With a raging abscess at boiling point, I contacted my dental practice, Freedom Dental in Cheadle Hulme, only to be informed that they have recently changed to become a private practice. However, they told me they have a sister practice, Heaton Mersey Dental, and they was a possibility I could register with them as an NHS patient. After a few minutes on the phone with Sadie who explained in detail the procedure to facilitate this, I was their latest patient within a couple of hours!
