This is an old fashioned 'local' with no food served other than crisps and peanuts etc but the landlady is very friendly. My walkers group have just resumed visiting there after our walk and she always bakes delicious cakes for us. There is a nice little garden to the side of it with very comfy patio furniture
Great tavern - landlord keeps the lines clean and pricing lean. Proper sports punters clientele and from day one I felt I belonged at The Jolly Gardners. Thank you one and all!
Just left this great classic English local. Absolute great service from the bearded guy behind the bar. You could see he loved his job, he was cleaning, taking care of things, very polite. We felt very welcome. Definitely recommend
