I have been a patient of Carholme Dental Practice for many years now, and always received a very friendly professional service there. The practice has a pleasant atmosphere, and caters for both private and NHS patients, I never have any problems getting an appointment at a time to suit me. The dental surgeons are excellent and always give proper transparent explanations for any treatments that may be needed. Free 2 hour parking is available within approx 50 meters of the practice, I’ve always found a vacant space when attending the practice. I’d highly recommend this practice.

You get a text appointment reminder and a link that allows you to complete forms online prior to the appointment. Check in at reception was quick and friendly. I arrived early and actually got to see my dentist early. She gave me a through check up and was also friendly and professional. The whole experience was good.

I have always had a phobia of dentists since I was a child. Dr Gomez at Carholme Dental Practice has got me through several dental procedures that I never thought would be possible. I thank both her and the practice for their understanding and help x

I'm autistic, and this dentist is VERY understanding of my specific needs, particularly related to periods of poor dental hygeine when I've been depressed. She always takes her time to make sure I understand what's happening. Honestly I would expect this level of understanding in a specialist unit or privately, it's incredibly rare to see this time taken these days especially with dentists. If you struggle with anything like that please let them know, and they'll go out of their way to help you and most importantly keep your teeth healthy.

Honestly, most people hate the dentist, but i love Aisha my dentist, and her assistant. They talk you through step by step of every procedure, VERY informative and all round bubbly and kind atmosphere, great when visiting with the kids. Amazing team from bookings to treatment. This is precisely what our city needs, please don’t ever leavvvveeeeeee !!

Absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Monika has been amazing as have all the dental nurses. Reception staff are really helpful and friendly. Really pleased with the work I have had done and would highly recommend this practice to anyone.

I had my check up on Monday and would like to say how friendly and efficient the young lady on reception was. I was soon called in and looked after by the always professional and cheerful Ayaz. I had no treatment apart from an X-ray and all was fine and came away feeling reassured and proud of my teeth! Thank you 🤩

Had terrible toothache resulting in loss of sleep for days. Needed an emergency appointment as I am not registered. Popped in to the surgery, fast efficient process, simple to fill out forms, got me in within an hour. The dentist was brilliant, really good customer service skills, looked, took an xray, and gave me options. Within 20 mins of walking in, my painful tooth was extracted, and I was on my way. Cannot fault the staff or service given.

I was a patient of Theo Visser who was the best dentist ever. After he retired I was reffered to Daisy Varley. I was very apprehensive but she has just sorted my teeth out and I have no issues with her. She has a lovely manner and the procedure was painless. I would highly recommend her and I am gutted that she too is leaving 😢 now what?

I have severe dental trauma and going to the dentist is terrifying for me. Elegant smiles were amazing, patient, professional, and kind. I actually looked forward to my appointments because I knew I was in good hands and they helped me a lot. I would recommend this dentist to anyone especially if you are scared of dentists.

I couldn’t recommend Lincoln Smile Centre enough. I have had multiple treatments here and all have been brilliant experiences. Both my upper wisdom teeth were extracted by Tom who made me feel at complete ease and had them out exceptionally quick. He was also very accommodating given I was on a delayed train from London, and was more than happy to wait (on a Friday evening!) for me to arrive. I also underwent my Invisalign journey with Tom which has given me so much more confidence. The experience was smooth sailing and took just 10 months.

Before I found the smile centre I had a awful experience from my previous dentist leaving me very nervous. I came hear and instantly didn’t felt judged and every procedure I needed was discussed in great detail . I can honestly Say Imogen has been amazing with me. Not only has she created the smile I never thought I could possible have , she is more then just a dentist she knows my behaviour and emotions and has really made me feel confident sitting in the chair. Between her a Leslie (who has also allowed me to humm my heart out when nervous & who goes above and beyond to keep me calm) I can honestly say I look forward to what work i have done because the outcome is always more then I could ever expect and the level of care and effort and professionalism they put it really is incredible so thank you !

I feel very lucky to have Lincoln Smile Centre as my registered dentist. Everyone is so friendly. Lisa is an AMAZING dentist and did an excellent job changing a bad filling I previously had at a different dental practice. I can't recommend Lincoln Smile Centre enough!

