Visited today with a painful back and walked out totally different, best back massage I've had. I would recommend individually unique and will be using them again.

I met Caroline via work and decided to have my legs waxed. I am an anxious person, and she calmed me down straight away. It's friendly. The ladies using the toning tables are happy and enjoying their exercise. The treatment room is clean, and I feel in very safe hands. I love my beauty times out, and Caroline is full of helpful tips as well. I'm not one for showing off my legs in the summer but its great to go to the swimming pool knowing they look their best. She's good value.

A really great place with a relaxed atmosphere. The machines have really helped with my lower back pain. Five stars from me!

He loves coming to see you and really enjoys getting his haircut, such a turnaround from a year ago before he started coming here. Great hairdressers with experienced staff and a lively atmosphere. I've been using Paul Light's hairdressers ever since moving to Romsey in 2012, and have been coming back ever since. I appreciate that hair in general is a personal thing, however what I think is universal is the way in which the staff here listen to their clients and offer their advice and professional opinion based on their experience. If after a week or so things aren't quite 'right' they've always been happy to rework without any hitch, which is great customer service. The pandemic wasn't kind to business in general, and more so than most health and beauty businesses, but throughout the staff have always been cheerful, and played with the cards that had been dealt well. Masks, dividers, shields have moved back to coffee and fragrance testers, but it is testement to the underlying core that the quality and experience didn't suffer when times were 'interesting' Now part of Bradbeer's the ownership may have changed but the quality of the team remains, and Paul is still a real example of someone who is on the top of their game, and has a passion for what he does. We've also had our (little) children's hair cut here and the stylists have always been brill, friendly and understanding. Great

My son refused to have his hair cut until we started coming here. A friend recommended Jake and he was brilliant with my son (who has both autism and ADHD). He rolled with the fact that he would rather stand than sit down and proceeded to cut his hair sitting behind him. The first time we only had half a hair cut but after two years of coming here we've managed to introduce clippers and the same razor and now only takes about 20 minutes! All the staff are very friendly, especially to my son. There's always a sticker or lolly to console my son after the cut is finished.

I would thoroughly recommend visiting The Hair Cabin! Kerry is brilliant - she gives great advice on what to go for and she brought my dull hair back to life. The Cabin is so relaxing as well which makes it feel like a lovely pampering session. I also took my little girl for a haircut - she is 20 months and we had lots of lovely comments about her hair afterwards. Thanks Kerry!

Beautiful and welcoming salon. The lady at the front desk was really helpful and clocked that I was a new customer, before my appointment, she rang me to let me know they had a cancellation and if I would like to move it forward which was great. During my appointment, Chloe did a fantastic job on my hair and everything was fairly priced. I would highly recommend.

Fran cut my hair after many years of not seeing a hairdresser and she did a wonderful job. Very considerate about what I wanted but also shared what she thought would be best for my hair. She’s also very good entertainment ! Extra star for molly the salon dog

Great experience at the Green room! I dread going to the hairdressers but Fran really listened to what I wanted and made it enjoyable. I never wear my hair down but Fran worked her magic and I wear it down all the time now. Looking forward to going back :)

Located in the heart of town, Strands has excellent hairdressers offering cutting, colouring, and styling at competitive prices. I come out feeling a million dollars every time!

I genuinely cannot reccomend this place enough. I came in with a botched bleach and toner that had my hair orange from a different salon in Southampton. Sophie managed to bring me back my dream of medium bronde. She was so professional, my hair has never looked better all my life and I normally pay 5x as much as I did here. Everyone in the salon was so lovely, the environment was great and friendly and I will be going here for the rest of my life.

Emma and her girls at Strands are the best! The are the most caring bunch of ladies I know and they are also excellent at doing hair. They treat my 84 year old mum with the utmost respect and go above and beyond when she goes into the Salon. They all adore my little dog Ozzie and he gets so much fussing and treats he can't wait to visit. Well done Emma, Pauline, Aly, Sophie and Helena we will be in again soon :-)

This was the best experience I've ever had in a hairdressers. As well as being excellent hairdressers Emma and Tracey take the time and trouble to make sure you positively enjoy being there. They are mainly a ladies hairdresser, but Emma also does men. If you hate the 'shaved back and sides' look this is the place to go!

First time I have been here and was lucky to get an appointment due to a cancellation. We moved house (& area) at the beginning of the year and therefore my hair hadn't been cut for months. Georgie completely restyled my thick hair beautifully and I've had lots of compliments. Highly recommend them and I will now be going there in the future.

A fabulous experience today. I took my 13 year old daughter and her friend (also 13) to have their ears pierced. I booked Call of Beauty as I know several people who recommended them and they have been established in Romsey for many years. They were very welcoming- explaining the procedure fully to the girls and both us mums. They had a fabulous selection of different studs to choose from. The piercing itself was excellent. Time was taken to mark the spot on the ears first- with both staff members, the girls and us mums checking that we were happy with the positioning. Then both ears were done simultaneously- totally painlessly. Aftercare was thoroughly discussed. We were all very happy with the whole experience, and I would have no hesitation in recommending Call of Beauty.

Today I have been thoroughly pampered and walked out feeling very special. I generally see Nicole and we’re definitely on the same wavelength but Lydia and all the team are so friendly and welcoming - it’s like being part of a family - love this salon.

I visited as a belated birthday present and all round well being session for myself and booked a full body. I'd never had one before and after I'd had a physically challenging year it was well deserved. I have never been so at ease and comfortable, giving the circumstances. From first impressions to leaving it was heaven. My calves feel lighter, the knots in my shoulders gently squished away, Jo did something to my palms and it was the most incredible feeling I've ever had. A simple pressure point and the tension in my lower back and neck melted. Definitely book longer than one hour, it's not quite enough time for the whole body to fully experience the rest, whilst the mind relaxes. I'm so glad I choose this masseuse in particular. Very friendly lady, gentle voice, magic hands. Also the atmosphere was just bliss, some relaxing music but I also got the chime of the abbey bells. Honestly, a moment I really absorbed. Yeah, perfect.

I have had the pleasure of two Massage treatments with Jo at Your Skin, Romsey, Hants. Jo was Kindle recommended by a very good friend of whom has also had massage treatments with Jo. I had a 1 hour and a 45 minute treatment (one was on a Saturday). Jo is at the top end of her profession . She gave me the most wonderful and revolutionary massage treatment - I will not be going back to Limewood! ....I slept so well that night! She is now my personal massage therapist! I have been going to Lauren Hill Hairdressing for a good few years now, mainly with Mirela but have also had appointments with Ella and Louise. The salon itself is lovely - very bright, clean and airy and beautifully decorated with lots of parking around it. The whole team are super friendly and make me feel very welcome every time I go. Whenever I have my appointment we always take the time to discuss my ideas, talk through the options and agree on the way forward together. I have always been delighted with the results of my colour, cut and styling and I would 100% recommend the salon.
