I was a nervous patient and have had years of poor experiences and anxiety when needing to see a dentist. I have now been with Dan and the team for two years and they are all amazing. I have had a number of treatments they have all been pain free, well explained and left me with a smile I am proud of again. I cannot recommend this team highly enough for their skill, kindness and results.

Yesterday I needed emergency treatment for a tooth infection. Gentle Dentistry gave me an immediate appointment I was treated by Ed who was absolutely amazing professional and made me feel at ease. I have been coming to Gentle Dentistry for a few years now and I’m always impressed by their professionalism, warmth and friendliness every time. Thankyou so much Ed for yesterday’s treatment and for the follow up phone call today from Izzy to make sure I’m feeling fine. This clinic is worth every visit.

I cannot recommend The Gentle Dentistry highly enough—they are, without question, the best dentists I've ever visited (and I've been to quite a few). As a very anxious patient with previous bad experiences, I thoroughly researched to find a trustworthy dentist for complex work. My search led me to The Gentle Dentistry. After reviewing their website, I decided to book a consultation. From the moment I walked through the door, the experience was seamless. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. I received a detailed treatment plan, with every aspect clearly explained. I required multiple appointments due to the complexity of the work, and each visit was reassuring, with the entire process clearly outlined. Meeting Dan and Ed for different treatments was a pleasure—they provided exceptional care. The assistants were fantastic, offering support throughout the entire process. When I first came to The Gentle Dentistry, I hated my smile and had severe trauma from past dental issues and bad experiences. Now, I have a smile I'm proud of and much less fear of dental work. I highly recommend Dan, Ed, and The Gentle Dentistry for their meticulous attention to detail and outstanding work. I experienced no pain during any treatment, and even the injections, which I usually dread, were barely noticeable. Anyone needing dental care or struggling with anxiety about dentists should definitely go here.

As a very anxious patient, I usually dread visits to the dentist, but no longer. We recently had new patient check ups with Luke at Rock House dental practice and Luke is amazing. He was so caring and gentle that the whole experience was calm and pleasant. I highly recommend this practice and wish I had found it years ago.

I'd Just like to say a Big Thankyou to Luke and Tash ,when l came in yesterday to have a Tooth Extraction . I suffer with Panics ,but l felt totally at ease ,as Luke explained everything, and was very kind. 100% recommended for Invisalign treatment. Both my sister and I have had orthodontic treatment at dental on the banks and very happy indeed. I had a number of Dental Implants done at Upton Dental practise and from the moment I arrived to the moment I left I felt safe, comforted, well informed and proffesionally cared for! I over the years i have been to many dentists but this one exceeds anywhere I have been before! Would thoroughly reccomend!!

For anyone considering dental Implants I cannot recommend highly enough. Henne and Vicky are so relaxed and competent and explain procedures the whole way along . Pricing is transparent too . The after care and hygiene practices are also outstanding . To have this procedure done locally cannot be under rated . I had far higher quotes abroad and add to that the cost of travel and the time needed there before you could fly . This was my best choice ever !

Upton Dental are an excellent practice, I had an emergency appointment today (as I had to cancel last weeks) nothing was too much trouble from the staff on reception to the nurses & dental surgeons they are all so professional from start to finish. Our family have used the Upton Dental practice for years now and would never move away from them. Its always spotless & friendly, today I was in early and away in good time with my tooth repaired. Josh kindly fitted an implant nearly two years ago which I am very pleased with, I recently had an issue with the gum surrounding the implant. Josh and Tawf were able to quickly address the issue for which I am very grateful, the review was very thorough and I learned some useful tips on how to use interdental brushes.

A good experience at South Coast Dental with Josh. Had a tooth implant here and was extremely nervous, from start to finish everything was explained fully, and support was given at every step by Josh, Tawny and team. I am a very nervous patient following treatment received as a child in the 1960s. However, the treatment I received from Fernando for my dental implants was second to none. He is an excellent practitioner and has the ability to create an air of calm which would put any nervous patient at ease. My implants fit perfectly and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him and the staff at South Coast Dental. How I wish it had been the same for me as a child. Thank you to everyone at the practice.

I had 3 implants successfully inserted by Fernando a couple of years ago, without any pain. Recently I needed a deep cleansing treatment for gum disease over one tooth and again, I did not experience pain. Although I have private general dentistry, this is the only dental surgeon who has given injections without pain due to the use of a superior numbing agent beforehand. All the staff are very pleasant also. I can highly recommend this Centre.

I had an accident over the weekend and knocked out my front teeth, I was in a lot of pain and needed them fixed as soon as possible. The very helpful receptionist at Bupa dental care in Shaftesbury spoke to my mum and had us booked in first thing Monday morning without any issues. The dentist I saw was absolutely incredible, I was very nervous and he made me feel calm and the treatment was painless. My teeth look amazing and I’m so pleased with them. To have it done so quickly, efficiently, painlessly and with incredible customer service makes such a difference. Thank you to all the team!

During a recent visit to the area, I received urgent dental advice from Dr. Amit, whose kindness and professionalism were exceptional. The Alaska House Dental Team provided such outstanding service that I would join this practice without hesitation if I lived in Blandford Forum.

On my first visit to Alaska house I was seen by Llewellyn Camilla. She made me feel very welcomed and put me at ease straight away. Nicole the Hygienist was really lovely and spoke through every process she was going to be doing. I'm quite a nervous patient so this was nice to have. She also offered me lots of advice on how to keep my gums healthy. She was very lovely and welcoming! My overall experience so far at Alaska house has been very good, everyone at the practice is so welcoming.

I have just had approx 20 crowns fitted to replace 40 year old ones which were looking unsightly. Needless to say this was extensive treatment and expensive, however Matthew is such a comfortable person to be with, he is so friendly and approachable, and really tried to make me feel relaxed.. my only negative was i felt bit ropey a couple of times and would have loved a quiet room to sit in for a while rather than the waiting room, but this is a lot to ask i suppose , especially in a small building. Staff are very helpful and friendly .I am so pleased with my new teeth 🥰

I had an extremely bad experience as a child. This was my first trip to a dentist in 50 years. Matthew was extremely patient, calm and methodical and any anxiety was soon forgotten. It was a very positive and painless experience.

Theo is the most amazing dentist I have visited, he is calm and cool and continually talking to you throughout the procedure. I had 2 teeth extracted and both time was painless, his way of giving injection also painless, I haven’t felt a thing. All you have to do is “relax and breath, I’ll do the rest “ that’s his advice and worked both time. Worth every penny and I wouldn’t go anywhere else and that’s matter of fact. Thanks Doc, see you next month to do the rest.