Brilliant dentist! Had to reschedule due to the dentist I was going to see was unwell, however the reception staff were really helpful and got me in within an hour with a different dentist. The dentist I saw was lovely and incredibly helpful. He spoke me through everything he was doing and made me feel at ease.

My Implant took longer than average to heal, due to myself having had surgery on that part of the gum several years before and so for about 6 months i had to wear a denture...! ! this experience if nothing else really bought home to me why i was having "Implant surgery" in the first place .... i HATED wearing the denture and could not imagine wearing it for the rest of my life... To create a flawless look to my front teeth Dr Edwards also replaced one of my front teeth crowns.. and while these were being made she made me some beautiful temporary teeth... the final fitting was painless and the final results OUTSTANDING..!.! i am truly delighted...the whole process took about 14 months .. and that is unusual but i had a damaged gum and the healing process and the bone growing around the Implant took longer.... because of this, But i am confident that the Implant will last me for life... I was not a general dental patient at this surgery i was seen privately for "Implant" surgery...I would give Dr Melanie Edwards a five Star rating for the treatment i received while under her care.. and would recommend her Without hesitation should you be considering a Dental Implant as i feel i received a truly " Bespoke " treatment by a true Professional who only wanted the BEST outcome for me..

Firstly took me three weeks to see Melanie Edwards....that's a good thing she is in demand..! I sought advice and inspection as i had a broken tooth and had been advised elsewhere that i was in need of an "Implant". The surgery offers off road parking and I was seen within 7 mins of my appointment time.. the surgery is Spotless and Melanie Edwards and her staff are professional and warm.. i was advised of all my options and i have opted for an "Implant".. the procedure will take 6 months. The good news is all the work can be done "in-house"... The overall cost is over £3000...Its competitive..! and that does cover a lot of appointments, surgery.. denture, implant...a new crown and im assured the tooth will last me a lifetime.. today i had the infected tooth removed.... ..It was quick, and painless and again i was seen with 6 mins of my appointment time..!I was given a Numbing gel prior to injection that helped with the injections into the front teeth.... So far IMPRESSIVE! Update: Tuesday 25th July Went into the surgery to have my implant fitted today, Again seen within 5 mins of arriving,.. Had numbing gel.. before injections and although the overall operation took over an hour i can honestly say it was "Painfree" Dr Edwards and her team were reassuring and professional.. and i was given a through discussion on how to take care of my implant and stitches while it was healing...... Plus antibiotics and painkillers and a sterile rinse.. Mouth felt a little tender when i got home But nothing unexpected, and easily sorted with Paracetamol.

Like a lot of people 'the dentist' is not my most favourite place to spend my time, a reason why I chose to put time and effort into finding a dentist who's right for me. I had been thinking about getting cosmetic treatment on my teeth for many years and decided that if I was going to voluntarily spend time at the dentist, it had to be with someone I felt comfortable with and trusted. After visiting Melanie for a consultation where she explained my options thoroughly and details of the procedure, I decided to go ahead. I visited Melanie a second time to have impressions taken and was given a whitening kit to complete a 14 day treatment prior to the main appointment. On the day of the main appointment and treatment, Melanie and her team were warm, welcoming and professional. She explained the procedure and took before and after photos so we could both fully appreciate the end result. I was offered anaesthetic but decided to try without and even though I was completely pain free throughout the procedure, Melanie stopped regularly to make sure I was not in any discomfort. She also listened to comments I made and adapted her work accordingly. I felt relaxed, comfortable and able to communicate with Melanie throughout the treatment and couldn't be happier with the end result! I just wish I hadn't of waited so long to make the decision! Thank you x

Been this morning to have tooth removed. Even though I was late they still saw me. Everything explained to me about was they were going to do, not rushed. Dentist checked mouth was numb before removing tooth. Never felt a thing, after care explained. Checked I felt ok before left the room.

I am a very nervous patient But the dentist I was seen by was fantastic he put me at ease. Repaired my tooth straight away, so there was no second appointment. Because he could see how nervous I was, he took his time stopping and telling me to rest, then doing a bit more. Asking me if I was OK. I will only ever want to see him again. Thank you. This is the best dental treatment I’ve had. I’m usually very nervous but in the hands of Neethu and Chaima I need not of worried. I had a deep clean and it was completely painless which normally it’s not and no bleeding which normally it does. The receptionist is so friendly and kind. Seriously I really do hope they keep these members of staff because they are simply the best.
