We old codgers moved 30 miles away a year ago but still come back to Whitstable and Tankerton for afternoon strolls. Always call here for coffee etc never try elsewhere. It is faultless and extremely attractive in all respects.

The cozy, inviting atmosphere paired with an incredibly friendly team made us feel right at home. The coffee was exceptional—rich and flavorful, easily some of the best we’ve had. We ordered the mozzarella panini, sticky toffee cake, matcha, and caramel iced coffee, and every bite and sip was a delight. Being just a short stroll from the beach adds to the charm. I enjoyed it so much that I promised my husband we’ll be making this a regular spot!”

2021 just got better! Tankerton has needed a proper skilled barista for years and now we have one! I am super fussy about my coffee and the care, time, attention and taste of my coffee here was second to none. Owner and team were super welcoming and friendly. Space has plenty of seating and is bright and stylish. There’s even vegan cake options and even more importantly for me - they use Oatly Barista for their oat milk option. The Union beans were super smooth. Highly recommended! Welcome to Tankerton Kafeine!
