A lovely surprise to come across this Italian deli cafe. We ate in and had the most delicious crisp pinsa romana freshly made. The ciabatta filled rolls were also good. You can phone ahead to pick up as well. Wonderful welcome from Irena. We need to use these little gems otherwise they will disappear.

Incredible food. The shop owner Irena is lovely and is so friendly and social able. You can have a glass of wine with your focaccia sandwhich and arancini. Our new favourite place in Hatfield.

Popped in yesterday, searching for lunchtime sustenance in Old Hatfield. This Italian deli is lovely and the owner is too. Lunch was delicious! If you are ever visiting "up at the House", enjoy a little meander through the gatehouse at the back of the courtyard and down Fore Street. Take in St Etheldreda's church and the beautiful listed buildings down the main street (which used to be the Great North Road). Imagine this place several hundred years ago, bustling with coaches and horses and hostelries and shops aplenty to serve hungry travellers. Several pubs remain, along with old shopfronts. Cross the road at the bottom of the hill and make your way around to the left of the new Salisbury Square development. There, you will find Falcon's Deli, chock full of deli delights and freshly made, yummy lunchtime sustenance. Places like this are very special. Use them or lose them.

I had no idea that there was such a cute vibe in old Hatfield . Was on an late afternoon walk and stumbled upon it , we had the nicest cakes today and the one I had was fluffy and soft , between us we shared an apple cake and a pistachio cheese cake , both delicious , didn’t get the chance to take it as we ate it so quickly. But we also got these chocolates and oranges which was a nice treat . I also got some olive oil too . I love how authentic Italian this cafe is , I will be telling my friend his going to appreciate the recommendation.

We are so lucky to have this amazing deli in Old Hatfield. Not only is the proprietor a lovely lady the food is amazing. Today I tried the pizza - delicious. My favourite place to take a friend The owner is also an amazing artist and you can view an array of artworks on the walls. Filled with lots of delights!
