I emailed ahead of time to ask for gluten free options (I have coeliacs) and the team were really welcoming-there is plenty available. Service was great, food was so good, atmosphere was brilliant. Much improved since our last visit a few weeks back, the new management are great. Thanks for having us all!
Very good experiance very calm environment to enjoy a very good steak and a lovely dessert! Staff were amazing very smily and friendly espesially george whom looked after our table x
Food was absolutely fantastic. Best meal I’ve had so far this year. Pub is nice and cosy too, friendly staff and reasonable beer selection.
New light through old windows! A lovely welcome from Freddie, Beth, Phoebe and all the staff (you know who you are!) on the reopening of the King Stag under new management. Still a friendly local pub, now an offshoot of the Royal Oak on Watford Heath, in itself a great venue. Haven't tried the food as yet, although the menu is very tempting! Enjoyed a few glasses of beer and house wine in a very convivial environment. 10/10 to the new owners and we wish them every success. Cheers! John and Sha 👍
