Popped in yesterday, searching for lunchtime sustenance in Old Hatfield. This Italian deli is lovely and the owner is too. Lunch was delicious! If you are ever visiting "up at the House", enjoy a little meander through the gatehouse at the back of the courtyard and down Fore Street. Take in St Etheldreda's church and the beautiful listed buildings down the main street (which used to be the Great North Road). Imagine this place several hundred years ago, bustling with coaches and horses and hostelries and shops aplenty to serve hungry travellers. Several pubs remain, along with old shopfronts. Cross the road at the bottom of the hill and make your way around to the left of the new Salisbury Square development. There, you will find Falcon's Deli, chock full of deli delights and freshly made, yummy lunchtime sustenance. Places like this are very special. Use them or lose them.

Incredible food. The shop owner Irena is lovely and is so friendly and social able. You can have a glass of wine with your focaccia sandwhich and arancini. Our new favourite place in Hatfield.

I had no idea that there was such a cute vibe in old Hatfield . Was on an late afternoon walk and stumbled upon it , we had the nicest cakes today and the one I had was fluffy and soft , between us we shared an apple cake and a pistachio cheese cake , both delicious , didn’t get the chance to take it as we ate it so quickly. But we also got these chocolates and oranges which was a nice treat . I also got some olive oil too . I love how authentic Italian this cafe is , I will be telling my friend his going to appreciate the recommendation.

A lovely surprise to come across this Italian deli cafe. We ate in and had the most delicious crisp pinsa romana freshly made. The ciabatta filled rolls were also good. You can phone ahead to pick up as well. Wonderful welcome from Irena. We need to use these little gems otherwise they will disappear.

Nice and fresh food, always served fast and with a smile. They are also happy to customise your order. The coffee is good too!

My daughter took me here for a birthday breakfast it was absolutely yummy . The staff are welcoming the atmosphere was great I highly recommend

Best fry up in the area , although I'm not a massive fan of the sausages, but I guess we all have different tastes. It's not going to stop me from going back though .

Having been here a few times, I've got to say I've never been disappointed with the shop, service or the food. You are greeted with a smile and very friendly staff. They listen and give you the time to choose your food and drink. The food has come perfectly cooked and reasonably priced for the quality of the food. The coffee is made fresh from a proper coffee machine. It tastes lovely. I have been here a few times and I will keep coming back. I would recommend it to anyone wanting good food and good coffee to come and visit.

Very very good breakfast. The staff were amazing as they brought me tea right when I walked in. They were also very patient with me as I was not sure if it was one of those places where you order at the till or a waitress comes to you. They did everything to keep me happy, even gave me an a hashbrown that I don't think was included in the breakfast special. The food was soo well done, like my favorite was the sasages as they were very crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside so they had the snap when you bit into it. Atmosphere, there wasn't really anything special characteristically. Looked like a normal breakfast Cafe. Otherwise would eat here again.

I usually come here just for coffee (which is always great), but yesterday I finally sat down for food and wow, I was seriously impressed. Everything we ordered was incredibly fresh, colourful, and full of flavour. You can really tell the ingredients are high quality and prepared with care. Stepping into this delightful café in Hatfield felt like wrapping myself in a warm, fuzzy blanket on a chilly afternoon! The ambiance is perfectly cozy—soft lights and inviting décor that makes you just want to settle in and linger. I was immediately drawn to the menu, where each dish seemed to promise comfort and flavor. When my plate arrived, it didn’t disappoint; generous portions danced with colors that made my mouth water with anticipation. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles, making it impossible not to feel at home there. Every sip of my drink and every bite of food was an invitation back to return soon! It's safe to say I've found my new favorite spot.

Booked a table in Tealicious for a group of 12 family. The staff were very accommodating and friendly despite it being very busy. The food was wonderful and catered for the 4 vegans in the group! My 8 year old son had a Nutella cookie and said it was the best thing he'd ever eaten! A delightful experience.

Stumbled across Tealicious going through the area, good friendly service, lovely breakfast, great setting, would highly recommend them. Its now my go to place for breakfast.

Tealicious is not only a fab cafe with gorgeous, fresh, homemade food, but also make delicious cakes. They were so helpful to me last weekend and the cupcakes were amazing! Thanks ladies!

