Can't recommend Tami at Babylon enough! I'm one of those fussy people who's precious about their length and anxious after past chops, but Tami listened to what I wanted and understood exactly what I meant. She was so lovely and I've come away so happy with exactly the haircut I asked for. Won't go anywhere else and will probably have more regular trims now I've found someone I trust!

My mum and I treated ourselves. Tammi (y) was our hairdresser. She washed, cut, blow dry, and styled. Coffee was offered and taken. The hair wash and head massage Tammi did was amazing. The whole experience was wonderful. Very welcoming and hospitable. Great location for me anyway. The shop is light and airy. Comfortable couch to wait on. We both loved our hair cut and styles. We will come again. I will try a massage soon.I highly recommend.

I recently had a first manicure and pedicure with Yasmin at Babylon hair and beauty. It's a beautiful salon with friendly and professional staff. The best bit, my gel nails lasted the longest they ever have, even after a holiday with swimming every day, two weddings and a festival!!..I will be visiting again very soon!

Had a lovely appointment with Alice for gel nails. Just the treatment I needed while on my holiday. All the staff I met were very friendly, and had a good natter with Alice. Thanks ladies, I will be back when I'm down on my holidays again xx

Today was my first visit to Beautifully Gorgeous and it certainly won’t be my last. Claire was so lovely and welcoming and did an absolutely cracking job on my nails. Since my usual salon closed down I’ve had a couple of poor experiences and feel so happy to have found this salon and such a lovely beauty therapist in Claire. Can’t wait to go back!

Had a lovely hair cut today with Nadine. I didn't know what to do with my hair, but thanks to Nadine's knowledge I walked out with my hair looking much more healthy and with more volume! I also had a lovely head, neck and shoulder massage which was a really nice touch. Already booked back in for January! I visited for the first time after months of needing a cut. The staff were warm and welcoming , which was a fabulous first impression. My assigned styling was very honest, letting me know that she would prefer to pass me to a more senior stylist, due to my hairstyle. I appreciated this honesty. My cut wasn't cheap but it was really well done and I like the finished style. The head massage was wonderful and so relaxing ! I think I probably overshared my life (! Lol)but my stylist, who I believe is the proprietor, was very lovely and didn't once show any kind of impatience with me..she was great!

Beth is exquisite in her profession, I could not recommend her enough to anyone looking for a hair dresser for their wedding day. I was so fortunate to have her create such a beautiful look for not only myself (the bride), but also for my three bridesmaids, my mother and flower girl. Beth is incredible at what she does, whenever i go to beth to get my hair done i always come out feeling amazing and it is always perfect, I cant thank her enough for doing mine and my bridal teams hair on the morning of my wedding. I had the most amazing experience at my hair appointment today! I went in for the Fusio Dose Kerastase Treatment followed by a haircut, and it was exactly what my damaged hair needed. The appointment started with a heavenly head and neck massage that instantly helped me relax—it was such a wonderful touch. The treatment itself was phenomenal; my hair already feels so much healthier and nourished. And then came the haircut—Amelia, she did an incredible job! She truly understood what I wanted and worked her magic to bring my vision to life. I can’t thank her enough for her attention to detail and care. I was so impressed with the results that I booked another treatment with Amelia before leaving the salon. I’m already looking forward to it because this was by far the best treatment I’ve had. I have been going to Robin James for 12 years because of its quality and consistency. Aveda colours are also very kind to the hair. Joanne has been my hair stylist since she qualified. She really cares about her work and takes pride in doing a really good job. She is talented and thoughtful and fun to spend an hour or two with! I totally recommend her services without reservation.

I had the lovely hairdresser Mea do a full head of highlights on my hair. Such a comfortable environment and all the stuff made sure that you got something to drink and was looked after. The hair turned out beautifully. Would highly recommend.

Such a lovely place, Amy did my hair colour, highlights cut blow dry and straightened. She was quite busy bless her but still very professional. Very friendly and relaxing place, and seems you could have a a day of pampering because they do so much there, I'm actually thinking about what shall I have done next

Can't recommend this place enough. I recently got married and was lucky enough to have Jana do my hair on the morning of the wedding. Her skill is incredible and she created exactly what i'd pictured in my head. She's so friendly and did an incredible job on my maid of honours hair as well! 100% would recommend!!

I've been going to Katie Burrows-Kerr for years now and she always does an amazing job. I love the way I feel when I leave the salon, even if it's just from a simple trim. I had my first salon colour last time (previously always home dyed) and I was so happy with the end result, my hair was so vibrant and shiny as well as being super soft! The atmosphere in the salon is always really friendly. I find going into some salons quite intimidating but everyone at MeraKi is so welcoming.

I have been using Hair Moda for about a year now. The staff are lovely, especially Steph who cuts my hair. My 12 year old son has just started going to her too as he didn't have a good experience somewhere else so he didn't want to get his hair cut, but Steph was really nice and put him at ease. He even came away with a smile on his face. He is now happy to go again.

Friendly atmosphere only looking up for a skin test ,so if anyone would like eyes,brows. X lashes & hair always do a strand test for bleach products & they will pop it at the back of the neck .No, you can't see it .If you w8sh to go anywhere they should have test done 24hrs I'm still here ,everywhere you go will NOT DO IT WITH OUT STRAND TEST SO WORK IT OUT ,some might not ,but I can't talk about other beauty places,,this beauty treats are upstairs she's amazing and professional thankyou only popped in, it's just so friendly atmosphere and polite ,thanks again Nikki

Nikki (excuse possible spelling error) is the ONLY hairdressers that has given me what I have asked for since I was 20 (I'm 35 now!). She is a master of hair in all ways. Full of knowledge, which she is able to transfer to explain her thoughts, and it helps guide you in a direction - especially when you have no clue about hair like myself. Niķki was left in a bit of a situation before Christmas and she was juggling so much, but she managed to still fit me in for a 9am - 2pm appointment to completey transform my hair from a mirage of box dye to a gorgeous lighter balayage to look more natural. Also, for my thick hair sisters and brothers: Nikki curled my hair and made them stay!!!! That has NEVER happened before!!! Thank you Nikki, you're a star 🌟

I have been going to changing grooms for years. It is definitely the best place to get your hair cut. Nicky and the rest of the team are so good at there jobs. I’ve never had a problem there. I always look forward too having my hair cut there.

The pride of Dorchester, Akemi Spa is a treat for the mind, body, and soul. Upon entering the spa I was immediately engulfed but the warm vibe. The owner Kelly has an infectious smile that says, “you’re in good hands.” The massages are more than enjoyable, they are a health necessity if rejuvenation, balance, and relaxation are your goals. I highly recommend a day of pampering and self care. Get a mani and pedi! Slump in and prance out, you won’t regret it! Prices are reasonable, service top notch, staff professional, and welcoming. Don’t go to Dorchester without visiting Akemi Spa.

I support a resident to have her nails done here. All the staff are so lovely and treat her very well. She always feels good when she leaves there and shows everyone her nail. Would recommend these lovely people to anyone.
