Wonderful place! I enjoyed a delicious omelette with pomme frites. However, the coffee was disappointing. Both my partner and I ordered cappuccinos, and we found the milk either tasted off or the coffee itself was a strange flavour. The drink was more like a milky latte with a little froth rather than a properly made cappuccino. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. I would recommend this spot for breakfast, but next time I will opt for a regular Americano.
This was my first visit to F&G (in a party of four) and it was really very pleasant. The venue has great decor, nice background music and was very comfortable. The staff were very welcoming, friendly and attentive, and all four of us really enjoyed our food. I would definitely return.
My friend and I had a Sunday Roast at this lovely restaurant in Whitstable. I had beef an my friend had chicken. Everything was cooked to perfection and was piping hot. Service was wonderful too. Finished off with a delicious carrot cake. Will definitely be back!
