed everything to a very high standard, cleaning up as they went along. Excellent service from start to finish, friendly and professional: would highly recommend and will be definitely using them again. Everything looks fantastic, thank you so much Lee and Jordan.

Brilliant honest hardworking. After a really terrible job from a previous roofer (waterproof roofing ltd )who left me with a leaking roof Lee and the fantastic team sorted it out for me.The other roofer has conveniently disappeared and won’t answer calls to fix it. Fantastic job delivered by Lee and his team today. Called Burton Flat Roofing couple of weeks ago to get a qoute for my outdoor building roof and also to have a look at my bathroom roof as a water leak developed over some time, affecting ceiling underneath. Before getting a competitive qoute, Lee had a good look at the current state of both of my roofs and then recommend what needs replacing and changing, rather than just getting a qoute from someone just looking at the roof from bottom up and giving a price going through the roof! Lee and the Team turned up on time and done a great job, exceeding expectations. So, would recommend to anyone and use again for flat roofing.

I have had my outdoor building's roof (34 sqmtr) done from Burton Flat Roofing. Replacing felt roof with rubber roof including sub boards and finishing trims. Outdoor building now looks fantastic and pleasing to the eye, as the finish is spot on. Lee and his team arrived and completed on time. No mess was left behind, as they kept on tidying my patio and garden area as they were progressing with the new roof. Great job carried out by Lee, so will use again for any future projects or call outs.
