“Lovely place to visit with your family. Restaurant atmosphere is fabulous, traditional decor. Food was amazingly delicious. Highly recommend for chicken tikka biryani and butter chicken. They served Chinese cuisine as well. Highly recommended.”

“Fantastic street food setup! A great way to discover new cuisines and try different street food establishments. I love that it promotes a variety of cuisines and always gets such a great turnout. Definitely the best place to go for street food in the Midlands. I attended the one held at Coventry cathedral ruins, which had a great array of vendors, a DJ and a lovely cathedral back drop. Had some amazing street food from Cleopatra's Kitchen Solihull (best middle Eastern food I've eaten) and beef on the block (beautifully cooked tender melt in the mouth steak).”

“Really quirky mix of Asian and western industrial decor, and the most phenomenal food. We had the special, which was pancakes with burgers, chicken, cheese and all the trimmings. We paired it with miso fries and salt, pepper wings. Utterly gorgeous, and coupled with the attentive friendly service, I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Digbeth.”

“Went on Friday as soon as it opened for the bottomless pancake deal. For £5 you can have as many pancakes as you want in 90 minutes. It's an extremely good deal considering one plate of pancakes is usually £9.50! The Bischoff and vanilla ice cream pancakes were sickly sweet but delicious, as were the fruit pancakes! Together, we got through 5 plates of pancakes, 2 plates of Bischoff and 3 plates of fruit pancakes! We definitely made use of the deal! All delicious, and service was good, except at the end when they tried to charge us, perhaps 'mistakenly' £9.50 each instead of £5, but we pointed this out and it was soon rectified. Would definitely recommend making use of this deal!”

“*Updated review* After having a less than positive experience, we went back to give this restaurant another chance to show us why they are renowned for their dining experiences. We couldn’t have been more pleased at the improvement! Blane and Tasha were just two of the staff who really went out of their way to ensure we had a wonderful time. The lobster brioche was an absolute highlight, highly recommended, along with the breakfast loose leaf tea. The cappuccino was among the best I’ve had; strong and creamy. Oat milk was available for the lactose intolerant member of our group. My daughter recommended the carrot cake as the best item in the afternoon tea. We were given full information on allergens and the risk of cross contamination for our gluten free daughter, and they are accredited by Coeliac UK, which gave us extra reassurance. The scones were a little hard having been over microwaved, but the staff immediately fetched fresh ones for us on request. We had a lovely table looking out on to the church and watching shoppers go by, and the table was decorated beautifully. The main menu items (burgers) were well presented and tasty. Shauna really restored our faith in Browns and we can say we had a great pre-theatre experience and could now recommend to others. The service could not have been more different to our previous visit, and we felt very welcome and comfortable this time.”

“We LOVED our dinner at the Botanist and highly recommend it. First of all, the cauliflower is the best of our lives! The halloumi fries and gambas were also really good. The Peri Peri chicken was so good and dang those veggies were perfect too. We loved every drink esp the porn star martini and the lavender lemon Collins. The wait and bar staff were amazing. It was such a wonderful experience!”
