Date of visit 15/11/24.( New patient) I was really very anxious as it was my first time for treatment with a new dentist. I needed not to have had such a sleepless night worrying! I feel very stupid now because I was looked after so well by my fabulous team Dr.Jessica Scott and nurse Ellie. They understood my nervousness and immediately reassured me that I was going to be in safe hands. The treatment I received was quick and completely painless. Ellie was really lovely and kept reassuring me as the treatment progressed which was greatly appreciated. I have to visit again for a couple more longer appointments to prepare to have a gold crown fitting and I promise not to be such a baby next time! Having had such a good experience on my first visit has absolutely reassured me that I’m in very experienced and safe gentle hands. So I’m looking forward to my next appointment! I recommend the dentist Rishi Naraidoo.. he is a very good dentist.. he really knows what he is doing and the visit with him was a pleasure.. I almost fell asleep while he was fixing my teeth.. he is very friendly and understanding.. he explained everything very well, how the treatment would be carried out, paying attention to the smallest details... I highly recommend it, it's really worth it!!

Had an emergency appointment due to toothache, the tooth needed extracting, this was done really swiftly. From the moment I first contacted this practise right through to the end of the treatment I felt very well looked after by the whole team. Best dental care experience I’ve ever had.

I’m not one who tends to write reviews but after my first check up today I felt like I wanted to. This is for other people out there who have had their NHS practice closed and now can’t get a NHS dentist and are reluctant to go private. I understand how you feel, I work part time and am at college and finances are tough enough. Yet I found myself admitting defeat and looking for a dentist, I like to have yearly check ups and was getting anxious it had been too long (I’m on the NHS waiting listing for a wisdom tooth removal and wanted to check that I was fine waiting). A College friend told me how she had an emergency appointment here and how great they were. She had ended up joining them and told me they were taking on new private patients. My parents and I have now joined and have all been happy with the process. I particular like, how above you there is a computer screen, you can see the dental nurse inputting data as it’s called out. So yes, the check up is a quick process but you can see all the info being inputted and that you’re getting a full check up. He also checked my gums for bleeding. This is only my first check up but for now, I’m comfortable that my dental health is in good hands and that any work recommended, is in my best interest and not for them to make a quick buck. So for now in this NHS dental desert, I am happy to be on their books.

I admit I did have some nerves about having my 2 impacted wisdom teeth extracted. However, shortly after walking into the surgery, I met Bilal who told me the procedure would be relatively straight forward. Bilal has a very good manner, and the extractions were straight forward as he said. Highly recommended.

This was my first time going to a dentist to extract a tooth. I am someone who have pride in my teeth and at the age of 68 had a full set of teeth. Unfortunately one of them broke while I am on holiday in the UK. Smile Kind was very professional, patient and made me comfortable. From the minute I walked in until I left i was treated with kindness and courtesy. Will highly recommend their services. Thank You Sara and Sam.

Bilal and Sarah were absolutely superb. I've never EVER had work done on my teeth before so having my wisdom tooth out felt like a big deal but I can honestly say, the needles and the extraction were NOT painful or scary at all. It was such a smooth experience and I would go back there to have more out if I could. Very talented dentists who made the whole process a positive one.

I’m currently just over 2 weeks post op on getting both my lower wisdom teeth out. The whole process from beginning to end was seamless. I was really nervous getting my teeth out but Sami and Sarah were absolutely amazing. They were both so reassuring and empathetic. They made me feel welcomed and comfortable which i really appreciated. When i got them out, Sami was very quick & both of them were out in like 5 minutes. I luckily had little to no swelling and the pain wasn’t horrible. There was a point where it was very painful and i contacted smilekind and they were so wonderful at getting me an appointment quickly so the dentist could take a look. The holes seem to be healing nice as well. I’ve see to many horror stories of wisdom teeth extractions, im very grateful for Samis expertise in getting them out without any problems. He’s very confident in the work he does and i found that really comforting. Again, a massive thank you to the whole team. A lot of places don’t seem to care about their patients anymore so it’s refreshing to see a business remain genuine in wanting to help.

