⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We recently had the pleasure of dining at Pasture, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm, modern, and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed evening out. But what truly elevated our evening was the impeccable service from our waiter, Mo. Mo was an absolute gem—attentive without being overbearing, incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely passionate about the food. His recommendations were spot on, and he made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. He added a personal touch to our meal that made it all the more special. The food at Pasture was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was artfully presented and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully sourced, and it’s clear that the kitchen takes great pride in crafting each plate with care and creativity. From the starters to the desserts, everything was perfection. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, Pasture is a must-visit. And if you’re lucky enough to have Mo as your server, you’re in for an even more memorable night. We can’t wait to return!

Went out for a team meal here and all were impressed with the food. One colleague ordered the beef burger which he describes as a filling dirty burger with a lot of cheese, another colleague had sirloin and mac and cheese, the highlight being the mac and cheese. I had the chicken which was juicy with good flavour, I would have preferred a slightly bigger portion. The décor is very nice with the steak wall that you can see in the picture provided which is their refrigerator room on display. The kitchen is partially visible which can also be a nice touch. Staff are very friendly and accommodating.

My experience was spectacular! All thanks to Priya! She was lovely, very honest and nice, she gave her recommendations which was amazing by the way. She deserves a pay rise. The food was amazing and the wait was around 20-30 minutes which was worth it for the amazing food we had!

A Memorable Anniversary Celebration Last Friday, we celebrated our wedding anniversary at Pasture, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the porterhouse steak, which we ordered medium. It was cooked to perfection, with a flavorful crust on the outside and a juicy, tender interior. Each bite was a delightful mix of rich, savory flavors that truly showcased the quality of the steak. Equally impressive was the service we received from Marta, our server for the evening. She was attentive, friendly, and made sure that every aspect of our dining experience was flawless. Marta’s professionalism and cheerful demeanor added a personal touch to our celebration, making us feel genuinely valued as guests. Overall, the combination of exquisite food and exceptional service made our anniversary dinner a memorable one. We will definitely be returning to this steakhouse and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience.

Came last night for the first time and was thoroughly impressed by how nice the restaurant looks and the great service by the guy waiting on our table. Unfortunately I have to agree with some of the reviews that the patties were a bit thin and crispy on the ends, therefore, lacking a bit in flavour. The chips and milkshakes were lovely! Something I think can easily be worked on for future customers. Other than that, it’s a lovely new spot in Stirchley

Just had my 5th Burger Me Up since the opening of their Stirchley site. Each and every time I have been left utterly filled with delicious food, taste buds tingling with flavour, and the knowledge that I've had the best burger in Birmingham. The burgers are 11/10, the chicken tendies are out of this world, and the fries are unbeatable. Whatever your craving, I cannot recommend Burger Me Up enough.

Food 4 & 1 /2 The ketchup wasn't Heinz. Everything else was on point. I ate the burger before having a chance to take a photo. Too bad I've only got one stomach. Service 7 out of 5 Exquisite service. Kids menu and a colouring page for kids. The friendliest staff that I've come across to date in the UK. Customised bags and boxes. Atmosphere 5 out of 5 Easy going music, semi-dimmed lights, excellent Samsung air-con. Comfortable seats, clean floor, clean tables, an atmosphere candle on the table, bathroom stocked. Can't fault it.

Tried this for lunch with some friends after noticing it had recently opened. Service was friendly and we all really enjoyed our rice bowls. Also got to try corn dogs for the first time which were great! Price was definitely reasonable so will be returning in future.

Great addition to the high street! Nice selection of noodles & rice bowls, service was amazing, the young lad kept bringing little samples of rice cakes & teriyaki garlic to try! Atmosphere was great, even better when the lights went down. Hope they do well :)

This place reminds me of Korean snack bars, and I absolutely loved it! It feels just like a Korean convenience store~ The self-service bar made me miss Korea even more 🥹. It was amazing to enjoy authentic Korean street food here! Everything was so delicious!

We had such a good experience at MMG. The staff were absolutely lovely, so friendly and sweet! The food was really delicious. It was fresh and tasty with good sized portions for very reasonable prices. We will definitely be going back! I'm sure this place will soon be a popular choice in Stirchley.

Lovely food, excellent vegetarian selection but plenty for meat lovers too. The couple who run the restaurant are so nice and accommodating. A very nice addition to Stirchley, highly recommended!

