Excellent location with a lovely atmosphere—I adore the vintage angelic decor, and the place is impeccably clean! They do have a dog, so if you're not keen on dogs, it might not be for you. I had my hair done by Theodora, and she’s the kindest hairdresser I’ve ever come across, not to mention very talented! As a student in Hatfield, this will definitely be my go-to place for hair while I’m here.

Sarah, at Wilde About Hair, is a St Albans hairstyling superstar. She *really* listens, checks she's understood, and then takes her time to produce the exact result required. My hair is, unfortunately, getting frizzier and brassier, as I get older. But through her forensic attention to detail, she was able to find the exact shade I needed to restore it to its original ash blonde. My hair hasn't looked this good since I gave birth and started turning grey six years ago. I just can't stop swishing it. Five stars

I went in with longish hair and decided to go for a bob cut and I couldn’t be happier with the result! Gary was absolutely brilliant: professional, friendly, and clearly skilled. He talked me through each step of the process, explained how to style it, and really listened to what I wanted. I showed him a few photos and he nailed the look perfectly. This is honestly the best haircut I’ve ever had. I usually feel a bit nervous or unsure after a big change, but this time I felt instantly confident. Thank you Gary!

I have been going to tielsi for years and couldn’t rec more! Especially Jemma, she is fantastic! She has such a talent for cutting and colouring hair, I have never been happier with my hair than when she does it. I get mine dyed ginger, and she is able to get such beautiful vivid shades, just on top of my natural blonde hair. She’s incredible! (Iykyk red fades super quick, but I get months out of it, she’s found the magic formula for my hair, I’ll happily let her do whatever she wants, it always looks amazing) photos show my hair just done, and 3 months later!

Tony & Jemma are absolutely incredible - I came in to have my cut & colour ready for my wedding day. I went to Tielsi hair salon after my husband recommended Jemma as a hairstylist for our wedding. She did my hair, my mom’s, my safta’s, the bride’s, and my sister’s.We all left feeling amazing. Confident. Happy. Everyone was smiling and ready to go. She was super quick and knew exactly what we wanted. If you’re after someone who actually listens and makes you feel beautiful, Jemma’s the one. The owner of the salon and all the staff is unbelievable and we had the best in salon experience.

Used Kerri for spray tan, very pleased. She has a beautiful treatment room, very light spray which helps give good results. Will definitely use Kerri again. Lovely girl.

Highly recommend Karri, she is absolutely amazing and made me feel so at ease and comfortable when I was initially quite anxious and embarrassed about getting waxed for the first time while heavily pregnant. Really kind, friendly and professional service from a lovely lady!

The best nails I’ve ever had done. And the quickest! The attention to detail was amazing. I’ve never experienced my nails being perfectly shaped or painted before, even after trying multiple other shops. Previous gel sets done in other shops have looked thick and chunky. Before coming here I had dreaded haircuts for years because it always felt like a gamble with whether i was gonna get a good result or not, but Becca is amazing. She knows her stuff, takes her time, pays attention to your hair type, and is happy to adjust things. Plus, she’s super friendly. Oh where do I begin? Wonderful, modern studio, friendly environment! Ian took time to understand what I was expecting from my new haircut and made sure I was comfortable throughout my appointment. He takes great pride in his work and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. They cater for all age groups as well and were very accommodating towards all their customers. I've seen several beautifully curated cuts and styles leave the studio while I was in the chair myself! Thank you Ian and the team! I'm grateful I found you and your studio!

Ian is so warm, friendly and down to earth. He is a great listener and he makes you feel so pampered. The salon has a great atmosphere and the staff work well together… the vibe very much feels like they are one big happy family. Ian does a fantastic job on my hair and takes his time, making sure that what he is doing, I am happy with. Excellent value for money. Jayne is such an amazing hairdresser so talented and lovely I always enjoy getting my hair done. So hard to find the right hairdresser for me as my hair is super curly, and she has helped me so much with my curls along with extensions and cuts which have lasted long terms as well as stunning.

Jayne is an amazing hairdresser who does wonders with every hairstyle I ask for. She always shares her advice on what styles work best for my type of hair and top tips on how to style at home. I haven't let anyone else near my hair since my first cut with Jayne 7 years ago and don't intend to either! Jayne also cuts my teenager's hair, and is always up to date with the latest styles and trends so I come away with a happy daughter every time. I simply can't recommend her enough!
