I recently photographed a wedding at this venue and highly recommend it. Tucked away in the countryside with a picturesque lake onsite, it boasts a beautiful ceremony room where the sides can be removed during summer and fantastic teepees for the reception.

The Hidden Hive will forever be a special place for us and the help from all involved at the venue really allowed us to make it our day. No request was too much and solutions were always given if there was anything that couldn't be done. The venue itself is beautiful even on an overcast spring day. Having the ceremony and reception all at one site really allowed for the place to become apart of the day. The venue allowed us to bring a number of personal touches to the day, on top of the 5 cars full of decorations we did ourselves, we had multiple classic cars displayed, a tandem bicycle, doves, and alpacas! The venue assisted with the band we had on our day and the caterers and bar team were all top notch. Everyone working felt a part of the day which gave a great atmosphere to which we couldn't have had without!

We have just used The Hidden Hive for our daughters wedding and am pleased to say it was an amazing day. The venue itself is beautiful with loads of space all in your private area. Dani who is event manager really knows her stuff and as such made everything about the day easy. This venue is defo worth a visit if your planning an event and can guarantee it definitely has the WOW factor.

Wow wow wow !! I recently photographed a wedding here and secretly fell in love with this venue!! It is the most gorgeous setting for you to do your wedding in your way. The ceremony room is stunning and the tipis for your reception are just beautiful and in the middle of the most gorgeous grounds!! It’s a gem of a wedding venue !!

A really lovely wedding in a truly gorgeous setting! I came here with my partner for a friends wedding, and also stayed in the lodges the night after. The venue was beautifully decorated and spacious. It has a beautiful courtyard for photos to be taken after the reception. The food for the wedding breakfast and the evening was delicious with plenty to go around. The lodges themselves were nice and clean, with a comfy bed to rest after dancing all evening. The breakfast buffet in the restaurant in the morning was also delicious with lots of options. The views from the restaurant out onto the lakes were also stunning. After my experience as a guest I would definitely recommend booking your wedding here. If you’re a guest going to stay, then look forward to it!

Wow what a wedding venue, we had our day on 17/11/24 and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Victoria and the whole team went above and beyond for us to make our day perfect. From the moment we first came to see the venue, all the way through booking and the many many emails back and forth during the planning process, the team made sure we felt special all the way through. Even though it rained it down ALL day the venue was stunning and the orangery is so perfect that the photos came out perfectly. We honestly can't thank you enough. The team at Rustic were so helpful from start to finish, they provided some really helpful expertise and guidance in the initial planning process and on the day did a brilliant job of dressing our venue for both the ceremony and the breakfast - I was stunned with how wonderfully everything came together on the day! I would 100% recommend Rustic, they have saved us a huge headache and thinking space and helped us create the loveliest wedding!

My husband and I booked with the Rustic Wedding Company for the flowers & venue styling for our wedding a few weeks ago at Dodford Manor Barn and we would 100% recommend them! Lesley & her team are so professional and talented in every aspect of what they do, bringing such a breadth of knowledge which made the planning process that much easier. The communication before the day was amazing, with regular emails, a zoom consultation and an in person appointment at their showroom. All of this together made us super comfortable that everything was going to be exactly as we dreamt our wedding would be. The in person appointment we had was the most helpful to us as I was worried about how everything would look together, but Lesley made & remade (and remade) our show table until we were entirely happy with it. She was so accommodating to my indecisiveness throughout, inputting her expert opinions where necessary. On the wedding day itself, the bouquets, buttonholes & corsages were delivered to Dodford Grange before the team headed to the venue to do the rest of the setup. The flowers were beyond anything I could have imagined, so much so that I got my bridal bouquet preserved after the wedding because I just couldn’t bear to watch it die! The venue setup was completely seamless and again, beyond my wildest hopes. Everything was utter perfection in every way. We had a mixture of hired & our own decorations and team rustic set it all up, moved things between the ceremony and breakfast and then came back the next day to take it all down. They took away all of the potential stress, which was absolutely worth every penny! Thank you so much for styling us the most perfect day!

Lesley and the Rustic team did a full style for our wedding at Hothorpe the Woodlands, including all of our flowers and they were amazing! The team took our vision and made it a reality, they incorporated all of our themes perfectly in to the decor. Our guests could not stop talking about how incredible everything looked. We could not have achieved this level of perfection without Lesley! My bouquet was the most beautiful thing I've ever seen and I've made the decision to preserve some of the flowers in glass so that I can keep part of it forever. Where to begin! Amanda really is one in a million. She helped plan our wedding and I don’t know what we would have done without her. Not only is she incredibly good at what she does and thinks of everything she is also a wonderful person. She’s calm, intuitive, supportive and thoughtful all whilst being amazingly efficient. From zoom calls to site visits to being on site days before the wedding, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks and runs as best as it can. Having Amanda was one of the best decisions we made - we couldn’t recommend her more and are so grateful for everything she did and helped us with.