Tried this new restaurant and the food was so good and big portions. The owners were really friendly and I was really impressed with the level of service and the food was tasty and freshly cooked. Would definitely go there again, worth a visit if heading to Stirchley in Birmingham.

Delicious authentic Nepalese food on Stirchley high street. If you need a momo fix then look no further, the momos are delicious and the portions are hearty. The curries are also really flavourful and there is plenty of choice on the menu. Great for vegetarians with lots of options available. The owners are absolutely lovely!

Second time visiting this restaurant and 1st time after the refurb. The refurb is definitely made the whole experience much better as there is so much more room. You can see from the picture we were sat in a new booth which was nice. The food like the 1st time was very nice, the honest review is that it all tastes fresh. Waiters are very helpful to advise how many dishes to get and which dishes are popular. There was even a special dish that we ordered that was not on the menu. Trying to find parking can be an issue. There are vegetarian options however the menu does not state which are therefore you need to ask, it would be ideal if the menu had the (v) or (vg) next to the dish.

Our first visit to tropea and we will definitely be back! The food was incredible, the burrata and mussels were particularly amazing, as well as the tiramisu. The atmosphere is lovely in there and the servers are all so knowledgeable and attentive, the service from Asher was particularly great! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, it isn’t cheap but definitely worth it for a treat or special occasion

Was extremely pleased with this restaurant and staff were very friendly from the moment you enter. I had some booking issues but was able to resolve them quickly through email and received a prompt call to follow my issue. The solution was clearly explained and made it easy to find an alternative. In terms of food, everything was delicious and well plated. Food came out in a timely manner and more surprisingly, menus also included a small message celebrating the occasion! Truly get a taste of every dish if you can but if not, get the Arancino and salt aged-beef fillet carpaccio for starters. For pasta, the linguine with red prawns was tangy and flavoursome but meat lovers would enjoy the Tagliatelle with venison shoulder ragu. The grilled octopus was delightful and meaty and balanced well with the roasted pumpkin with ricotta. Dessert is certainly difficult to choose but the tiramisu was wonderful, fluffy but also still maintained the coffee flavour well! The panna cotta was amazingly refreshing with rhubarb and wafer~ Only thing that isn’t really a negative but just funny was a slight change to my name but honestly made the experience more memorable. I really appreciate the effort and care in every detail to ensure comfort and ease whilst dining! Overall glad I came and shoutout to the team there for making this service amazing from beginning to end! You all deserve a lot of love 🫶🏼

A hidden gem! This place is absolutely amazing.!! We came to celebrate my husbands birthday tonight and all the little touches they did was so so lovely. The menu had the date on and a happy birthday message and they also gave him a happy birthday plate for dessert. We thought that we wouldn’t be full after the meal but we was surprised how full you get with sharing food. The starters were just delicious- would 💯 recommend the salt aged beef 🤗. The pasta - would 💯recommend trying the Sardinian fregola, it was something we had never heard of and tasted heavenly. All the food was just to die for. The Tuscan ribollota was comfort in a bowl - the grilled monk fish - exquisite🤩. We will definitely be back. 🤗🤗 The service 10/10 Lizzy you was amazing 🤩

Called in for the first time on Saturday. It was near to closing time so just had a coffee and a blonde. Louie was an absolute delight. So friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back to try the meals.

What a gem this place is. Had a beautiful sourdough egg Benedict breakfast and delicious cappuccino. Was spoilt for choice what to have. Other brunch’s being served looked equally scrumptious. Management / staff are so friendly and welcoming. Deceptively spacious with loads more tables in second dining area behind serving counter. Thoroughly recommmend

I visited today and was welcomed into a warm and cosy bistro! What a hidden gem this place is. We ordered coffee to start which was one of the best coffees around. We then decided to look at the menu and order some breakfast, I had the Belfast breakfast and my friend had the sol breakfast. Both of these were faultless and delicious! We sat relaxed and enjoyed our time here . We needed to head off as we were meeting family friends on the other side of Birmingham but we would easily sit there all day! 100% recommend and really encourage people to go and support them! Can't wait to visit again very soon 😊

Absolutely delicious food, the best houmous I've had in a while. Plenty of vegetarian options (so many I took a while to choose!) and all very reasonably priced. Despite a filling meal, we found room for baclava and kaidifi and were very glad we did. Thank you very much, we will definitely be back! ❤️

Amazing Persian food in Selly Oak. The atmosphere is lovely with beautiful plates decorating the walls. The menu is varied with many great options. The meats were tender and tasty. I can highly recommend the jerk chicken. Sides were plentiful and tasty. Good drink options available as well as desserts. The restaurant is tight but should be accessible. There are two tiny steps as you enter via the 2 doors.

