Had a really nice lunch today in a pleasant setting. The highlight of the meal was the starter (the croquettes), I really hope this can be a permanent part of the main menu as it was definitely the stand-out item! Nice friendly service by our server Leyla too. Highly recommend the place!

I cannot fault the food! It was beautifully presented and tasted fresh. My only disappointment was no ginger beer available and a coffee was incorrectly added to our bill.

We came here for brunch, it’s busy between 11:30-1:30 and so we had to wait around 20 minutes to get our table. They have a kids menu which was great and they serve good coffee. My husband was particularly impressed with the specials. Our food took time to come out but they were busy which is understandable. I love where the cafe is situated. The items in the shop are lovely.

Delicious food, nice ambience, friendly service. You can tell the ingredients are good quality, especially the avocado. Personally I found latte was below average but my dad loved his americano. Will visit again!

I had a wonderful experience at Birchwood Café in Hatfield. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and made sure everything was just right. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Whether you’re stopping in for a full meal or just a coffee and a bite to eat, the menu offers a great variety of options to suit different tastes. The café itself is clean, cozy, and a lovely spot to relax or catch up with friends. It’s obvious that the team takes pride in both the food and the service, and it really makes a difference. Had the best Cheese and Mushroom Omelette Today. So good that I got a takeaway away box for the last bit I had no room for. Loved the dressing on the salad too. Wish I had o f asked what it was. Really nice staff, brilliant.

Incredibly friendly owner who cooks the food perfectly! He always asks how we want it done and if there's any extras we need too. Perfect place to go for a quick bite or a full meal. Just moved in locally and this is definitely our go to from here on.

My friend and I went to the Dutch Marketplace for lunch recently. The cafe is large and offers a selection of hot and cold food which is well presented and reasonably price. Hot food is cooked to order. You place your order at the cafe counter with your table number and pay. The food is brought to your table by the staff. I chose scampi and chips while my friend opted for a toasted cheese and ham sandwich. Both were delicious. The Dutch Marketplace is a great place to visit for plants and garden furniture, including arbours. There is an extensive food area selling a variety of cheeses, biscuits, cakes, etc, and a butcher's. They also sell delicious fruit and vegetables. There is a clothing and gift area which also offers a wide variety of greetings cards. There is a large free car park and a step free access to the shop. Customer toilet facilities are also step free and are situated near the main entrance.

Fantastic everything to garden's. Plants and trees are sorted in the useful categories. Figures of elephant, giraffe and other egzotic animals. Beautiful atmosphere, nice, helpfully staff. Is parking free for disabled aswell. I will back to this place faster than possible.

The Dutch Marketplace is now my new favourite garden centre. The staff are so friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of plants and homeware in a lovely setting. They also have a really nice cafe. Highly recommended!

Lovely little place in the middle of nowhere where there are few other similar options. Staff was nice and friendly despite it being close to closing time. We still managed a coffee and donuts, which were delicious. Will be back again with more time.

Absolutely love Simmons Bakery! The ladies who served me were so friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. They always have a smile on their faces and go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. The coffee from their machine was surprisingly good – hot, fresh, and a perfect complement to their delicious pastries. It’s a great spot for a quick break or to grab a treat. Highly recommend Simmons for their excellent service and quality!

Second time I've been here. First time was with my eldest daughter and today I visited with my youngest daughter. Both times, the food has been exceptional, freshly made and reasonably priced. Lots of seating, the place was busy as it was lunchtime, but we still managed to get a seat. Friendly and attentive staff and a good atmosphere with lots of regular customers. Highly recommended!

Amazing cosy cafe with loads of options & choices! The prices are very reasonable and the food is really tasty. Also i must add its a very clean environment, even in the kitchen which i saw over the counter! I would personally recommend sincerely because staff are very accommodating and kind hearted. Always come here for lunch when I am visiting with my granddaughter. Love the spaghetti bolognaise and the chicken curry. Banana milkshake to die for lol. Staff are friendly, efficient. There is always a nice and friendly atmosphere whatever time we go. My granddaughter enjoys it here and we both enjoy our time together here. Food is fresh and ample portion sizes.

I had a wonderful experience at this café! I tried the matcha smoothie for the first time and it was absolutely delicious—smooth, refreshing, and full of flavor. The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and I especially want to mention Manager Karolina, who was incredibly kind and attentive. Great service and amazing drinks—definitely coming back!

This was a sandwich 🥪 Pastrami, cheese, mustard, pickle, and avocado!!! You will not see many sandwiches on my feed other than when I was in Italy. I am not a sandwiches lover, but I think I will have to have a go at a few ideas after this. Works meeting and a little peckish, so we went to a local sandwich shop @bebocafedeli in Hatfield, I couldn't get enough of this, around £6 I added the avocado as extra, it came in the box with a good handful of crisps 😋 I think there is one or two of these around in that part of the world. If you come across one, please try it. We had 8 different sandwiches, and everyone was more than happy with it 😀 Thanks to the team at Bebo, the food was great. we even had a little freebie, date, and ginger cookies. I didn't like the sound of them but super tasty. We placed the order over the phone and asked for a time to collect, smooth, simple, and tasty. What more can you ask for. I was warmly welcomed by Anna and Peter at the coffee shop "Kerbside Coffee" at Hatfield Station. Peter's exceptional customer service surpassed any I've experienced in coffee shops before. Engaging conversations and thoughtful recommendations made my visit memorable. With a great variety of food, snacks, and drinks to choose from, including a 'take a book, return a book' corner, the ambiance was truly cozy. The option for self-checkout and online ordering added convenience, especially during busy times. The place was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The staff went above and beyond, demonstrating exceptional helpfulness towards customers. If you're passing by Hatfield Station, I highly recommend stopping by for a hot drink and a bite to eat.