We recently got married at Old Gore Barn in the cotswolds, and Amanda, our wedding stylist, was an absolute dream! I honestly can’t recommend her more if you are looking for a wedding stylist. She was always available, promptly assisting us with any questions or concerns we had. She had a cool, calm, and collected vibe that made us feel at ease during the entire planning process, and we knew we could trust her entirely with brining our vision to life. She had incredible suggestions for our day of how we could include our own sourced decor with her own collection and she just went above and beyond to think about every little detail of styling for the venue. On the big day, we were truly blown away with the attention to detail and scale that Amanda was able to achieve with a tight set up time. We had our guests and other suppliers commenting what an amazing job she had done and what a genuinely gorgeous person she is to work with. If you're getting married and are considering a wedding stylist, my one suggestion is to book Amanda while you can ! Amanda is so talented and incredible at what she does. We hired Amanda for our Wedding in May 2024 as a wedding coordinator, and by far was probably the best decision we made during our planning. I honestly don’t know how our wedding would have taken place on the day without Amanda. Amanda set up all our props for our Wedding the day before / morning of, and then coordinated our day. Amanda really went above and beyond throughout the day, keeping the day on track and making sure it aligned to mine and my husband wishes. Her attention to detail was outstanding, and she really brought our vision to life. We honestly cannot say thank you enough and would absolutely recommend Amanda to anyone getting married. We got married here on 31st May 2024 and wish we could do it a hundred times over! From the minute we walked in the venue in 2022 we knew it would be the one and every moment since we've been so thrilled with our choice. The events team are out of this world and went above and beyond to make our day incredible. Nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel so special on our day. So many of our guests commented on not only how beautiful the venue was, but how incredible the team were from start to finish. They made us and our guests feel so welcome and there were so many small touches that just added that extra bit of magic. Mythe Barn holds a very special place in our hearts and we will forever be grateful to the whole team.

As a wedding photographer, I found the oak-beamed ceremony space particularly breathtaking, with its warm wood tones and natural light creating a romantic and inviting atmosphere. For outdoor ceremonies, the gardens provide a stunning setting, full of lush greenery and scenic views that make for dreamy photographs.

We got married on the 21.08.2024 and it was the most incredible day. To say the team were outstanding is an understatement! From the very start when we went to view the venue, they were so accommodating and met our every need. Our day was perfect, from coordinating to making sure we were both okay throughout the whole day the service was spectacular. The food was delicious and as we did not have a tasting session we were a little apprehensive but it blew away our expectations and all our guests were over the moon with how good it was. We were lucky enough to have our wedding at Mythe on the 1st November. What a venue. Our day was absolutely magical and we couldn’t be more thankful. From start to finish, Sophie and the team at Mythe were on hand to provide advice, guidance and support and on the day, they took care of everything. There wasn’t a moment where I needed to lift a finger and everything flowed perfectly. There is not one thing we would change about our day and the venue was perfect in achieving the autumnal venue we had hoped for. Getting ready with my bridesmaids and mother in the room upstairs with the breakfast was great, the ceremony flowed perfectly, the wedding breakfast was of high quality (even being lactose intolerant - Mythe catered for my dietaries - without changing the menu drastically!). There was limited wait time at the bar and the service was 5*. I would recommend Mythe to anyone looking for their dream wedding. Thank you so much Sophie - our dream wedding literally came true!

My partner hired this venue for my 40th birthday party and I couldn't reccomend it highly enough. The location, staff (especially Charlotte and Scott ) are just fantastic I honestly had the best time and all of my friends now want to hire this venue for their weddings. Honestly, Amy and her team can not do enough for you - after viewing multiple wedding venues Sir John Moore stood out by far - AND ITS DOG FRIENDLY!! We found it to be really friendly, accommodating and personal, nothing was too much trouble and Amy had so many great ideas. It was just so nice to not feel rushed, and to have someone that was as excited about the day as we were. There were literally no limitations for anything we'd requested, we had plenty of time to set up and to clear everything away the following day - it's really nice that weddings only happen on a Saturday so you get exclusive use rather than it feeling like a wedding factory as other venues felt and while there are amazing vendor reccomendations you can also source your own. The venue itself is super quirky, there's so much history to see around the building which our guests loved. The cellar bar is a really nice space and the museum is an added bonus which guests can have tours around. A hidden gem for sure. If you're looking for a wedding venue on beautiful grounds with character, charm and history it's perfect. We will upload more photos once we have them back 😇
