As it is my 50th birthday tomorrow I decided to treat myself to a meal at the restaurant. I went for the tasting menu and wine flight. I was not disappointed, the food was outstanding and the service was excellent. The whole team were amazing. I thought it was a nice touch that the owner/chef Kray came to the table to deliver the food and explain the dishes. The music was eclectic and had something for everyone. Was my best fine dining experience to date. Looking forward to trying the menu and in the summer.
My experience at 670 grams was wonderful, it is so much more than just about the food, it’s the ambience and the environment that also make it. All of the staff are extremely knowledgeable, and friendly. Each dish is explained, you’re attentively taken care of and if you had additional requests I don’t think they would see that as a problem. One thing I’d love to highlight which I haven’t seen from other reviews is that 670 grams do offer a vegetarian or pescatarian tasting menu! I had a phone call from the restaurant the night before my reservation to confirm dietary requirements/allergies which is when I found out about this! All of the food was incredible, very well executed and the combinations of flavours were spot on. The chefs clearly put a lot of passion, time and energy into creating each dish and it shows from the presentation to the taste. This is the perfect place for a special occasion or a treat!
Wonderful experience! I've been to other high end restaurants in Birmingham but 670 grams is just sheer delight. Kray and his team work hard on creating a feast for your senses. I think even the background music is chosen with the idea of matching the various gorgeous plates. Kudos to Rumi and his colleague, always helpful and accommodating. They deserve a chance to be experienced and to grow. Thank you. Adrian
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly exceptional dining experience that exemplifies the pinnacle of fine cuisine. The carefully curated pottery plates, bowls, and cutlery are thoughtfully designed, adding an artisanal touch that enhances the overall dining experience. The culinary offerings are nothing short of extraordinary. The restaurant presents a series of experimental dishes that showcase an innovative fusion of diverse cultural influences. Despite their global inspirations, the dishes predominantly feature locally sourced ingredients from Birmingham, highlighting a commitment to sustainability while maintaining an unwavering focus on creativity and flavor. Each plate is a testament to the artistry of the kitchen, with flavors that are as delectable as they are inventive. Equally impressive is the level of service. The staff are not only attentive but also exceptionally knowledgeable, taking the time to explain the nuances of each dish with precision and care. Their professionalism ensures that the entire dining experience is both informative and enjoyable. This establishment delivers a Michelin star-worthy fine dining experience, blending impeccable food, service, and ambiance into an unforgettable evening. Highly recommended for those seeking a refined, innovative, and unforgettable culinary journey.
