We had a lovely Sunday lunch, Ruby the waitress was hands on and friendly, few hiccups but nothing to major, considering how busy the pub was. Starter and mains were delish. We will be returning again. The magician was a great little treat. Highly recommend
Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️
Wish I could give more stars. This is how a pub meal should be done. Incredibly good food served piping hot. Amazing service. Wish it was my local as I'd be here all the time. 10/10 from me. Thanks
A really nice country pub nestled on the edge of Chorleywood common. Welcoming staff, friendly service, and excellent food. We had a lovely lunch. Fair price too.
