John was always friendly and committed. He was interested in the areas of maths my daughter wanted to focus on and had a patient and encouraging style. He was generous with his time. Very happy, thank you. To update , my daughter has received her maths grade and from being concerned about reaching a certain grade, she surpassed this and was well on the way to achieving the grade above.

We were really pleased with the experience we had with Andy tutoring science and John tutoring maths. My daughter had struggled with these subjects and the 1-2-1 tutoring really helped her. Both tutors were patient and explained the subjects in a relatable way which really made a difference. Both were very personable, encouraging and enthusiastic about their subjects and also their advice and encouragement helped her general exam technique and enabled her to achieve a grade which we were all pleased with. I contacted Andy as we were concerned about my son getting the grade required in GCSE English for his preferred A-levels. With Karen’s dedicated support, he absolutely nailed it! We are delighted, if also a little shocked, that his grade for English Language was in fact the highest grade he achieved across all his subjects! Regarding the Maths support Roy gave, my son really enjoyed working with him and what Roy did was much appreciated. I am certain this has positively affected my son's grade and was the right decision to pursue. It clearly benefitted him in terms of his maths understanding and conversancy for his Physics A-Level and also associated levels of maths understanding and cognitive ability / maths type problem solving skills in general. Sarah is a wonderful tutor who is always approachable, kind and understanding. After the covid lockdowns my daughter really struggled with her confidence in maths, but over the last year we have seen a huge improvement. She got full marks in her multiplication tables test this year and is performing above average in her last tests. My daughter loves going on Friday afternoons and is so much more confident and happy. As a parent I cannot recommend Sarah enough.
