Very professional service. The most important thing is that I trust my dentist and hygienist have first-rate skills, are ethical and can give the best advice, and I'm confident that my dentist and hygienist at Lyme Bay have all these qualities. The support staff all seem genuinely in tune with the high values of the practice too.

I have just had approx 20 crowns fitted to replace 40 year old ones which were looking unsightly. Needless to say this was extensive treatment and expensive, however Matthew is such a comfortable person to be with, he is so friendly and approachable, and really tried to make me feel relaxed.. my only negative was i felt bit ropey a couple of times and would have loved a quiet room to sit in for a while rather than the waiting room, but this is a lot to ask i suppose , especially in a small building. Staff are very helpful and friendly .I am so pleased with my new teeth 🥰

Prior to being a patient at the Gardens Dental Practice I used to be very anxious about going to the dentist, I can honestly say all members of the team are warm and professional and put you at ease from the minute you walk through the door. Izzie deserves a particular mention for her excellence, but she is also caring and gentle. My teeth are so dramatically improved, her work is exceptional and I am so grateful. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. The service offered is exceptional and I could not be happier with my choice of dentists. Thank you to all of the team!

My son was nervous having his first ever filling, as a mum you feel awful putting your child through this but the wonderful Jenny made us both feel relaxed and fully communicated with my son what was going to happen. Alain and the team were amazing. Although the word amazing is not a word I would usually associate with a visit to the dentist, his compassionate and professional manner put me at ease and enabled me to remain calm and relaxed. Moreover, the whole team a Crewkerne are a credit to dentistry in general. Good luck trying to find a better group of humans to help in your hour of need! My sincere thanks to everyone. And although I can’t honestly say I’m looking forward to my next appointment, I’m not filled with dread and anxiety when I think about returning in the future!

Had pain with a molar over a number of months and Crewkerne Dentist Centre (& Jason Salvador Swords in particular) had always fitted me in at short notice; tried various treatments (not always charged) which eased, for a period, but also checked on tooth once removed (by oral surgeon) as I had some issues, again without charge. Very happy with his service and all the staff there are lovely. Thank you 🙏

It wasn’t my usual dentist, however, I was made to feel at ease and the problem was promptly resolved. My anxiety levels were elevated due to childhood memories at the dentist. I would feel happy to see the same person again. Their approach was gentle, calming and professional. Very understanding and informative.

Fantastic service and very patient with nervous patients. I was petrified going for the first consultation but after having the first lot of work done, I can say they are very good. I didn't feel a thing and the team reassured me and checked in regularly to make sure I was ok. I would give more than 5 stars if I could and would recommend to family and friends.

Only had 2 appointments since joined. Both with Ahmed & so pleased we moved there. Treatments were excellent & I felt comfortable at all times. The staff are very welcoming, friendly & can talk you through your treatment if needed.

Have been with Black Swan for at least 12 years. It can’t be often that people say they enjoy going to the dentist but I do. The team is welcoming and supportive. Procedures are clearly explained and why one needs them likewise. I can’t praise the whole team enough.

In my four years of attending Black Swan I've always received exceptional care, but my last visit to see my lovely hygienist, Donna, deserves a special mention. She is absolutely first class at what she does, which is reflected in the visible and measurable improvement to my gums, and she is gentle and caring. As a very nervous dental patient, I cannot recommend Black Swan more highly. I am currently undergoing a course of treatment with Dooha who is not only exceptionally knowledgeable but also exceptionally understanding and human. I’ve been totally put at ease and feel genuinely cared for by the entire team. The reception staff are second to none, and play such a vital role in the whole experience. I wouldn’t go anywhere else (it also helps that it also feels like you’re stepping into a 5* hotel when you enter the building!)

I had an exceptional experience today. Naomi and her wonderful assistant demonstrated a high level of professionalism and genuine care. Remarkably, at 43 years old, I even learned the proper technique for brushing my teeth.

As a new patient to the practice my first impression was relaxing with efficiency. From reception to medical staff the air is calm and reassuring. After my initial check up, I needed a filling which was so quick and totally painless. Highly recommended. 👍

Date of visit 15/11/24.( New patient) I was really very anxious as it was my first time for treatment with a new dentist. I needed not to have had such a sleepless night worrying! I feel very stupid now because I was looked after so well by my fabulous team Dr.Jessica Scott and nurse Ellie. They understood my nervousness and immediately reassured me that I was going to be in safe hands. The treatment I received was quick and completely painless. Ellie was really lovely and kept reassuring me as the treatment progressed which was greatly appreciated. I have to visit again for a couple more longer appointments to prepare to have a gold crown fitting and I promise not to be such a baby next time! Having had such a good experience on my first visit has absolutely reassured me that I’m in very experienced and safe gentle hands. So I’m looking forward to my next appointment! This dental practice is absolutely fantastic they really look after their patients, it’s very clean, well presented and maintained. It’s staff are tremendous, friendly, helpful, caring and very polite, my dentist Dr Govender is a smashing dentist he goes out of his way to make sure that the treatment both I and my mother receives is as pain and stress free and relaxed as possible. I would definitely recommend this dentist practice to family, friends, neighbours and anyone requiring a dentist. Please note this is a private dentist and NOT an NHS dentist.

Everyone at Stamford House is kind, friendly and knowledgeable which instills confidence in me as a patient. Dr Govender is very caring. He always explains in detail any problem I have, makes sure I understand and describes the different courses of action and treatment available. A truly professional experience from start to finish. Communication by email and text message re upcoming appointments is excellent. Also changing appointments is very easy and hassle free. Upon entering the practice you are greeted in a warm and friendly manner, which continues throughout your visit. I am very pleased with Dr. Govender's work . He is very thorough and has done a lot more checks on me than any other dentist I have had in the past. A true professional. Although not a nervous patient myself, if you are worried by dentists then I recommend this practice. Dr. Govender will calmly explain everything before it happens and put you at ease. I’m not one who tends to write reviews but after my first check up today I felt like I wanted to. This is for other people out there who have had their NHS practice closed and now can’t get a NHS dentist and are reluctant to go private. I understand how you feel, I work part time and am at college and finances are tough enough. Yet I found myself admitting defeat and looking for a dentist, I like to have yearly check ups and was getting anxious it had been too long (I’m on the NHS waiting listing for a wisdom tooth removal and wanted to check that I was fine waiting). A College friend told me how she had an emergency appointment here and how great they were. She had ended up joining them and told me they were taking on new private patients. My parents and I have now joined and have all been happy with the process. I particular like, how above you there is a computer screen, you can see the dental nurse inputting data as it’s called out. So yes, the check up is a quick process but you can see all the info being inputted and that you’re getting a full check up. He also checked my gums for bleeding. This is only my first check up but for now, I’m comfortable that my dental health is in good hands and that any work recommended, is in my best interest and not for them to make a quick buck. So for now in this NHS dental desert, I am happy to be on their books.

Had an emergency appointment due to toothache, the tooth needed extracting, this was done really swiftly. From the moment I first contacted this practise right through to the end of the treatment I felt very well looked after by the whole team. Best dental care experience I’ve ever had.

Having been recommended Dorset Dental by my son I can honestly say that it's the first time in my life that I don't mind going to the dentist. Fabulous treatment from Szusanna and have also just been fitted for an anti snore mouth piece which I will be testing tonight! Great service and team.
