My friend and I came to this place for a quick lunch. We both ordered a bacon and chicken toast and it tastes really good - probably some of the best toasts I’ve ever had in the UK. The breads are perfectly toasted and delicious - definitely a hidden gem. The price is quite reasonable too.

Nice little on the way in Canterbury from Canterbury West station. Very friendly staff and lovely cafe. We had breakfast/brunch and ordered the Rancher and the House Smoked Salmon and Avo with two tea. Very good and different from your normal breakfast offerings. Worth a visit.

I had the best breakfast here since the beginning of my stay in the UK. I rate the whole experience very good. The service was nice and helpful. We didn't wait long after placing the order. The dishes were wonderful - fresh, tasty, pleasing to the eye and palate. Compliments to the chef. Delicious coffee. I will definitely come back here, even though the queue in front of the entrance is not getting shorter 😄 It's really worth it!

Absolutely adore this place! Me and my partner were so happy we found this during our trip and had become a firm favourite! Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area! Food is absolutely delicious, the atmosphere is lovely with the roaring fire on a cold November morning. The best eggs we’ve had in the UK, and my other half says the French toast with the honeycomb butter is to die for!

Loved it. Friendly service, great selection of household items, food, jams, pickles, frozen meals, fresh meats, stationery, wines and so much more. Lovely surroundings, beautiful plants and parking is available. I certainly wished I lived closer to this shop.

Excellent village store. The volunteers are very friendly and helpful in both the shop and Post Office. A great example to other shops and dare I say it Post Offices in general. I wish we had more local places like this.

A store that grew from a portacabin after all the local shops closed , now a thriving shop / small cafe where locals work as volunteers . Small selection of goods with some local produce available, a lifeline for the village .

Amazing cafe situated in the vineyard of Fifth Trust. Lovely cakes and sandwiches made on site all at reasonable prices. While you are there browse through the workshops and buy some home made or home grown products. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Great little cafe with a beautiful surrounding, the staff was very helpful and attentive. Also it’s charity running the whole place! It’s always a pleasure contributing by visiting more often…!

What a lovely afternoon. First the most delicious cheese scones I have ever tasted . With the tastiest relish .all home made. Served by the friendliest staff. The atmosphere was happy with loads of love . We then had the Vineyard tour which was so informative. To be followed by the Vineyards wines .And to end with a delicious charcuterie of cheeses ,olives .chorizo and ham. What a wonderful,place thoroughly recommend an afternoon here.

My favourite place to take visiting friends and family in Canterbury. No need to pre-book. The cheese scones are super delicious, I keep going back just for them. I've tried different teas, they never disappoint. Nuts allergy friendly.

Was visiting with a friend and hopped in for some afternoon tea, the staff were so helpful with advising us about portion sizes and I can say- they were right! One serving of afternoon tea was more than enough between the two of us. The Raspberry Apple scone was delicious and so large we almost couldn’t finish it, and the finger sandwiches were so fresh with classic fillings! We got the Tiny Tim’s House-blend for our tea and loved it. Overall, Cosy Interiors, great food and excellent service:))

Quirky Super place, first time customer and we're be returning next time we are in Canters. Staff were excellent, friendly, professional and the service received was top notch. Teas were really nice, certainly different and there was plenty for two cups. Scones were of a good standard although one totally fell into pieces. Jam and butter were superb. £35 for 2 x teas, 1 x coffee & 3 x scones. Expensive, maybe, but was quality 👍

Lovely little campsite cafe very tidy and quiet when we visited. Food is good and plenty and prices are decent. Free parking is a bonus and there is space to explore!

My husband and I stopped here for late lunch. Staff are all friendly and warm welcoming. Small dinning area but enough to enjoy 😉 and also available garden seating. My husband had a ham and chess croissant 🥐 it was very nice. And salad 🥗 is worth to pay. Lovely !!! And they have chocolate pistachio cake 🍰 it’s not really sweat, and tasty great! You should try. When is nice weather we may Come back.

Nice little coffee & pastry shop. Bacon quiche was really nice. My partner ordered german sausage baguette - bread was really good but sausage & filling can be better. Fruit pie was fresh. Coffee & hot choc were standard. Staffs were friendly and place is cozy.

The best service ever! We had so much fun at the Moat Tea Rooms for a friend’s birthday afternoon tea. The waitress fulfilled everybody’s wishes with care and witty humour. Definitely will return! Delicious tea and broad selection of cakes.

Tasty homemade cakes and flavored tea. The half timbered building looks amazing from both inside and outside. It's a cozy place to relax and have yummy cakes with friends. Highlight of our day trip in Canterbury. I would definitely love to visit again. Their chocolate cake is definitely worth it. The price is quite reasonable. I loved their rose sencha green tea.

I had seen the tea rooms online and thought it should be perfect to take my friends from abroad to, and it absolutely delivered! The place is actually much more spacious than it looks, lovely sitting area upstairs. We popped in Sunday lunchtime and were surprised the place was empty, that meant we got to choose the best table. The building itself is so quaint, the traditional cream tea and sandwiches were delicious, great tea selection, but the service left the most lasting impression. The young lady, I did not get her name unfortunately, was really sweet and helpful, made us feel very welcome. Will definitely be back to sample the cakes!

It was a small indulgence, more for the soul than the stomach, and it lifted our spirits on a quiet day. What stood out, besides the food and ambiance, was the warm and friendly staff. They were incredibly kind and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. Plenty of space in beautiful surroundings. The kitchen facilities were great as were the toilets. Everywhere was very clean with plenty of chairs and tables. A lovely place to hire out.

We was invited to our friends Birthday Party, and when we turned up, it was lovely to see such a clean village hall. Very well maintained, clean, and as a wedding photographer, I was loving all the natural light that was coming in, and the white boards on the ceiling (sound dampening) bounced so much light into the hall.

The village shop here is bright and airy. There is a surprisingly wide selection of produce. It's run by enthusiastic volunteer residents. Good size carpark. Haven't used any of the other facilities yet.

Beautiful premises for get-together and parties. I was there with family for a community event. The place was clean and well maintained. Along with premises you get a PA desk and small DMX lighting system when you hire the hall. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Kind service and amazing food with generous portions, leaving you full for a while. By far the best breakfast I’ve ever had, would recommend to anyone in the area. (Has a great breakfast deal- 5 items for 7 pounds!)

Had a meal there on Sat 12/10/24 which was absolutely fabulous. First time I tried this pub and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I have the chicken, my partner the felafal and my son the home made burger. Absolutely delicious and would highly recommend

Had a lovely meal there last night, food was very good, all served hot and plentiful, so much so I had a takeaway box and had that for lunch today. Will be going back very soon.

We had a family funeral wake here, the staff were amazing ,they served a buffet with everything you could think of and it was very good indeed. They had a good selection of beers and wines as well as one of the biggest selections of gins and vodka I have ever seen . A lovely country pub , definitely worth a visit .