Just wonderful!! We came here on a whim with the family and we were delighted by the place. The staff were very friendly and attentive, the place feels cosy and the food is the absolute star! The meat skewers are super tender and taste fantastic. The starters are so good you could struggle to save room for the mains!

It is a nice and cozy restaurant that offers mainly Persian(AKA Iranian) Kababs. The service is fine and the quality of kababs was really good. However, don't expect a spacious restaurant with big tables if you're heading there with a big group so make sure you book the tables beforehand. Long story short, I suggest the place for experiencing their Kabab dishes.

Nice relaxing, romantic atmosphere. Food was phenomenal and so soulful. Cocktails were not just your average premix they are made with an extensive knowledge of flavour and style. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back.

Save this to your 'MUST VISIT' list because if you don't you are missing out. The menu features the perfect mix of tapas classic such as Spanish chicken & chorizo stew and croquetas, as well as dishes with a modern twist like their duck breast with morello cherry and red wine jus. WE ADORED THIS DISH! We enjoyed a gorgeous bottle of wine and obvious we had to have some cocktails. There's timeless classics and some really creative original recipes. If you like dessert style cocktails you're in for a treat. We love a whisky and enjoyed a delicately smoked Old Fashioned. They have a selection of woods to choose from for your smoke which we just LOVED. The little touches and the careful thought that has gone into both the drinks and food menu really reflect the passion of the team and make a big difference. We are heading back in a few weeks and can't wait to try the arancini and fabada. Get yourself booked in asap

What an absolutely stunning meal! We really rated that there was a great selection of veggie and vegan options with some dishes that we hadn't tried before. Everything we tried was so fresh and delicious, but our favourite dishes were the Croquetas, Salantourmasi, Mango & Feta Salad and Lamb Koftas... Although the Churros stole the show, and were the nicest Churros we think we've ever eaten!!! The Sangria was absolutely delicious. When the karafe arrived I thought it would be too much but I quite happily glugged it down with my meal - refreshing and boozy, the perfect combination! The restaurant has a welcoming and cosy vibes, which we loved. Alex and Peter were such pros, you can tell they have been in the restaurant industry for a long time with their effortless hospitality and attention to detail! We really enjoyed our meal here and would happily return to try more of the menu, which rotates as the seasons change. And also for the Churros... They are worth driving to another city for alone!!!

Had a really lovely dinner here, picking between a couple of small plates. They change their menus but the tender stem broccoli and steak dishes they had when I visited were particularly superb, as was the Guinness cake dessert. Service was also friendly and efficient so I will happily revisit.

I was sure I'd left a review last time, but apparently not!! And I'm glad, as I wanted to shout about how amazing the food was this evening.. And now I can! We went for the whole menu between 2.5 people. In the first wave of food I actually said "Oh shut up, that's ridiculous". I know it's an ever changing menu, so I almost feel bad saying how good the carrot caesar salad was, as you may not get to try it... but if it's on the menu, don't miss it! My son devoured the kale! And the feta, broccoli and romesco, blooming brilliant! And the verbellini. I'm going to stop listing everything I ate now. But it was cracking.

Next level Sunday roast I’ve helped make Sunday roasts since I was knee high to my father. I know, from my family’s efforts, what a good Sunday roast should be. So I thought. I sat in the comfortable, bright setting of Verbena to be entertained by a taste sensation. I ordered the pork belly with apple sauce served with yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, roasted carrots & parsnips, cauliflower cheese, braised red cabbage, buttered greens, house vindaloo & gravy. The attention to detail of the taste, texture profile of every ingredient. It made me react in a contradicting manner. On the one hand, I applauded it. On the other I felt unhappy that my Sunday roast efforts weren’t anywhere near this level. The meal, the contemporary, classy setting. It’s a bargain for a £16 tour de force roast. I would love to meet the chef one day and thank her for elevating such an iconic meal.

Lovely little restaurant with very friendly staff. This was our second time here. Nice small menu with seasonal and fresh ingredients and enough options for a vegetarian. Good selection of wines and some cocktails as well. Very nice place for small groups or couples who like to taste different flavours and share small plates. Would definitely recommend!
