Sir John Moore is the most perfect wedding/party venue. We wanted a laid back wedding with a party vibe and that’s exactly what we got. Whatever you are looking for Sir John Moore can provide it, you will not be disappointed.

Honestly, Amy and her team can not do enough for you - after viewing multiple wedding venues Sir John Moore stood out by far - AND ITS DOG FRIENDLY!!

We found it to be really friendly, accommodating and personal, nothing was too much trouble and Amy had so many great ideas. It was just so nice to not feel rushed, and to have someone that was as excited about the day as we were.

There were literally no limitations for anything we'd requested, we had plenty of time to set up and to clear everything away the following day - it's really nice that weddings only happen on a Saturday so you get exclusive use rather than it feeling like a wedding factory as other venues felt and while there are amazing vendor reccomendations you can also source your own.

The venue itself is super quirky, there's so much history to see around the building which our guests loved. The cellar bar is a really nice space and the museum is an added bonus which guests can have tours around.

A hidden gem for sure. If you're looking for a wedding venue on beautiful grounds with character, charm and history it's perfect.

My partner hired this venue for my 40th birthday party and I couldn't reccomend it highly enough. The location, staff (especially Charlotte and Scott ) are just fantastic I honestly had the best time and all of my friends now want to hire this venue for their weddings. Cannot reccomend enough, thank you to the most wonderful staff for giving me such an incredible time