Having a dental phobia it took a lot to seek out treatment for a molar that needed extracting. SmileKind was definitely the right choice. During the initial consultation I was so anxious I could barely get the words out but they were very patient and explained the treatment process which was reassuring. All the staff were knowledgeable and understanding.

I never thought I would write a review praising a dentist. I was a grown up baby absolutely terrified of dentists. I would literally shake and make myself ill just sitting in the waiting room. However, I found Dorset Dental Clinic who actually listened to my fears and have now totally transformed my look. My teeth were so bad that it took a 5 hour operation under anesthetic to remove the lot and completely replace with new. The work is now complete and it has added a level of confidence and wellbeing to my life. I have had many problems with my teeth since I was a child. I tried many dentists over the years and I must say that Finest Smile is by far the best. I had given up on dentist for few years after few really bad experiences. I am very happy that I have found Monika and her team, they are all amazing. Excellent and very professional care. Monika even stayed working longer on my last visit to make sure everything looks perfect. I had fillings done, crowns, root canal, all of it was done to a really high standard and looks even better than I thought it would be. Highly recommended.

Having been petrified of the dentist for many years, I can not fault the care and attention that I have received from everyone at dentistry@68. The whole process of sedation was very relaxing, and every step was explained fully. There was no rushing. After having 2 extractions, I had no pain at all, which shows the care and attention provided during treatment.

I am not a fan of going to the dentist, basically because my pain threshold is not great. However, I have been going to this dental practice since childhood and have always been looked after. My current dentist who I have been seeing for many years is Richie. He has always looked after me with empathy and understanding and is very reassuring. He takes the time to explain all treatment options with no pressure as to which I should proceed with. As much as anyone can enjoy going to the dentist, I do enjoy the rapport that I have with Richie and he has earned my trust and respect.

I have been a patient at Black Swan for several years and have found every part of the service to be exemplary from the Reception staff through to the Hygienists and Dentists. I recently had extensive and difficult work done to correct a problem and Ahmad was so understanding and spent considerable time and effort ensuring that I was happy with the result. I cannot imagine any of my previous dentists taking this amount of trouble. I feel confident in knowing that Ahmad and his team will always strive to choose the best treatment I need.

As a very nervous dental patient, I cannot recommend Black Swan more highly. I am currently undergoing a course of treatment with Dooha who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also exceptionally understanding and human. I’ve been totally put at ease and feel genuinely cared for by the entire team. The reception staff are second to none, and play such a vital role in the whole experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else (it also helps that it also feels like you’re stepping into a 5* hotel when you enter the building!)

I had a dental emergency so called Simon Wood at Lumley and Wood to arrange an appointment. I was expecting a wait as the surgery had only just re opened but I was delighted to get an appointment within an hour or two of the call. The surgery was running a very efficient system with questions relating to COVID-19 both before and on arrival. My temperature was checked and hand sanitizer was provided. The surgery entrance was only opened for booked patients. I felt very safe in the surgery environment as the staff were wearing PPE with my dentist using a visor and a mask in addition to the usual measures. Extra equipment had been installed to extract the circulating air after every patient and cleaning of surfaces and longer gaps between patients were organised. An excellent service, as always, in what felt like a very safe environment.

I had an emergency appointment followed by a filling a week later My whole experience was very well managed from the first call booking in right through to the final appointment- all handled with the professionalism and kindness I have come to appreciate in the 28+ years of being with Lumley and Wood They are handling the current health situation brilliantly If you have any concerns about attending during this time wipe them away as everything is handled correctly with no risks whatsoever. The treatment I’ve had from saving damaged teeth to recently fitting me with my amazing new replacements has been exemplary. Outstanding! From the moment you walk in it's a positive experience. Receptionists are very pleasant & helpful and it's an overall nice environment. Dentist (Bart) did a brilliant job doing my root canal and I can't recommend him and the dental practice more highly.
