Everything about my tutoring experience with James has been amazing! He is very friendly, highly encouraging regarding my French studies and with his support, I have grown increasingly confident in my linguistic abilities and my passion for languages. Initially, I felt underprepared for my IRP but having James as a tutor ensured total confidence in my abilities as he knows the exam requirements very well. From my mocks in January where I was at an E, and then joining James in mid February, I was able to increase my grade to a high C for my exams in June/July. I believe if I was more confident in my other subject it could’ve easily been a B. His way of teaching seems so personal and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this. I had never been able to find a tutor in Spanish that could adapt to every single one of my problems but James could. If you’re debating a tutor don’t wait until it’s too late like I did because if you join James early I guarantee he will significantly improve your grade, and the earlier you join the easier your progress will feel.

James is a great language tutor! With his help I was able to boost my confidence in speaking Spanish and he really helped me prepare for my A level speaking exam. He thoroughly knows the syllabus which means he was able to answer any last minute queries. There was no stone left unturned and I was provided with in-depth docs with all grammar points and example essay structures. He is very knowledgeable, organized and friendly. James is absolutely amazing! My grades improved so much in each of my exams in such a short amount of time. Not only did my Spanish improve, but I was able to dedicate more time to my other subjects instead of trying to constantly compensate for what my teachers had missed in the course.
