Great service, our electric went off and the trip switch would not come back on. Called 1st class electrical, he was very helpful and arrived within 10 minutes and he found the issue and it was sorted within 30 minutes. Will definitely use again if needed

Really pleased with the work carried out to install 2 x extractors and a PIV unit. The work was much more involved than first thought, and the poor guy was working in our loft on the hottest day of the year! But he returned a second day to finish up and the original price was honoured. A pleasure having you in our home and feeling the benefits of the extractors and PIV as soon as they were turned on!

We brought a house with 12 solar panels just over a month ago. We knew the panels were not serviced or cleaned since installed 10 years ago (2013) We reached out to DES Ltd who completed a full service and cleaning service. Great Service, Great knowledge and advice. Nice to find someone that takes the time to repair and refurbish alternators and starters to these standards. Often they are better than the original manufactured unit!

I felt compelled to submit this review in response to the negative one below as I was very surprised at the negative comments. I have been using AJW for at least 20 years now and most recently for a Subaru alternator rebuild this week. AJW has always been my ‘go to’ place for alternator or starter motor refurbishment and I can honestly say that they have never let me down. In my experience, their refurbished units are easily as good as new or exchange units and I have never had one fail on me. Alan and his family have always been a delight to work with. Granted, their premises are a little scruffy and unorthodox, but that gives them a certain charm in my book. ( As does the old Morris in the driveway.) It is very unfortunate that someone feels fit to ‘troll’ a small family business in the way of the one star review below, but I guess everyone is entitled to their opinion. My experiences with Alan and AJW are very long term and additionally very recent and I can find no way to fault the business from my own point of view, so I can only say they I will have no hesitation in continuing to use AJW and would thoroughly recommend others to do the same.

We recently purchased a house which needed an inspection, and a few fixes. Steve and Matt have been fantastic throughout the whole process. Their prices are very reasonable, especially for the quality of the work done, and always friendly and helpful. Very responsive, got back to us way before any other companies did, and when we had our inspection done, Steve went through it with us over the phone and explained what it all meant which was really appreciated. Would highly recommend!

Steve and Matt came recommended to me from a work mate who had them do some work for him. I contacted them and said I just bought a house and a new re-wire was a must. A full install and new fuse board were put in, all new sockets and switches etc, all done to a great spec, minimal disruption to the rest of the house, exactly how I wanted everything. Plus they were easy to deal with and speak to throughout the whole job. I recommend them to anyone and everyone now, very happy indeed :)

Lewis carried out my job which was reapplying hall lights back on to walls and replacing face switches for new. He was very punctual, friendly and courteous. When completed the job he ensured everything was tidied and I was happy with the work he had done. I shall use this company again and I highly recommend them. They are value for money and workmanship is excellent.

We would highly recommend and am more than satisfied with the services provided by LET Electrical & renewables. Right from the initial introduction to Lewis and his services he was very informative and he patiently listened and answered all questions. Lewis handled all paperwork and assisted with the finance application and kept us updated at every stage of the order and installation. Vincent was brilliant from start to finish. Super speedy arrival which was the most helpful thing when our whole home went down without power. He is reliable, a local Electrician, charges competitive rates and offers a no fuss service seemingly making every job a breeze for his customer's giving him a well earned 5 stars in my book.
