I have been coming to Gemma and the team since the salon opened over a year ago. All the girls are so lovely, friendly and professional. There is just a beautiful vibe in there and you feel so welcome. They've became more than just somewhere I get my nails done, they've become so much more and I wish nothing but success for Gemma and all the team. Beka is my usual gal for treatment and she is an absolute joy and cares so much about getting everything perfect for you. Could not recommend anymore ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Gem is just the best. I have just had had luxury derma-planing followed by a back neck and shoulder massage. She is just so professional, makes you feel so relaxed and is just so good at all her treatments. I Would definitely recommend her, came out feeling really pampered and relaxed. Such a beautiful salon with such a lovely atmosphere. All the girls are fabulous.

I love going to Aurora Beauty studio, all the girls are friendly and excellent at what they do. I’ve had lashes, nails, microblading and waxing and never had a bad experience. The studio is gorgeous and has a very calm and relaxing atmosphere. Gemma and Becka are the loveliest people and will make you feel at ease with whatever treatment you choose, and I’ve got to mention Stanley, the resident Dachshund, take a treat and he’ll reward you with cuddles. I would totally recommend Aurora Beauty Studio.

You will struggle to find a lash tech who is as professional as Gemma! Availability is great and if there are any issues then they’re dealt with easily. The whole salon has a lovely atmosphere, everyone is approachable and you’ll leave feeling fabulous. Highly recommend!

I’ve been having my hair done with Dan for years and my hair has never looked better. I tried many other salons in the past and was never fully satisfied with the results. Embellish has such a nice atmosphere and always provides a top quality service. All the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would never go anywhere else.

I’ve been going to Sarah for many years. I followed her from a previous salon to embellish because such good hairdressers are hard to come by. I love the salon she is at now. The salon I has recently undergone a renovation and looks lovely. The seats are so comfortable to sit in while you are having your hair done. It’s a friendly salon with a professional and comfortable atmosphere. Sarah is so good at her job. I’m fussy about how I have my hair done but Sarah always pays attention to what I want and does it just right. She is a credit to the salon. She is a lovely young lady with a caring nature. She takes really good care of you when she’s styling your hair and really wants to make you feel lovely. Thank you so much Sarah if you read this.

I’ve been going to embellish for a couple of years and love the place. The staff are so friendly. My stylist Sarah is the best stylist I’ve ever had. She is attentive and caring. She listens to how you want and like your hair. She offers good advice about your hair. She is absolutely brilliant. I always love my hair and get exactly what we have discussed and decided on. What a very talented hairdresser she is. I would recommend her to everyone. I’ve sent friends to her and they all feel just like I do. The salon has been newly refurbished and looks absolutely beautiful. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I am offered a drink several times during my visit and Sarah always tells the person making it how I like it so I get a perfect cup of coffee. These little things are important. I always get a wonderful head massage off Sarah as part of my hair wash because she knows how much I love it. If I only want a very slight trim then that is what I get. No taking up to an inch off like other stylists have in the past. Sarah always listens to what is important to me and wants very much to make sure I’m happy with what she has done. Her customers are important to her and she wants them to leave the salon feeling amazing. She takes pride in what she does and always gives her very best to make sure her clients are happy. I highly recommend embellish and definitely recommend Sarah to everyone. A very talented knowledgeable and experienced stylist indeed. I have put some photos on of how beautiful Sarah has made my hair look over the years with different cuts and colours.

Came across this salon whilst on holiday. Feeling I needed a good rejuvenating massage, after all the walking, I called in expecting a 'sorry we are fully booked' however, thanks to an ever professional and friendly Lisa, both Mum and I managed to get appointments. I would have to say it was the best full body massage I have ever had. Amazing! The salon is lovely, clean and calm and stocked with a host of quality products. It would definitely be my go to salon if I was local. Highly recommended. I promise, you will not be disappointed.

Thanks to Belinda for a magnificent Bespoke Body massage. It was a thoroughly relaxing and luxurious 60 minutes. The Botanicals products seemed very natural and soothing too. Botanicals is tucked down a side street in Bakewell, but make sure you don't miss out. It's best to book in advance.

I had a 1hr 30min massage and facial and oh my god. I felt like I was being healed by Mother Nature herself! The most authentic and real, kind and caring staff. I had a massage by a REALLY talented woman called Jay. I left feeling transformed and so well looked after. Honestly felt reborn afterwards and loved the building, the setting, the atmosphere. Really down to earth but with SUCH high quality and standards. I’m so grateful ☺️ 🙏 Thankyou Bakewell Botanicals and Thankyou Jay for being a real life Goddess ❤️

I have been twice so far and each time Rachelle has done a fantastic job. It is a salon with a friendly and calm atmosphere so I always feel revitalised for the rest of the day on leaving. I highly recommend her services, I have had foils and a restyle and both times the resulting finish brought many compliments from my friends.

John and the team were excellent. We had a change in circumstances that meant changing the quote and work schedule which was all worked through and consulted over. The garden clearance and removal of ivy and weeds left the place looking like a whole new garden. The team went above and beyond, were honest what they could and couldn’t do and even gave some helpful advice on what to do next to maintain it. Definitely use these guys again.

John and his brother have worked miracles in our overgrown garden. He came to take a look as I saw him doing a brilliant job on a neighbours garden and asked if he could give us a quote.John suggested work that I hadn't considered but I'm so glad I took a leap of faith. They have worked so hard over two days and have been so precise, they are perfectionists. When they had finished transforming our garden they cleared everything away leaving the garden really tidy. Have been so impressed, have already asked for a quote for further work. Thanks Garden Rangers !

I was very pleased with the work Jonathan and his team did for me. Jonathan responded to my initial query quickly and gave me a very reasonable quote. For the work itself they were slightly delayed but kept me informed. The team were a nice bunch of lads who worked hard all day. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience.

I had Jess do my hair and I absolutely loved it! She's so professional, so friendly and welcoming I can't wait to go back. I was so excited when I heard Alma was opening in Matlock, I had to book in as soon as it did! The booking process was so easy, all done online & confirmation given at the end. Upon visiting Alma, I was seated at the plush sofas and given a form to fill in. Once I'd done this, I was seated at one of the nail counters. I had my nails done with bio gel by Louise. She was so lovely, really friendly and instantly made me feel comfortable. I opted for gold nails (a bit of sparkle for Christmas) and the treatment was lovely! I also had biogel toes so Louise asked me to take a seat by one of the foot spa basins. This was also lovely and I opted for navy blue which looked lush! I was also offered a drink which came with a gingerbread cookie. The salon itself is absolutely stunning - light and airy and very spa like! It's modern and classy and it's been renovated to an incredibly high standard! Prices at Alba are also super competitive! I'll definitely be visiting again and might have to book a massage soon! Thanks so much for such a lovely first visit to Alba, I'll be raving about you to all my friends and family! x

I went in with a lot of tension in neck, head and shoulders and just feeling my neck she she knew what she needed to do.
