Lovely staff and amazing atmosphere, the was spot on and lots of choices for drinks
Popped in for a drink and to watch live music. Although it's small, it's a good use of the space and you can hear the music loud and clear wherever you are inside. The price of the drinks can be a bit much I thought, three drinks costing just over £30. £12 for each 125m glass. That being said, the drinks were very nice, I just couldn't justify buying a second round.
Booked one of their Fri eve specials, 3 courses, glass of wine and a live band for £29.50! Need to book, and send menu options the day before. Friend has allergies, so called up and needed an alternative main meal. We were well looked after, lovely atmosphere.
Very nice what they have done with this historical place. For the second time here to eat as a conclusion of our UK trip. Show that English cuisine is more than fish and chips. Smooth and charming service.
We went to a sunset session on Friday. Atmosphere with the live music was perfect, service was great, food was okay. Would certainly go back for the Atmosphere and drinks!
