The digital lock on my safe broke, after a quick discussion, we agreed an appointment. They arrived on time, (called before with an ETA), the operative was polite and professional the whole time, safe opened and new lock installed complete with demonstration. No mess left behind and cheaper than all the other quotes I received - highly recommended! 🤩

Highly recommend 5 star service. My daughter has an MG and had lost her fob key and the spare key was not programmed to start the engine. MG dealer wanted the car towed in and couldn’t provide an emergency access key. Chase came out same day to the car, programmed a new fob key (better than original key) and programmed the spare. Incredible service from Styn. Got locked out and he couldn’t get to me straight away so he gave me some tips to try and fix the problem myself first. What a decent man. When you have an emergency you worry about what it’s going to cost you but Styn isn’t there to rip you off, he has very reasonable prices if you need him and is most importantly kind and decent! I know where I’ll be going and sending everyone who needs help in the future.

On Saturday morning I found myself locked out of my own house for an hour as the key wouldn’t turn. There had been no hint of a problem before then. Eventually, I got it to work and tested it several times but by now I was afraid it might do it again, so on a recommendation, I visited Lock Stock and Barrell and explained the problem. The young man in the shop was very well-informed and helpful and booked an engineer to come and sort it out. The engineer, Gary phoned before he turned up, and was punctual, polite, friendly and professional. He replaced the barrel with an improved model, told me how to maintain it and left me feeling completely reassured. I thought the price was reasonable for the peace of mind it gave me. I will use Lock Stock and Barrell again if I need them and will be confident about recommending them to others. They are a local business to be proud of. Thanks, Gary and thanks LSB.

Great experience. They had set out the shop to be wheelchair and pram accessible, so I was able to get inside with ease. There are no steps and wide aisles. Great customer service and great key cutting. Will be my go to place from now on.

Great service. Went to Timpsons first who were rude, couldn't do the job as they needed to order both the house key and the car key. House keys were £35 each, car key £60 (stated its impossible to just do the key blade). Came to Lock stock and barrel and got 2 house keys and car key blade for £35!!! Very professional service, quick and friendly. Will come here again!!

Called Stuart and he arrived half an hour later. After a quick assessment of a broken lock and two pvc doors that were mis-aligned he quoted a fair price and was able to do the work on the spot, including make two copies for another key, as he has mobile key-cutting gear. If needed I would happily use him again and definitely recommend his helpful and friendly service.

Very quick, prompt and profesional. He came in about 10min. He presented to me the profesional ID + driving licence as a first step and didn't expect it, but that definitely showed that he is professional indeed. My neighbour locked himself out of his flat on Easter Sunday morning. Nightmare day to do it !! He had tried several companies on Checkatrader but was getting high prices and long (or non existent) waiting times. I suggested he tried more locally and found Shawn. He was prompt and so friendly. Explained he was on another job and would come asap. He did. He explained why he was doing what he did to get in and charged a very reasonable price. I can't recommend Shawn highly enough. He fixed a broken lock mechanism on an exterior door, which involved removing the door and negotiating a lot of problems. Nothing was too much trouble, and what must have been a frustrating task was approached with great positivity. He communicated what was wrong and what was needed to fix it. His charge was very reasonable for providing such a skilful service. Delighted to have found him!
