“A fantastic atmosphere and a very good service and food. The wine flight is superbly matched to the food and provides some I testing and wonderful pairings. Highly recommend, though expensive, even by Michelin stared restaurant standards. On the whole, worth the expense.”

“Great cocktails and food! Can’t go wrong with Tattu. I love the espresso martini here and my fave food is the duck pancakes. So many options on the menu and I’ve always enjoyed trying new dishes here. The venue is beautiful with pink blossom trees everywhere. Service is good and I would go back again.”

Turtle Bay Birmingham

“What a vibe in here! Great tunes and food - service is absolutely off the charts amazing! They also offer a blue lights discount for certain workers which is wicked. The food is so flavourful, comes out promptly and never disappoints. So filling and satisfying to eat. In a lively area in town so you can go for a drink/ night out and fit this place in instantly. Adjacent to new street station this is the perfect place for something different food-wise. The jerk is amazing and I'd recommend any seafood dish - especially the seafood soul bowl which has perfect rice, filling greens, juicy prawns, tons of calamari, a generous slice of salmon, topped with a shrimp. WOW!!! Every dish has variety and flavour, making it really filling! Cocktails are a hit, too - I'd go for a coconut milk concoction.”

“Some of the best tapas I’ve ever had. The grilled steak with two sauces was a joy. Portion sizes were very generous as well. Just wonderful. Eating at Independent restaurants like this is important. But when they serve food of this quality it’s essential.”

“As it is my 50th birthday tomorrow I decided to treat myself to a meal at the restaurant. I went for the tasting menu and wine flight. I was not disappointed, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The whole team were amazing. I thought it was a nice touch that the owner/chef Kray came to the table to deliver the food and explain the dishes. The music was eclectic and had something for everyone. Was my best fine dining experience to date. Looking forward to trying the menu and in the summer.”

“Fantastic street food setup! A great way to discover new cuisines and try different street food establishments. I love that it promotes a variety of cuisines and always gets such a great turnout. Definitely the best place to go for street food in the Midlands. I attended the one held at Coventry cathedral ruins, which had a great array of vendors, a DJ and a lovely cathedral back drop. Had some amazing street food from Cleopatra's Kitchen Solihull (best middle Eastern food I've eaten) and beef on the block (beautifully cooked tender melt in the mouth steak).”

Original Patty Men

“Slightly off the beaten track location but well worth the visit. Staff and service was friendly and helpful, the American staff member is probably the most hospitable person in Birmingham! Margaritas are a MUST try 9.9/10 Food was 9.5/10 and we had the beef burger, tofu burger and loaded fries plus slaw. Slaw wasn’t the best we’ve had but everything else was delicious! First tofu burger that was super crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and not dry!!! Nice selection of soft drinks as well plus a specials board worth looking at (planning to come back for the cauliflower wings) Definitely worth the trek 🤤”