I had an amazing experience at Scooperb Hatfield! The service was top-notch, with Ronak and Paras providing exceptional customer service that made the visit truly enjoyable. The sizzling brownie and Nutella overload waffle were absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor. The sorbets and scoops, especially the mango, pomegranate, guava chilli, and pistachio, were a must-try—each one was refreshing and packed with unique taste. I’ll definitely be back for more!

Scooperb is hands down one of the best ice cream shops I’ve visited! Their flavors are rich, creamy, and full of unique combinations that you won’t find anywhere else. Every scoop is packed with flavor, and the quality is top-notch. The atmosphere is inviting, and the service is excellent. Krishna, in particular, was incredibly friendly and made the experience even better. Whether you’re craving a classic flavor or something adventurous, Scooperb has something for everyone. First time visit, great service, delicious flavours, excellent service. Freshly made waffles, sundae and yummylicious mini pancakes. Very lovely lady Keta (hopefully I got the name correct) and her colleague served us. Very welcoming place and reasonably priced based on the different varieties and portions provided. Had a great experience at scooperb! The customer service is extremely good. The cashier was patient and helped us decide what to order (there were a lot of choices haha) as well as give out samples to try. The food came fairly quick and was really nice :)

The cake was gorgeous and delicious!! I appreciate how quickly it was made at such short notice. I only notified Cake Hut about the cake at like 16:00 on Friday but they had it ready by 13:45 pm on Sunday! Absolutely brilliant!! Great customer service

We ordered rasmali cake for my son’s bday and I did kind of ordered at last min , Amisha was quick and response and accepted the order . Very lovely lady . The cake tasted very very yummy . Would definitely recommend her for cakes

Had a fantastic lunch with friends today at Hatch Smallford. Food was amazing, great choices on the menu. The service was brilliant. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. I will definitely come back soon. Fabulous farm shop to have a mooch and shop in too.

Lovely small restaurant attached to a farm shop. We spoke to one of the staff members and he informed us that all the vegetables used were grown on-site which is always great to hear. The food was delicious and served quite quickly despite a contingent of cyclists all arriving at once. We sat outside as it was very warm and there is a lovely seating area surrounded by some shrubbery.

This is a fantastic cafe and certainly worth visiting. Service is lovely, food excellent (my breakfast bap was first class) and good value. Similar to the other Hatch locations, this is top notch and a great place to eat/drink. Highly recommended.

I visited this restaurant on Mother's Day with my son,and it was a truly lovely experience. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming,perfect for a special occasion. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and full of flavour. Everything we ordered was fresh and perfectly prepared. A special thank you to our waiter,Marcin, who made our visit even more enjoyable. He was attentive ,polite,and made us feel very comfortable from the moment we arrived. His friendly attitude and professional service added a personal touch to our meal. It was a wonderful way to celebrate Mother's Day, and I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

Had a really nice lunch today in a pleasant setting. The highlight of the meal was the starter (the croquettes), I really hope this can be a permanent part of the main menu as it was definitely the stand-out item! Nice friendly service by our server Leyla too. Highly recommend the place!

We came here for brunch, it’s busy between 11:30-1:30 and so we had to wait around 20 minutes to get our table. They have a kids menu which was great and they serve good coffee. My husband was particularly impressed with the specials. Our food took time to come out but they were busy which is understandable. I love where the cafe is situated. The items in the shop are lovely.

Delicious food, nice ambience, friendly service. You can tell the ingredients are good quality, especially the avocado. Personally I found latte was below average but my dad loved his americano. Will visit again!

Amazing place. Book ahead, as it can get busy, but they were very good about gluten free options for my partner, talked through the options and knew extremely well what was cooked in what. I had the normal Eggs Benedict, which were by far the best Eggs Benedict I've ever eaten. Will definitely be returning. The fact we could also bring our dog to sit nicely under the table is an extra plus.

Great cafe located on the great north road just on the edge of Welham Green. The staff are very friendly. Food is very good and great value for money. The quality of the food is very good too. According to my daughter, the milkshake is really good. We popped in for a quick bite for lunch and we had different variations of the breakfast combination. Simple, good value, friendly and clean. Recommended.

Set 6 today very tasty with friendly staff and very efficient service too .. met up with a few motorbike riding mates at 10am and was still there at 1pm enjoying the chats, coffee and atmosphere ..
