My conure Rio had an accident over the weekend and broke his leg I called and was told to come in immediately and with the fantastic care and expertise of the Vets they managed to save the leg and splint it and after 24hrs of great care they have released him back home to me. Thanks you to all the team at Piddle Valley Vets for everything you have done for Rio 👍🏻

Really pleased with Frieda and I's experience here. Vet was amazing. Loved the conversation and mass of information he clearly had to give about how best to help my nans tortoise. Very calm environment for people and pets - having people waiting outside the building was preferable. Parking was easy and the place was quite easy to find too

Simply the best vet I have ever encountered. We travel 25 miles as have African Pygmy Hedgehogs as not many specialists around. David has performed numerous operations that defy belief and the knowledge and care provided is second to none. We are very grateful for all their efforts

Posted on behalf of Angela Walker Peacock and Fly. A very big thank you to David for all he's done for Fly over the last 10 years (he has done her proud). She has had a number of major problems; diagnosed and dealt with expertly and explained meticulously. Our consultations were never hurries, no matter how busy he happened to be. Katie has helped with Fly's physiotherapy and advice with how to manage her back problem, for which I am extremely grateful.

We have been with the clinic for years, and have never had any issues. We have found the staff friendly, and helpful. The vets seems knowledgeable and all our animals have been calm within their setting. As with all veterinary clinics the costs have spiraled, however they offer monthly plans, that cover regular flea, tick and worm treatments, and consultations.

Always excellent care for the pet, outstanding bedside manor Kate(vet). Total confidence in all the help & treatment given, which is always fair. No, unneeded treatments given, just to bump the bill up. Would like to see a small reduction in the consult fee, rather than going up!! Highly recommend over any other vet practice.

Newton Clarke Vets is absolutely fantastic, always have time for you and explains treatment and advice so you understand. Also the monthly pet plan they have is great and highly recommend joining. Best vets by far I have ever found. They are so helpful and so professional always happy to help and always treat my fur babies like their own. They were so great yesterday when we had to take our boy in after eating things he shouldn't but he got lots of cuddles from the nurse and that made him feel so much better

Absolutely brilliant service. Called this morning to make an appointment for my dog who was poorly whilst we were on holiday. Got an appointment for 8.30 next day. Then another call later to say they had a cancellation at 2.30. Vet was wonderful and after an examination prescribed tablets to help him. Thank you so much it's a weight off my mind knowing he has been seen and treatment started.

Staff are friendly, place is clean and modern. Some of the vets do a better job then others. Very expensive consulting fee, but it is owned now by Independent Vetcare Ltd and they are all about profit. Having work done at the moment which could mean fees going up. Shop around is your best better.

Thank you very much to Sabrina and her team. I needed to take my westipoo Rosie to see them as she suddenly started having seizures at 8 years old. To try and find the reason behind the seizure she needed a MRI scan to rule out tumours etc. I was referred to Cave . They saw her very quickly. They were very caring and understanding with me to ensure I had all the information I needed to manage Rosie going forward. The report was at the my vets the next day . I had a couple of questions about the report which they responded to very quickly. They even carried Rosie around when she came around from the anaesthetic as she cried every time they put her down. The results showed no abnormality so it appears to be epilepsy. They advised me on diet and on going care to ensure Rosie can live her best life.

After months of trying to find the cause of Riley’s reverse sneezing he was referred to Cave for investigations. During his day here we were well informed of the procedure and costs etc. and staff were all friendly. The specialist seemed to want to get to the bottom of the cause and fix it which was great. Riley is now back to his usual self.

Thank you so much to Carla & Team for caring for Milo on the weekend, this was his 3rd time with you due to his illness and once again the care, compassion and treatment has been phenomenal 🙏 You went above and beyond, taking the time to explain everything thoroughly despite me being in a complete daze ..... sorry just devastated at his decline that was so rapid it was so frightening. Without your dedication I doubt very much he'd still be here, I honestly can't thank you enough. My little warrior is doing well, he's bright, very sleepy, taking his meds some with ham for bribery purposes 🙈 steady walks 💙🐾

Very nice practice, very nice vet team, however due to unforeseen difficulties with our dog, which resulted in lots of pain, bleeding & eventually another emergency vet followed by an out of county referral to a wound specialist. Over the last 3 weeks. Costing us so much more than our own insurance limit. He is still not out of the woods yet. Despite one of the team not being too concerned about our dog’s condition when his lower front legs began to swell & his abdomen began to show signs of what turned into necrosis of his skin, one week after initial unprecedented dog bite. We are optimistic.

My Nelly has had a few issues and had to have an emergency op due to eating a fish hook! She was referred by Castle to a vet hospital and it was arranged very quickly. I can't fault the team at both Dorchester Road and Poundbury at all. Reasonably priced in vet terms I think and I would highly recommend.

My dog was spayed yesterday, as you can imagine I was very anxious. The nurse was excellent she explained exactly what was going to happen, she let me know when my dog came round from the operation and when I could collect her. The nurse brought her out to me and even carried her to the car. I cannot praise this nurse enough the operation went well and me dog is recovering well, so thank you to the vet and many thanks to all the staff. I can't recommend this practice enough especially after the problem with my last vet. Thank you

We had to use Bredy Vet Centre in an emergency whilst on holiday is dorset for our dog Poppy. Poppy needed xrays for an injury, the vet and nurse were fantastic, very welcoming and understanding. They explained everything to us from start to finish and looked after Poppy for the day. Also the receptionists were friendly and efficient. We would highly recommend this veterinary Practice.

We had to visit Bredy Vets with our poorly cocker spanial whilst on holiday. I have to say the service we received from start to finish was fantastic. From the initial call from the reception team the nurse and Jon the vet he explained everything fully and in simple terms. Ordered in special food and went above and beyond. Wish our local vets where half as good. Would not hesitate to recommend these guys. Thanks for everything you did for us. James

Since I first enlisted the care and attention this veterinary process gives is phenomenal. They took fantastic care of my mums dog and handled her with care and sensitivity. Unfortunately, my mums dog Roma had to be laid to rest and The Kingston Veterinary helped her to rest. After a couple of weeks they even sent my mum a sympathy card and some plant seeds so that roma could live on through the life of the earth and have a beautiful remembrance. Thank you very much Kingston Veterinary for all your support and expertise - mentally and physically.

Exceptional Veterinary Practice. Although I have been a client for many years, my dog Jack seldom needs care. Recently however he was suffering a gland problem.. Jack is an imported rescue and the BVA recommend a safeguarding procedure (blood test) prior to any surgery in such cases due to possible Brucellosis infection. I was uncertain of the benefits, but was able to have a practical and sensible discussion with Giles, beforehand Jack had the procedure under sedation & Giles whipped out a loose back tooth too. Jack is not insured, but I was given an estimate of cost at our initial consultation which matched our final invoice. Thank you Giles, it seems to have done the trick and Jack has forgiven you (almost!)
