Our garden was in real need of a makeover. The sleepers and fence panels were rotten, the flower beds were overgrown, the paving was uneven and on two levels - and the garden just generally wasn’t safe for our toddler to play out in. We wanted a modern, low maintenance and safe area, and Jason at JJ Landscapes & Ponds listened to our needs and gave us exactly what we were after. We had all of the fence panels and some of the concrete posts replaced, Indian stone laid and artificial grass. Due to access, the team had to do the dig out by hand (and there were actually 3 layers of paving!) – but they got through it in no time and with no complaints. The team worked so hard through both blistering heat and pouring rain and were polite, friendly, professional. There is tree which is encroaching on to our boundary from our neighbour’s – and despite this, they’ve done a fantastic job with the fencing and the replacement posts that we needed. The Indian stone paving and artificial grass fitted our ‘modern, low maintenance and safe’ brief perfectly and looks stunning. We initially only wanted a small, paved area from our patio doors, but Jason suggested extending it as we could put a bench or some chairs there in addition to our planned seating area at the back. This was a great idea and one we hadn’t thought of. So, make sure you do consider his recommendations as we would have regretted going with a smaller paved area. We are all absolutely over the moon with our new garden and have spent every free moment in it when we’ve had the weather to enjoy it. Thank you so much JJ Landscapes & Ponds!

Really pleased with the work Mark did. The back garden was looking a bit neglected and the hedge was out of control. Turned up on time and totally cleared all the weeds, cut the hedge and tidied the lawn. Left it tidy as well. Very reliable person. The hedge is wonky because I trimmed it badly btw. Gradually regrowing out it's humps.

Wonderful work carried out in my garden today. Very professional, prompt and polite. Had several bits to be done but no job was to big or small. The tree looks fantastic and the fencing looks brilliant. Even the ivy has been fully tamed.

Cannot recommend Hunter Gardens highly enough. They transformed our dangerous, crumbling concrete garden path into a centre piece fitting the period of our house. They worked relentlessly through a wet and cold winter to finish the path and still managed to finish it to an incredibly high standard. We recently replanted the beds, completing a wonderful piece of design and build. We'll be getting them back to do our back garden soon.

We will always use Andy for our future garden work - he has done a couple of jobs for us now and in our experience Andy has a good design eye and he and his employees are friendly and hard working and do a quality job in a tidy and efficient way.

Arranged a one-off cleanup on behalf of my mum, who is in her 90s and is struggling to get a regular gardener. Jack’s team arrived bang on schedule and did a great job of clearing weeds from the path, mowing the lawn, trimming the hedges and tidying a lot of overgrown shrubs. The guys were friendly and professional and walked her round the garden on a supportive arm so she could confirm she was happy with the work at the end (she was!). We had a massive job of culling back our over grown garden and removing some old tree stumps. This company were fast to respond, got the work done within a week, and to a high standard. Polite and professional staff. Really happy with their work and nothing bad to say about them.

We had Weed warriors round to tackle our privets that were in a mess and overgrown. They responded promptly and had a personal approach. We are so happy with the work they have done. The privets look so neat and tidy. All waste was taken away and the job was completed quickly. Service was professional and very friendly. We will definitely be asking them back again. Al has done a great job in managing our gardens over the last 10 months. He really knows his stuff and has always been reliable, giving us impeccable lawns with razor sharp edges, wonderful weed-free borders and neat and tidy hedges. Always rakes up and leaves everything very tidy too!
