Work initially to rectify guttering issues but uncovered significant damage to soffit boards, so the job was immediately extended to take advantage of the scaffolding already erected. All the extra work was appropriate, confirmed by initial photos of the damage and an accompanied visit to the high working platform, then promptly completed. Always communicative, helpful and professional, the team left the site swept and tidy. Would certainly engage them again if needed.

Upon researching them further, we did not think that some of them would be around for the next 20 years to honour their guarantees. A surveyor friend recommended TCK (who have been around since 1969 and long may they prosper!) Thomas (one of many talented and charming brothers) came along and talked me thru possible problems and the need for insulation etc. I had skylights built in and we discussed changing them to triple glazed glass. Although their quote was dearer than the others, it was worth paying the premium. Chris (another brother)- relaxed and meticulous in managing his team, some who have been with TCK for over a decade supervised the work and got stuck in as well. His team were professional, hardworking and experienced. Health & Safety was prioritised with fire extinguishers placed by the bitumen boiler etc. The job wasn’t rushed, on site problems were pointed out & remedied including spotting a TV ariel that had caused a chimney to move!. Photographs were provided to document the work and Warranty certificates provided immediately after payment. So, refreshing to experience tradecraft and courtesy in this day & age. Highly recommended we had a VELUX window installed and lead flashings replaced on on the roof of our garage conversion good competitive and sensible quote, very quick to respond to any enquiries and kept updated at every stage, the installation was very professional by highly knowledgeable staff who cleared the site upon completion would definitely use Empire if needed in the future.

Empire responded to the job posting very quickly and Chris was able to attend my house the very next morning to assess the problem and I had an estimate for the work by that lunch time. After agreeing to the estimate, the work was booked in to be completed within a few days, scaffolders arrived on the next Wednesday and two men arrived to fix the roof leak the following day. The workers were extremely polite and communicated consistently as they removed the roof tiles and eventually uncovered where the leak was coming from. They replaced some of the wet batons and then replaced the roof, adding in new tiles to replace the broken ones that caused the leak, and a few other weak looking tiles. The roof was fixed just in time before a very large storm hit the area the following weekend, which was a good test to see if the problem had indeed been resolved, which it had. The whole experience was quick and painless, resulting in a permanent fix and at a competitive price. I would have no hesitation in recommending Empire UPVC to my friends and family should the need arise.

I dealt with Chris and he advised me of what needed to be done to fix leaky gutters and answered all my questions related to it. APPRECIATION REVIEW ** With the bad weather last week my kitchen ceiling came through due to a flat roof leak. I called John who responded quickly and arrived to carry out a survey the following day, turned out we had a chocked outlet which jack unblocked and installed a patch to keep us watertight until the renewal. Great company to deal with and great results. Sent John a request to clean the guttering on a rental property and he responded promptly with a reasonable price. A member of he’s team could attend the property within a week and did so. We had a really good experience with john. We bought a new house this year (2025) and quickly realised that we had a problem with leaks in the roof. Our roof is an old one and turns out that it was pretty neglected. John and his men turned up and honestly did an excellent job with constant video footage of the work being done and advice on how we could improve our situation. In short, my experience with Lee Roofing Services was simply outstanding. Isaiah and the team worked on my house just after I purchased it. They identified an issue causing water ingress, lifted the entire roof off the house to fix it and completed ancillary work around my chimney and gutters (all in 5 days!).They were complete professionals from start to finish and communicated clearly to us throughout the job. Whilst leaning out of a dormer window I discovered one of our very heavy slate tiles had completely detached and was likely to slide down onto the driveway below either smashing a car or worse killing someone. I immediately looked into hiring a cherry a picker to access the roof safely and using a handyman to silicon the tile into place. Half day rental was £595+vat and would be a nightmare to arrange. I decided to find a roofing company thinking maybe an expert might be the better option. I texted Radlett Roofing and immediately received a response and a much better price than the option above. Even better was the promise of completing the job the next morning - putting my mind at rest. They arrived first thing and sorted it easily. They also spotted and photographed two broken further tiles to show me, one of which was already resting in the gutter. They sorted all of it within the original quote, and were courteous and tidy. Will definitely be using them again!

Had a card through the door saying that Radlett Roofing would be in the area doing cleaning and repairing gutters. As it happened I needed a repair to a joint in my gutters. Called them on Thursday around 4pm. had agreed an estimate, and they were with me 9am next mromning. William looked at the work and realised it was an easir repair than I described.
